    Banks Know More Than They Admit--But Still Leave Consumers Unprotected…read more JPMorgan Chase Bank - Downtown Flagstaff, 100 W Birch Ave, Flagstaff, AZ 86001 If you've ever been scammed and expected your bank to help, brace yourself: they'll likely wash their hands of it. I learned this firsthand at JP Morgan Chase Bank's Downtown Flagstaff branch. Despite having access to advanced technology--IP addresses, login histories, transaction metadata--banks like Chase routinely deny responsibility and refuse to investigate fraud claims thoroughly. They act like they're powerless, when in reality, they have the tools to trace suspicious activity and protect their customers. Instead, they push the burden back on you and close the case with a generic "chargeback denied." It's infuriating. Consumers are left vulnerable, with no real recourse. The systems in place are designed to protect institutions--not the people who trust them with their money. If you're dealing with fraud, document everything and don't stop advocating for yourself. But know this: the current system is broken, and too many banks are choosing convenience over accountability.

Once I made the appointment, they gave me all the time needed to ask questions and make sure I understood what they were saying. They went over everything in detail until I was satisfied with the process. I can't tell you how great it was to have them work with me to get all my banking needs done. I felt cared for and heard. When the website doesn't give you the information you need or you don't understand what you're doing then you need to go to the bank. Once at the bank this place lets you feel like a local and you will get what you need. I highly recommend this branch. They will take care of you!

    I have NEVER written a bad review before... but I was SHOCKED by the treatment we received…read more We were referred to Heath Symonds by our realtor. Unfortunately we had a HORRIBLE experience with this guy. We filled out the application online, gave him all of our information. He said he would get back to us. We both noticed he ran our application as well as put a hard hit on our credit scores. So he had our information. He emailed us a pre-qual letter maybe 2 weeks after we had been verified & that was a pain in the butt to get from him. While we were viewing homes with our realtor, she was receiving texts and communication from him. Two weeks had gone by and we kept trying to get ahold of him... He called us once during that time but had no real information for us. Then he said he was having phone issues and gave me his wife's phone number and then said he would call me soon. Do you think I EVER got a call from him? Nope. But yet this whole time he could communicate with our realtor. This was BEYOND frustrating. We had no idea how much we even qualified for? So it was like shooting in the dark while looking for homes. We were like "well I guess we qualify for this much of a home because our realtor is taking us to see the place?". So a month after hardly getting any information from this guy, we decide to go with another lender. I communicate this with him and then he calls me immediately (I guess this is what it takes to finally get ahold of the guy?). I ask him if we could please have some of our information that he ran. He is then rude to me while asking just who exactly this new lender is and laughs at me when I don't quite remember the exact mortgage loan officers name. He agrees to send me our information. Do you think I EVER received ANY INFORMATION from this guy??? He not only made our home buying experience more stressful, he was rude, broke every single promise he made to us and hardly gave us any useful information. You want to be rude & communicate with your coworkers but not with your actual clients? Go ahead. But you're going to lose a lot of business acting this way.
