I can't tell you how dissatisfied I am with Schwab, not only this branch, as well as, the Estate planning department, others via their 800 customer service number, the branch manager & Eric Moser (the VP of this branch), Which is perplexing in itself, as he is completely disconnected from his clients, I wondered how he even sits at the position he does. And Just over all Charles Schwab as a whole. Very long story short. My mother & father placed their trust years ago in Charles Schwab and their broker. In doing so, I am sure they thought they were placing their funds in the hands of professionals and to be professionally managed. Well, that's not always the case. My mom passed away, and my brother is "legally" the POA of my father's estate, and doing an outstanding job. My father's life was turned upside down after being married for almost 60 years. He has full time care, lots of family around, and seemingly in a good place. And fortunately, my dad did well for himself. Maintaining his lifestyle was never a question, even with 24/7 care which is in the tune of give or take $15,000 a month. Sadly, it's just without my mom. Fast forward to 2 months ago, yes, I said 2 months ago (so remember that). There's a lot , and I won't bore you with all. Yet, we are now dealing with, lazy, poor performance, mismanaged & uncaring employees at Charles Schwab, as well as an unscrupulous broker, and honestly at this point we are being taken advantage of. When Charles Schwab was informed my mother passed, they immediately locked my dad's account (mind you it's my mom & dads account). I understand the security aspect of it all. Yet, the hamster wheel my dad and brother are on due to the irresponsible humans working at Charles Schwab, it's absolutely ridiculous! I'm livid! And that's putting it lightly. I took my dad down to Charles Schwab twice to try and fix this issue, my brother has been there 3 times, and each and every time, it's "Oh you just need to sign this and get us that", yet when he signs, they then tell him "oh we need you to sign one more thing", this has gone on for almost two months! Once I went down and Eric was too anxious to even speak to me, what a professional. Can you imagine your broker not even speaking with you yet making money off you. Disgusting! MY DAD and My brother have been locked out for 2 FRICKEN MONTHS. Money has been lost due to not trading, my brother even called ERIC MOSRER (sp) and asked him to please sell a position, Eric said he would, yet forgot. Great job Eric! My brother was so upset, he said to me that day, we lost 60K. I told him NO, CHARLES SCHWAB lost us 60K - not you, not dad, Charles Schwab, Period I realize dealing with Schwab especially the last 2 weeks, they are unethical, misleading, and the breach of duty they have on their end to their clients, is damaged. A broker is beholden to Strick regulatory guidelines and ethical code that carry stiff penalties! I am really questioning their wrong doings. No one has acted with integrity here! I encourage anyone else affected to file as well. I was scammed using Zelle -- a growing issue across the country -- and even after providing solid documentation, Sun Community denied my claim without even trying to resolve it with Zelle. I was told that because I "authorized" the payment, it didn't qualify as fraud, despite the fact that I was tricked. They brushed off federal consumer protections (like Regulation E) and refused to take accountability. I've since filed a formal legal complaint and am taking the matter to Small Claims Court to fight for what I'm owed -- and to prevent this from happening to others. What hurts the most isn't the money -- it's the lack of care, responsibility, and basic customer support. I've closed my checking account and will be severing all ties once my balance transfer is complete. If you're looking for a credit union that protects and values its members, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

I did not knowingly sign up to finance my insurance premiums or agree to finance charges. Years later, after requesting my insurance records, I received transaction ledgers containing finance charges and installment-type entries that do not match how I remember paying my insurance. I have repeatedly requested the underlying payment history and documentation showing exactly how my payments were made and what authorization AAA relies upon to claim that I agreed to premium financing. This is particularly concerning to me because I specifically remember going into AAA offices and paying my insurance in full. If AAA claims that I elected to finance my premiums, I believe they should be able to produce the agreement or authorization showing that I actually chose that payment arrangement. Instead of receiving a clear explanation and complete documentation resolving these discrepancies, I have spent a tremendous amount of time trying to reconstruct my own payment history. I am not claiming that every employee at this branch was responsible for what happened. My review concerns my experience with the insurance policies and payments associated with AAA, including payments I made through the La Quinta office. Customers should keep their receipts and copies of every insurance payment they make. Based on my experience, I wish I had kept every single receipt from every year.

I have had my account for 15 years and never had a check bounce in or out of the account. My boss told me this morning the check had already cleared! They place holds on your money for arbitrary amounts so they can make interest on it for a week. This is indicative of how you will be treated as a customer at Altura. Yesterday it took me 8 MINUTES to deposit this check standing in front of the teller. The entire time she has her face buried in the screen. Plenty of time to tell me you are placing a ridiculous hold on my paycheck. But I don't rate as a customer enough to receive THAT information. At Altura, the bank is always right and the customer is always wrong. Do yourself a favor. Find a real bank.
