So we wanted an inspection to know if there was any pressing issues with the home before we made a decision on the option. So we didn't want a typical home sale inspection, nor is this review reflective of that type of service. Let's start with the good. This company is very easy to communicate with. They are responsive and easy to reach out to. Joseph (who conducted the inspection) is also very personable. He did a thorough review of the home and even gave us some thoughts on how we might re-design, paint or structure the rooms in our house. Finally, the price was great, He understood the unique needs of my situation and adjusted it to a reasonable rate. My big issue came after the inspection. I negotiated the receipt of a report prior to the inspection as the landlord would need a copy. I had to continuously follow up on this after the inspection and then ask him to add issues he identified that I had written in my own notes but were not included in the report. Although I finally got a report, it took a lot of effort on my end to receive it (and it was a bit less comprehensive than I hoped for).

On 05/12/24, it rained very hard, and I was concerned about the new house since it is located next to a drainage system. Fortunately, Mark was doing another home inspection in the area and dropped by to take some pictures for me, mind you, I did not even ask him to do so. He just thought it was a good idea to do so since he was in the area. He sent pictures and confirmed that the basement was not affected. I appreciate this so much as it gives me a peace of mind. He was very thorough with his inspections and went over some general maintenance recommendations for items that were not an issue for the inspection but are important for the longevity of the home. He was always willing to answer my questions with advice and was not afraid to admit where I should consult a different expert. Most importantly, he did not try and sell me on any of his other services even when I asked if he would recommend taking further action on the home. One of them broke his toe earlier in the morning and was barely doing anything (don't blame him. Sucks they made him work through it) The other inspector frank was condescending and didn't seem like he wanted to be there. Had to argue with him to look at the deck and under it for issues we discovered ourself. Then we get a boilerplate inspection report with pictures missing and nothing meaningful. no response when asked about it.
