I have started bringing all three of my cars to them recently after losing a good friend and great mechanic to cancer recently. They have been very good, a lot cheaper than any dealer and very honest in their dealings with me. Hard to beat their honest approach to business. Good service at a more than fair price. read more

I was charged $120 for one hour of labor to put my car up on the lift and tell me that my exhaust system needed replacing due to rust. I was told that this was the standard diagnostic fee. I called around to other shops in the area and learned that $40 and even free diagnostic inspections are the norm for muffler and exhaust systems. I feel that I was exceedingly overcharged for service provided, and no longer trust this shop. read more

The air conditioning on my daughter's car went out and my regular mechanic wasn't available. We went to One Touch because of the great reviews. They correctly diagnosed it as the compressor and said that it would be $2,500 to replace it. A quick Google search indicated that was much too high, so we paid the $150 diagnostic fee and waited for our regular mechanic - who fixed it for $938. read more

The alternator on my RAM 3500 went bad. I called to see what the availability was for a replacement or rebuild. I dropped the truck off just before closing and picked it up the next afternoon. I'm very happy with the service. I spoke with a couple staff members and they were giving of their time. I'll consider One Touch a resource for future truck needs. read more

Very disappointed with this business. Please read their Facebook reviews after you read their website reviews. Please take it from a fair honest person, find someone else to fix your automobile. The dealership in my case would have been $1000.00 dollars cheaper. Based on my experience the negative reviews are valid. These guys are Opportunist on the mechanically uninclined. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I came in from out of town on a trip during the travel of which the engine light came on. I went to one touch auto to have it serviced, they charged me close to $400 bucks for what turned out to be a complete misdiagnosis, parts and services which did nothing to address the problem at all. They told me that they test drove the car, but within five miles of driving out of their lot the exact same problems came back again. I called them back for a refund as any customer who received unsatisfactory service has within reason to expect, they are completely unapologetic. All I got to say is, if they get your car fixed on their first try, great. If not, don't expect they to come to a reasonable resolution that you would find satisfactory. Their business motto of customer service is archaic at best. If businesses like Amazon behaved like them they would NOT have business. read more

I had my car towed here. The biggest mistake I've ever made. I spoke to Richard on the phone and told him my car started and died. He had his mechanics look at it. He called back and said it would be $900.00 to repair it. The work was done, and the day it was to be picked up he called and said it would be another $1100.00 to have it repaired, because the timing belt was worn. I called another shop (Fountain City Auto) and was given an estimate of $649.00 for replacement of the timing belt. Richard was rude and condescending. I did not want to pay $900.00 for a car that has the same issues it was brought in with. I would not recommend this place to an enemy. read more

Guy tried screwing me. Saying I had a new starter when in fact it was a reman. He knew he was in the wrong. I gave him years of business to get cheated. The work he does is good. Just poor ethics with revolving customers. I sure wont be back.Also tried covering up the fact that the starter was a "RE MAN". I called several parts stores including the one he got the part from and they also said the DO NOT sale NEW starters. read more

I can't say enough good things about the people here! We were on vacation from out of state for our daughter's 16th birthday trip and started having car trouble in Gatlinburg. Richard and his crew went above and beyond to help us and get us back on the road. They were friendly, helpful, and even let us camp out in their waiting area with all of our luggage. If I can keep one person from going to this repair shop I will feel like I have done my job for humanity! As you can see in all the reviews and ratings what you think your getting with One Touch Auto is not what you get in the end. Our car broke down and we were told they were the only ones open so we had pretty much no choice, the owner even repeated to me "we are your only option today." First red flag!!! 2 hours later he said we would need a new engine. Long story short we had it towed out of there but not until he charged us $489 in storage and parts he said he put on the vehicle which were "SPARK PLUGS!" We had the vehicle towed to mechanic in VA and to no surprise we needed NO new engine! Please read the reviews as we should have done before we ended up at One Touch Auto Repair. read more

Help your self and not waste time with this rip-off. He tried to charge me $1200 to replace one side of the rear suspension on a 2006 Nissan Maxima. What is sad is that, the guy rolled off the car from my tow dolly himself, but after I refused to pay him $1200 he did not even bother to put back my car back on the dolly, and gave me this lame excuse about his insurance not allowing him. Kinda stupid, what kind of insurance policy will let you take the car off the dolly but not let you put it back. The worst part is that he had the nerve to charge me diagnosis charge of $92.04 and yet I cam in knowing what was wrong with my car. These people prey on desperate people. Save yourself and run as far as possible from this shop. Any way I ended up going to Pull A Part and replaced the lower control arm myself for $2.95 and went home safe. read more

I would not recommend these people to any one! I took my vehicle there to have them check the transmission. they drove it around the parking lot and said the transmission needed replaced. I left the vehicle there for about an hour, called to let him know I was coming back to get it. when I arrived and got in the vehicle the gear shift was no longer connected. they had taken the linkage off so I couldn't take the vehicle. they thought I would leave it there for them to fix. to their surprise I did leave it there but to only have the crappy car lot I got it at to pick up. I'm so sick of mechanics and car salesman taking advantage of women! read more

On two separate occasions now, I am certain I was gouged. I didn't even argue this time, I just won't go back and want to make sure you don't either Last week I was forced to pay $1800 for what should have cost less than $1000, if that. I'm all for paying for labor, but this guy (Richard) buys his parts from local auto stores Then he charges through the roof and covers it up with bad record keeping. Do yourself a favor and tow your car elsewhere! I wish I would have taken off work to change my own distributor (should be a $250 part) and timing belt pulley ($60 at autozone, wtf) I will take this review off if I get my $1000 back for Christmas! Not to mention I was hounded by dogs in the office on both occasions. Should have known this is not a professional auto shop. read more

Richard and his staff are fantastic. He assisited my wife and daughter while traveling through Knoxville. The car had seriuos brake issues. Richard went to bat with the warranty company and got them to cover nearly half of the repair and spoke with the shop in Chicago about the sub-standard work performed on the brakes one month prior. He was able to persuade the shop in Chicago to refund most of what we paid them and applied it to our bill. They are very nice people at a family owned shop that has integrity and are honest and hard working. The work they do is outstanding! If I lived in the area, I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more
