Updating my review because we hired this truck for catering a party. Everyone was doing tacos…read morerecently and although we love tacos, we wanted to do something different. Plus there aren't many taco options for vegetarians. After trying this place at the Encino's Farmers Market, we enquired about catering for my 40th birthday. Price was reasonable and they were available, so we pulled the trigger. Of course, the guest list grew and we had to add more people. Luckily the addition was also reasonable (obviously more than tacos but different and bit more sophisticated). Our party started at 6PM, they arrived at 5:30 and basically just drove their truck into our driveway. They plugged into our outdoor outlet and were ready to rock and roll. Guests started to roll in and just went up to the truck to order. It was easy - no set up, no clean up. Everyone really enjoyed the crepes - we got both savory and sweet. So I personally had a chicken pesto crepe and got a strawberry nutella dessert crepe. Very great experience and appreciate their punctuality, flexibility and yummy crepes!!! They even provided gluten free dough, which was really cool!

I'm always craving crepes and this is the perfect dessert at the Granada Grubfest. They have savory crepes as well but we usually just go for their Nutella with strawberry and banana! Super good and a classic go to. The best part about this truck is that they also serve boba and it's actually good boba! Thai iced tea extra boba with my crepe. Glad to see them almost all the time at the Granada Grubfest! IG: @ammysalamii

We came back to this cafe b/c we love the food and coffee. This was our first time visiting on a…read moreSunday. While we were looking at the menu outside, there was an employee standing by the entrance, but we were never greeted or informed that there was a waitlist for dine-in seating. Since we've always ordered at the register and then found a table after, we did the same thing as usual. While I was placing our order, my sister sat at an empty table and was told to leave because there was an hour waitlist. We were genuinely confused b/c we had no idea there was a waitlist, and of course we immediately apologized & left the table. We felt terrible and offered to switch our order to takeout to avoid any inconveniences, the employee remained dismissive and rude throughout our interaction. I'm not sure if she thought we did it on purpose, but she took off with an attitude. We understand it's busy, it could be frustrating and stressful, but that interaction wasn't necessary, it was a clear misunderstanding and we asked switched to take out to avoid issues or taking someone else's spot. We also noticed other customers making the same mistake, which made it seem like the seating process wasn't clearly communicated. A simple greeting or letting customers know there was a waitlist before ordering would have completely avoided the misunderstanding instead being dismissive. I also don't recall seeing "please wait to be seated" sign or I'm not sure if we missed it ? Despite this experience, we still plan on coming back b/c we truly enjoy the food and the cafe itself. They do have great service, they did not give us any issues changing the order to take out. They understood it was a misunderstanding of the seating. It could have just been a bad day for that specific employee that was rude , but we just hope there can be better communication for customers in the future.

It's a great portion and has a good kick but not too spicy. The hubster enjoyed the green sauce chilaquiles and he added an egg to his. The ham and cheese empanadas were savory. The place has limited indoor seating and some outdoor seating. It's small and attracts a crowd for breakfast and brunch so there can be a bit of a wait. The decor inside is really cute. You order in the front and then find seating. They don't take your order at the table. Very big menu with lots of food options and drinks. Definitely a new go to for me.

Usually when we're in the area, there's this ridiculous line in front of this small shop, which…read moretends to deter us from visiting. However, after eating dinner tonight, we saw that the line for this place was lighter than usual, so we took the opportunity to try it out! I vaguely remember visiting Millet Crepe probably 15 years ago, and I believe I ordered the creme brulee, which was their bestseller (still is). I remember many years back thinking it was good, but I was either too full or I'm just not too crazy about creme brulee in general, so I didn't want to order that again this time. I suspect a lot of people come here for the first time, see that the bestseller is the creme brulee, order that one, and then say they're gonna try another flavor the next time and then don't come back until much later when they see the line isn't as long lol. That wasn't gonna be me this time around!! There were only about....idk 5 people in front of us during the crepe line wait. We waited about 10-15 minutes total. By the time we ordered, the line was a loooot longer. I think people were getting out of dinner and were thinking the same thing - that they wanted dessert. This visit, I ordered the matcha tiramisu with matcha ice cream. Hubby ordered the mango custard with vanilla ice cream. We scarfed up both cone shaped crepes in less than 5 minutes - and they were nice, light, and the perfect ending to Sunday chill dinner night out. I tried my husband's crepe, and I think I like the custard flavor more than the tiramisu flavor (which was more cream like). Overall, solid spot when the wait isn't long.

Millet Crepe is small. There's a bench outside for seating, a singular iPad for orders, and then you wait till they call your name and hand it to you through their door. The orders offer some customization which was a bonus and overall the crepe was enjoyable on a hot summer day.

We had not been back to MCC for about a year! It is still a great place for breakfast or brunch…read more There is still street parking and a lot near by behind the businesses on their side of the street. They still have indoor and outdoor seating. Near open on a weekend, they were not very busy and it was quiet like on our last visit. The lady who took care of us sad that she is the sister of the owners. She was super nice and very attentive. We got the quiche Lorraine and a banana-Nutella crepe again. The crepe had consistently good quality compared to our last visit and is still just as good to comparable crepe places. Still not many places make quiche and of those that do, even fewer make the dense and thick slice pie style MCC makes--which is the good and high quality type. The quiche was actually better than our last visit and while we do not know, it still seeks like they make it on site. You still need lactaide to eat if u r intolerant, but it's definitely worth it. Recommend you get fruit instead of salad with it. Since their food is so rich/caloric/comfort food, we cannot come here too often, but when you are in the mood for a treat, this is a great place to go! Definitely recommend to give them a try!

They also serve up delicious quiches, sandwiches, and French onion soup. I love the cafe's cozy and quaint atmosphere, and how friendly the staff all were. I've ordered their quiches and sandwiches to go before, and I've enjoyed each item I tried, especially the spinach goat cheese quiche and the caprese sandwich. I've been meaning to try their crepes for the longest time and luckily, I finally found the chance to dine in. I ordered the La Opera breakfast crepe, which came filled with eggs, cheese, onions, and avocado. It had the perfect balance of textures and flavors, with the thin crispy edged crepe cradling the savory filling. I loved how the richness of the eggs, cheese, onions, and avocado all complemented the delicate buttery taste of the crepe shell. All in all, Monsieur Crepe Cafe is a hidden gem and everything they make is fantastic. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Calm, quiet, 2 men were playing speed chess in a corner. This is definitely a spot you come to relax grab a crepe and enjoy your afternoon at. Our service was quick and the lady at the front who took our order helped us with our selection. Our crepe came out within 10 minutes as well. You walk up and order at the counter and then sit for the worker to bring your crepes out. There was only 1 worker at the time, luckily we were the only ones in, so it took a little while to bring out our crepes (understandably) yet not a one was warm. Every single crepe somehow both crunchy in parts and extremely chewy so I'm assuming the batter was overmixed and then overcooked. Nothing tasted particularly fresh, not to say it tasted old, more so neutral, and the fruits were skimpy with more toppings than stuffed. For the price tag vs the quality, I will not be back.
