The cold brew here is absolutely exceptional. I like to drink my cold brew black (as my friend says-- because I'm chaotic) but I swear it's so smooth and flavorful here. I pick up some really pleasant fruit flavor to the cold brew. It's nuanced and complex and the perfect morning pick me up. I was quite surprised to find such a great specialty coffee purveyor in the office building of a medical building. It's conveniently located right when you enter, so if you have to search around for a parking space, just note that you'll be able to pop in very quickly. For those who like fancier drinks, they have lots of specialty drinks as well! My suggestion is to park on 3rd nearer to Central, or to park on San Pedro closer to the Little Tokyo side. The other way will take you into the busier Fashion District, and while it's Skid Row adjacent, you will only be there during busy commuting hours since they are only open Monday-Friday. I've been here a few times now and gotten the strawberry matcha, turkey brie sandwich, and a yuzu drink. All have been great! I tried one of the other sandwiches but didn't like it as much. Staff have always been kind and given me recommendations when I ask. They are also fairly quick with the orders, though there has never been a huge line when I go. They're located in the beautiful lobby of Ten Terrace, a high-end commercial bldg. This small coffee shop serves expertly crafted coffee drinks, including their bonsai cha matcha oat latte and honey peach blossom. A dream come true for customers. ;D Lol. They have a friendly and competent baristas that provide great service. I came on an early Thursday morning just as they open. It was my spontaneity that brought me here. Also, to have a pre-4th of July coffee adventure. I had a hot Honey Oat Latte, and I was chuffed with it. Moreover, I dig this coffee's cozy atmosphere and spotless shop. Great small business/cute coffee shop on the border of Little Tokyo! The menu consists of coffee, teas, and matcha lattes. They also have a selection of snacks and sandwiches. I tried their strawberry matcha latte and loved that for this drink, they don't up charge for soy milk. They hand whisked the matcha fresh for my order and really tried to scrape all of the matcha out of the bowl into my drink. Highly recommend this drink because the matcha is bright and fresh tasting and you can tell they use real strawberries for the puree. read more

This is a great little specialty coffee shop located in the lobby entrance of a big building....so you may not see a sign from outside. The things to note: the coffee is excellent. They use Kumquat coffee and all the espresso drinks I've tried are top notch. I might say this is the best coffee spot in this area...at least one of the best. I usually order Iced Oat Cappuccinos. Technically they're short Lattes. If you order an iced Cap they can't make it but they CAN make a latte with less milk....so we're good. Espresso tonic is delicious and refreshing. Not overly sweet...touch of tangerine . The other thing to note are the pastries. Also seriously good. I want more people to come just for the awesome scones and crescents. I don't want them to stop getting them. Not too many places with good european style pastries around this area. This place is worth it . read more

I love supporting small coffee businesses but I felt played with my recent purchase. I ordered and paid for a large Chicory Cold Brew, and was given a medium sized cup. They said the large Chicory Cold Brew is served in the same sized cup which definitely looks like a medium. All they did was just add more cold brew and less ice. $6 for a large, and all they did was add more cold brew and less ice? IMO that doesn't seem right. read more

small cute dainty cafe in dtla!! there's a few seating areas and it's not a crazy crowded cafe so if you need to study, i think it's a great place for that :') the service is fast and worker was kind and attentive to recommend drinks. i took the new orleans since the worker recommended it and it did not disappoint! i'm usually not a big fan of coffee but this one was it. would definitely want to come back to try other drinks as well! read more

This place is on the outskirts of Little Tokyo, inside of a medical center. It's quite a far distance from my work, but I'm willing to make the trek just for their matcha. Their matcha latte is one of the best I've tried in LA! You can see and taste the quality of the powder they use, and they make it to perfection! Perfectly smooth, and sweetened just enough to still let the matcha flavor shine. I've also tried their Honey Oat latte and it is incredible as well! Rushed over madly in search of the vanilla bean latte got a decent tasting latte but NO vanilla bean taste what so ever was so disappointed so many mid lattes around didn't want this to be one of them. I like the barista blend almond Milne they use but even the matcha was ehhhh. Everything was bland and forgetful the place itself has hard parking and is near skid row so if you aren't familiar with that area be aware also very small and hidden in what seems an apartment building? Wouldn't come back, nice service tho! More affordable too for sure paid 13:50 for two almond milk lattes as opposed to our usual 17-20$ in LA read more

Passed by a new coffee shop in Little Tokyo! The interior is beautiful and clean with an emphasis on natural materials like wood, marble, and greenery. The workers are the absolute sweetest and have definitely worked in coffee for awhile because they have a lot of industry knowledge. I was recommended the cappuccino which was super pretty and very well done. They also have a nice selection of loose leaf teas that range in caffeine level for the non-coffee people. Decided to check out this coffee shop based on the good reviews. When we first entered we were confused because the shop was in the section of a commercial building and it was pretty empty and quiet. The lady was very kind when taking our orders. I got a Cream Top Latte but I first noticed it didn't fill up the entire cup which was a bit disappointing. The coffee wasn't as good as I hoped--it tasted rather flat and a little bitter. The cream top saved it somewhat but it's not the same. Not exactly worth $6-7 but wanted to see what the hype in the reviews were about. It' was okay but I would spend the money elsewhere. read more
