When I called, I was routed to Paula, the branch manager, who was so helpful when she scheduled a same day appointment to open a business account. She made sure I had the correct paperwork so I was prepared for my meeting with Julissa. Julissa told me that she was excited because it was the first business account she ever opened. She was kind, patient and informative with my questions. She and another associate ,Vaughn, took the time to carefully explain all of my choices with accounts and helped me with my selection. I got a debit card the same day and overall, I felt that I was well taken care of. New to Flag, I've found that people are so nice here, and the folks at OneAZ are no exception. Kudos. read more

I have been with this credit union for over 40 years. They were fantastic . . . but today they are filled with incompetent and arrogant staff that are rude and unhelpful. Their phone services are horrible and in person services are worse. I never thought that I would feel so horrible about a financial institution that I have used for so long, but I'm pretty much done. If I wanted a rude bank, then I would have used a rude bank, but I have stayed with my membership services at a credit union to get more personalized service . . . that is gone now. They are like every other bank now. read more

I've always been pleased with my service here with one exception: the lack of teller windows available. If you're only going to have one or two staffed, why even have 7 available? My other gripe is since they've changed to One Az. I used to be able to count my two direct deposits (I get paid bi weekly) as a large enough amount for my checking to stay free. Now, I had to bump it up so each direct deposit is the minimum amount. When I was charged for this- after years of not- and when I initially set up my DD I was told that what you DD in a month, not a single DD counted. Without any warning, they changed the policy. That's just crappy customer service. Also, being a CU, they are closed on Saturdays which make them less convenient to use. read more

Patty Z hung up than answered my call with care, in hopes to assist me, a customer in need somewhere. My security questions all answered and read, As care and joy danced through Patty Z's head, And my need were met Stat. By Patty Z, real quick like Zap. Always had quality service here at OneAZ. Has always seemed to be a bank coming from the ethos of Supporting me as a customer as opposed to hoping to squeeze more cash outta me. This is by far the absolute worst bank I've ever had to deal with. I got an account at OneAz after moving into the area from Michigan and belonging to a great credit union there. This bank is extremely inconvenient. Only one drive through ATM in town and that is way over on the east side. I have never been able to make a deposit into any of the ATM's at OneAz. To make a deposit I have to go to the credit union only when they're open and then they want my bank card, my driver's license, and a hand written deposit slip! Are there really people depositing money into the accounts of strangers? Why does it take so long to make any transaction here? I tried to get a small loan on a beautiful vehicle but because of the age they only offered me half the value. Not to mention by the time they actually got around to my business the vehicle was already sold anyway. At my previous credit union I could call them on the phone and 2 hours later pick up a check. I'm done with this bank. I have closed all my accounts and taken my money to another bank that actually wants it. read more

I have always had a couple accounts with AZ State Credit Union, but my most recent experience has earned most all of my accounts. I worked with Michelle, a banking supervisor. Since this was not my main bank, I kept very small amounts in my business accounts. Paypal was a sweetheart and racked up over $100 in charges without my permission. Paypal would not even respond to my requests, so I was left with the only choice of asking AZ State Credit Union to reverse the fees that were completely valid on their end. Michelle looked into the situation and waived what fees she was able to. For her to waive any fees at all showed her dedication to her customers, as I said, this was not my banks fault. I was so impressed by her customer service that I actually began the process of switching from WF, and opened another account right then and there. Michelle is truly an asset to this branch, and has set the bar pretty high for my next trip in! read more

Usually long lines on the day you visit. Slow service as they have very few tellers. Follow restrictive rules to protect their own interests, over what the customer requests. As a member of OneAZ Credit Union you will begin to receive numerous credit card offers, loan offers, promotions of their new debit card, over-priced life insurance offers and letters spelling out all the services, that they will now bombard your mailbox and email box with. read more

The ATM at this bank sucks. It takes forever to log in and half of the time it won't accept deposits. On more than one occasion it has taken my money and not given me credit for the amount I deposited. The website for this credit union sucks too. As it turns out I tried making a deposit yesterday and after that was turned down I came home to check my account online and the website wasn't working. When I really need help I can't get anyone on the phone. I really want to know... Why should I keep banking with Az Credit Union when half of the time that I go there I can't accomplish what I went for? read more

I use the ASSCU like a bank. I've never borrowed money from them. But the service I've received at both branches in Flagstaff has been outstanding. Their charges aren't any higher than any other bank but the staff is friendly and courteous. Banks make a profit for their share holders. Credit unions make a profit and then share it with their customers, the share holders. I have no reason to switch banks. All my banking needs are adequately met by this local CU. read more

I lived in Flagstaff for over 10 years and when I first came to this quaint little mountain town this credit union made me feel at home. I had a checking and savings account here and was always reassured that my accounts and money were safe!! I was often notified by either phone or mail if there was any problems with regard to security breach (ex:Target), or suspcious activity on my account etc. I appreciated the tellers and the helpfulness of the staff :) I have recently moved out of state and before leaving spoke with Andrew in depth about best thing to do when moving he (AS ALWAYS) was more than happy to assist. I dealt with Andrew when he was still a teller and throughly enjoyed his outgoing personality, helpfullness and comptence in money matters. I highly recommend this credit union to any new N.A.U. students or new residents to Flagstaff, it will be hard to replace them in California. read more

Really, truly, horrible customer service. The tellers great - very friendly. Problem seems to lie with management in that they do not value your time at all and keep you waiting in line for unreasonable periods. They do not answer the phones or return calls. Additionally, I found the teller supervisor, Michelle, to be condescending and rude. She didn't even so much as fain an interest in trying to be of assistance. The overall policy of the organization seems to be to "stick it to you wherever, whenever, and however possible". Do yourself (and your zen) a favor and go somewhere else. HORRIBLE!!!! I have been a client there for the past 17 years and never had any problems until now! Karen at the Pinnacle Peak location in particular has no idea what good customer service is. She is rude in a very condescending way. I called debit cards to file a dispute and she insisted I write a letter to the PHX office even though I live in Flagstaff. So I did just that. Upon receiving my letter Karen called me to say that the debit card with the dispute had a different last name than what I signed the letter as. I told her yes, I got married 8 years ago and that card never changed but that is ok bc I still use both last names and have ID in both names. She insisted that I cannot do that (as if it was my fault that the bank never changed it and has sent me new cards for the past 8 years in that name). Then she told me to go into the branch to get a new card, I agreed and we ended the conversation. Then She called me back 20 minutes later to tell me she was shutting my debit card down so I HAD to go into the branch ASAP to get a new one. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER. What a horrible way to do business.
