My visit to this restaurant was deeply disappointing on multiple levels, and I feel compelled to address both the quality of service. First, the food was unacceptable. I ordered a tempura roll, and it was so excessively greasy that it was nearly inedible. Despite being on a budget and trying not to waste money, I was unable to finish it. More importantly, the treatment I received regarding my service animal was not only disrespectful but humiliating to me and my girlfriend . I visited with this establishment with my fully trained service animal and had all necessary documentation confirming her status. After my meal, the manager or owner confronted me in a humiliating and demeaning manner, questioning my dog's legitimacy as a service animal. His tone was accusatory, and the encounter was humiliating, especially in front of my girlfriend. As a reminder, under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), businesses are required by law to allow access to service animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities. Service animals are not pets but essential for their owners' safety and well-being. Denying service or targeting an individual for bringing a service animal into a public space violates federal law. I will not return to this establishment, and I strongly urge the management to educate themselves on their legal obligations under the ADA to avoid future incidents. read more
