Got the hawaiian bbq mix, huge portion, great value, good mac & cheese. The bbq were delish albeit a bit greasy, my tummy didnt feel too good afterwards. Nothing wrong with the food it was my typical reaction to greasy stuff

Ordered the $7 online special the "Aloha plate". Got one Hawaiian BBQ chicken aloha plate and one katsu chicken aloha plate. The katsu chicken was hot and crunchy. Their Hawaiian BBQ chicken was good in taste however it was warm at best. Both plates came with rice and salad. The salads were very fresh and nicely dressed. Overall for the $7 price it was well worth giving this place a try again. ***Solid 3.75 stars (See pics for reference).

close to home, clean and modern inside, quick service if you are not placing a catering order, and the pricing is average. Food is really good! our number one Hawaiian spot in Fremont!

I tried this spot for lunch the other day, first time for me. Walked in around 12 noon and wasn't too busy. After quickly looking over the menu, I opted for the 2 meat plate which comes with rice and a side salad. The "fire chicken" was being promoted, so I decided to give it a try. I went with the katsu as my second for a safe bet. They have dispensers for katsu sauce and teriyaki sauce. The katsu sauce was much better in my opinion, the teriyaki was a bit too thick and over powering. - Fire chicken 10/10. Damn, this was some of the most flavorful chicken I've ever had. Tender and juicy, with a very vibrant red sauce. The flavor was sweet, tangy, and also spicy. It was very well balanced and the favor did not lose effect with each next bite. It did come with thick cut onions, they were a bit too raw for my taste, but no big deal as this chicken was insanely good. - Chicken katsu 8/10. It was good but nothing too special. Your basic katsu you'll find at all the hawaiin bbq spots. Absolutely needs katsu sauce as the breading is very dry and crunchy. The side salad is decent, fresh and has favor. Rice was hot and pairs will with meats that have a lot of sauce to soak up. Overall, good quality and tasty food, though I think the prices are a bit high overall.

Always reliable fast and good when I'm in Fremont for work. I prefer the kalua pork which is moist and very little fat. They let me get all rice. The katsu chicken was a bit dry so I don't get that anymore. I also always get a Hawaiian Sun which is a treat for me. Sometimes I eat there and the lights are all LED and other times to go. Easy to park.

I'm surprised that I've never been coming here for over a couple years I believe. This is usually my go to places for Hawaiian food. I've been going here for years and the food is quite amazing. The food is nicely grilled and the vegetables especially the lettuce tastes as fresh as it can get. For a restaurant that has multiple locations, the inside isn't quite bad, but it doesn't often get crowded as people usually do takeouts.

Came here on a Sunday night and it wasn't busy. I ordered the bbq and katsu mix and it was delicious! The portion was pretty big and I opted for 2 Mac salads and 1 scoop of rice. The meat was cooked really well and the teriyaki sauce was amazing. The service was pretty great too as we got our food in less than 15 minutes.

Ordered through Uber for delivery. Food came and the chicken katsu was still crispy. I bit into it and realized why. It's majority breading... food is good, but can not believe the skimpy amount for the price paid.

Sold me a pie with no filling. Still looking for my refund. The food was "okay". Manager won't come to phone.

I'm not sure why this specific location of Ono only has a 3-star rating. it's probably the best hawaiian food spot in the area and the food is always consistently good

Love the value of this special item...$7.75 for 2 scoops of rice, fresh salad and loaded with fresh white fish seasoned perfectly with a slight kick...this price only till 5/15 so y'all need to go get yours soon...

This specific location's having a really great BOGO running until the second week of September, which is how I got to try this. The katsu's nice and crispy, and really pairs perfectly with the available sauce. It's an insane amount of food for one plate (14.99), so be prepared to split it with others! The Mac salad is amazingly refreshing cold and the steamed vegetables underneath are mildly sweet, which is nice. The chicken was slightly chewy, but the juiciness made up for it. My siblings and I brought it home from take-out and it was still crispy and warm. Definitely a good, reasonably priced joint for lunch- especially if there's a deal!

We ordered Hawaiian BBQ chicken and chicken katsu. Chicken is very tender and nicely seasoned. Portion is big. The restaurant also provides free flow of teriyaki and katsu sauce. Spam musubi is classic. Great place for a quick meal!

Every brisket, rib, and pulled pork shoulder is smoked for hours over real oak and apple wood. And you can taste it in the tenderness of the meat. The brisket is rich, smoky, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The pulled pork is packed with flavor and practically falls apart with every bite. The ribs are juicy, perfectly seasoned, and pass the pull test every single time. This is my first time having burnt ends and they were bursting with savory flavor but doesn't taste burnt at all. I mean, plenty of parking in the parking lot and plenty of seating inside and this place was not busy when we arrived. Despite it not being packed, service took a while to notice us at the door, to acknowledge us at our table, and to take our order. I can't blame them - the two people that I saw working definitely looked a bit frazzled, but still tried to keep an upbeat attitude. My husband and I opted for the wolf turds (stuffed jalapenos), 1 meat combo (brisket), the banana pudding, and to be honest I forgot what my husband got but the meat on his plate was more tender than the brisket I received. I appreciated their selection of sauces on the table because the meat on both plates were pretty bland. The mac and cheese was cold, but not the worse I've ever had, and the corn bread was dry. The banana pudding was thick, but delightful. Overall, it's a huge pass on the bbq for me, but I've heard good things about their key lime pie.

As soon as you walk in, you're surrounded by the pleasant aroma of smoke and grilled meats cooking over the open grill. The interior is thoughtfully decorated, with street art covering the walls that makes the place feel like you've been transported somewhere far from where you actually are--especially considering it's located in a simple shopping center in Fremont. It actually reminded me of eating skewers in Asakusa, which is a nice feeling to get from a local spot. It's a fun place to grab some drinks, order a bunch of skewers, and just enjoy the atmosphere. The house special fried rice is crack albeit a little pricey ($13.99 compared to regular white rice at $2.49/bowl) but they pack it with a lot of different ingredients. It's perfect with some veggies like the chive skewers. We also loved the classic beef and lamb (minimum order of two) and lamb belly (comes in two skewers). The cut on the lamb belly is smaller than the classic lamb. The Taiwanese sausage, bbq pork with garlic, and tofu wraps (comes in ten skewers) were also delicious. Only skippable thing was the a-choy. The flavors weren't too spicy and they have a lot of drink options. Service was relatively quick but sometimes confusing in the order that it comes out. We ordered everything at the same time but the chives came out first and the a-choy came out last? Plenty of parking in the plaza; friendly (enough) service. It's a plus if you know Mandarin lol. I came in mostly curious about the skewers, but the cold noodles ended up being the surprise highlight. Cold Noodles If you're on the fence about cold noodle soup -- get this. The broth is lightly tangy and deeply refreshing without being overly sweet or vinegary. The noodles had the perfect bite, and the sliced cucumber added crunch and brightness. Topped with two soft-boiled eggs and fresh cilantro, it was simple but extremely satisfying. On a hot day, this hits the spot in a way hot ramen just can't. And even though it's light and chilled, it's still filling. Grilled Skewers There were a lot of unique options and cuts -- lamb, chicken, beef, and more. Each skewer was well seasoned and cooked properly, with a good char but never dry. The flavors leaned slightly smoky with a hint of spice, and the meat was tender.
