The chicken is greasy and old, it does not Taste fresh, and hard to chew. There should be a law against people who try to poison you with old food, for profit.

I've never tried this place before , my expectations weren't high at all.. but I was in the mood for this kind of food so I rolled the dice on this place.. Nice size portions of Katsu chicken.. white rice, macaroni salad and a good serving of cabbage hiding under my chicken.. it was all very tasty and satisfying.. it was a really good treat and priced right! I will definitely be back!

We went in to try out this branch. Same clean restaurant. The place wasn't packed so we got our orders in for BBQ Chicken and BBQ Beef. The orders came out fast but noticed that the portions from this branch are smaller the kitchen only scattered the portions to make it look like it's a lot. Comparing this to the store on Lakewood in Downey. We are not coming back to this branch anymore.

Beyond disappointed with the quality of food we were given on our last visit. I stopped in Saturday night 11/9 and picked up a Hawaiian chicken plate and a Half Katsu/Hawaiian chicken plate. When I got home I was in for surprise as they gave me what looked like leftover pieces of chicken that had been reheated and dried up. The chicken katsu was still pink and not edible. The veggies were cold. Just very disappointed with the food they gave as I know they wouldn't eat this themselves. Has been our go to spot for many years and today was just a shame.

The food altogether was a 7/10. The chicken was rather dry so I had to shower it in their sauce to get it down. The portions were fair but for what it's worth, this would probably be a one and done trip for me. I'd say the employees were rather nice which saved face for the spot but ultimately everyone is there for the food. They have some tables you can dine inside if you wish.

I think this is my new favorite Hawaiian chain as their portions to cost ratio is excellent. I wanted some island classic comfort food in yet another day of rain in Southern California, so I went with the chicken katsu and kalua pork. I got the aloha plate so it came with rice and a delicious sesame/miso dressing salad. Service was good so I'll definitely be coming back to try their mac salad and spam musubi to see how their side orders come out when I just want some type of quick eats.

Customer service was easy and fast. Eating area is clean and neat. Plenty of customers coming in on this Sunday afternoon. Food is hot and delicious! Many walk in to pick up orders. Overall a positive experience! Come in and eat here!

My Uber eats driver took off with half my order, but these guys here helped be get everything straight and even showed me how they packed my order and who did it. Awesome customer service. Will keep coming here. Thanks for the great customer service.

If it weren't for the very loud music playing, I would not have known this was a Mexican restaurant. We ordered Fish and Shrimp Ceviche tostadas, but it was ok not the best I ever had. Tostadas had more Cucumbers and Tomatoes than Fish or Shrimp, and to make it worse, it was soaked in some kind of unidentifiable watery juice which made the hard Tostada soggy. What prompts M E Perihuete to soak a hard Tostada shell with water? unbelievable! The Chilaquiles were bad. They were so spicy I could not taste my food. Overall, the service was bad the lady who served us was busy laughing and giggling with the male customers instead of attending to her tables. I have to say the obvious about the waitresses here, to be as nice as I can put it, their lips stand out as plungers, the chest, and behind well, so obvious they were not normal... The service was bad and the food was not the best. Pricey. Plenty of parking.

For a party of four, we ordered: SHRIMP LOVER COMBO, LOBSTER ROLL, SIDE OF RICE, BASKET OF SEASONED FRIES, AND MAD DOG XXX SAUCE on the side. Portion-wise, we left comfortably full and only slightly questioning our life choices. The Shrimp Lover Combo can't be modified. We chose Stinkin' Special and Spicy, which came with a plastic glove so you can dig in like a civilized gremlin. The Stinkin' Special was a generous blasts of Old Bay and enough garlic to ward off vampires. The Mad Dog sauce wasn't shock-your-soul spicy, but it definitely lingered. I was still feeling its friendly burn hours later and well into the evening. The LOBSTER ROLLL was tasty but fleeting. It's one of those dishes that makes you realize the meal is almost over right when you're hitting peak satisfaction. A little emotional damage there. We wrapped it all up with deep-fried Oreos and ice cream, which was an instant win. Sweet, cooling relief after all that heat.
