Our son ordered a Double Char Cheeseburger Meal. Our Char Cheeseburgers were cooked just right and tasty. Their Single Char Cheeseburgers are the right size for my wife and I. Our son prefers to order a Double Char Cheeseburger, since he's got a good appetite. Their fries are always hot and are just the right amount of crispiness. Feel free to help yourself to ketchup and more soda, if you like. Their service is always quick and the staff are friendly. The restaurant is typically fairly quiet too. I stopped going to Habit for too long and decided to come back here. The atmosphere has somewhat changed with how the furniture is set up as well as the menu. I did see prices gone up, but that's the least of my concerns. Honestly, I could have come back here a bit more often, but was busy dining in newer places. I love how Habit is being consistent in terms of food and service while they changed the atmosphere. In my opinion, it's better than how it usually was, which seems to be more old fashioned. It's like we're getting closer to the shore or something. They also replaced the soda fountain machine, which is better than the one they usually have. Their fries are thin and crunchy, very similar to SoCal style of fries or beach fries. They offer many different types of meats, and fish styles. Their food is a good deal on the app. Place is self-service, but if you want an employee they also serve for cash. Their take out section is really helpful. I can't pass up such a good discount and decided to swing by and use the coupon since I haven't had Habit in a long time. [[ The Good ]] The location is in the Pac Commons Central Area where Krispy Kreme / T-Mobile / Crumbl is located and right on the corner. It's a pretty decently sized restaurants with a lot of seating. It was also very clean in my opinion. I ordered fries ($3.99) and the Double Char Burger with Cheese (free ~$10) and used the coupon. Habit is not skimpy with the portion sizes and I thought the burger was quite large, juicy and had a good amount of fries. I was a satisfied customer after finishing my meal. We ordered one of the family meals, 2 fries, 2 onion rings, 2 chicken sandwichs, and 2 cheeseburgers, and a salad. We arrive and the food wasn't ready, okay it was a kind of early ish order they just opened 30 min prior. There was a glitch on the mobile app and I let them know I couldn't add the sauce flavoring to the chicken sadnwiches so could they add it now and the worker said no. She said i Have to eat it plain now otherwise she'll charge me per sauce even though each chicken sadnwich comes with a sauce selection (either bbq or teri), so instead we got DRY chicken cuz I didn't want to pay additional. (btw we couldn't even add the onions or any toppings) We get back home about 20 min with freeway traffic and notice they've forgotten the salad. After calling the regular habit line (corporate) they tell us to call the location and no one answers... EVER. Finally get through to coporate again and they say just go show up and they'll give us the item... so another long drive out and the same worker lady keeps saying there's no salad it doesn't come with the meal. After arguing with my husband another employee says is it this one that's on the counter? That's been sitting there for probably an hour at this point when we had ORIGINALLY picked up our meal. My husband said she practically tossed it at him and said "here". Def not the most customer friendly place and if it was closer it wouldn't have been a big deal to go back (it was a garden salad with ranch). But the arguing and the blame being constantly being put on us def makes us not want to come back here again. Inside is super neat and clean, everything was well stocked. The dragonfruit limeade is soo good! (If you like sweet) Which I do lol. The banana milkshake was a good treat as well! This is my second time eating at this specific habit location and BOTH times I've gotten sick from eating here. It's so disappointing because I work in the area and I love the habit. The Habit in Pacific Commons Shopping Center, Fremont California, used to be a good place. Things have changed drastically beginning with you can no longer call the restaurant directly. Calls are routed to an offsite ordering center. The person I spoke with said I must contact DoorDash to find out what was going on with an order that I placed at paid for. DoorDash informed me that the Habit location cancelled my order 35 minutes after I placed it. This coincidentally was the projected delivery time. The reason given for the cancellation was "restaurant is too busy". They accepted my money when the order was placed so I would think this puts the burden on them to meet the order. This is spectacularly bad public relations and I intend to make sure this incident is well known. read more

Went in tonight to get a take-out order for my family and left several items out of the bag that were ordered and clearly listed on the receipt stapled to the outside of the bag. I called the store number and after ten minutes, spoke with a woman from an off-site call center. There is no way to reach the store. She suggested that I return to the store and I told her that I already spent time driving to and from the store the first time, didn't have more time to spend driving, and just wanted a credit. I went to this Habit grill on the day the window cracked and imploded. It was quite scary but it was interesting to say the least. Anyhoo, the food was really good as always! Came to the habit for Lunch today with a friend. What has happened? The burgers are so small now. They don't look much bigger than the size of a standard McDonalds burger. $19 for a Burger, fries and milk shake. It's a lot.
