We came in to fix a leak that was on the passenger side floor and we agreed to have services they recommended to be fix because as consumers we are not educated on how to fix a passenger floor leak. In the end the leak was never fixed and we communicated that with Thui and she replied as if we offended her because they didn't fix our car. Not only that she wanted to charge us more to do something else when at first they should've fixed the issue in the first place. They assumed we spilled water from a water bottle they saw on the floor just because it was half full but the water cap was intact. This company is manipulative and misleading and horrible to work with even after we tried communicating and disputing with the bank. I actually work at the bank Thuy claimed the credit card company ruled in their favor. What was done was a dispute. Not a fraud claim. There was a pre arbitration sent to the merchant where the merchant rejected it. So the dispute was denied due to the merchant not "credit card company siding with member" We explained that we do not know how to fix a wet passenger side leak and for her company to recommend and replacing thermostat, 4 heater hoses, heater hoses r&r and engine coolant thermostat r&r all of a sudden we're ignorant and have selective listening when we're not auto mechanics but trusted their recommendations on fixing the cause of why we brought in our car. None of the statements I made were false from my experience and you are more than welcomed to proceed with any legal action you see fit. By the sound of your reply I hope other customers see the attitude even after we tried communicating with you amicably. read more

Just recently had my car serviced here and the service was excellent. My car is a 2006 so many things needed to be done, but Vu the expert mechanic took his time and replaced all that was NEEDED. Most mechanic shops I've been to tried to up-sale their service/part replacement when it's not even needed....Vu took the extra time to sent me pictures of broken/worn parts so I know first hand what needs to be replaced. Prior to all repairs Vu let me know what needs to be repair and how much it'll cost. So I can decide to move forward with the repair or not, unlike some places where they just repair everything THEY THINK need to be replaced and slaps you with a bill that costs an arm and leg. This was my first time here and def will be coming back. Vu is a very ethical mechanic and has fair prices. I normally don't leave reviews, but this is a must !! I never thought I'd do a great review on an auto place but these guys hooked me up. I was referred by the guy I bought my car from. My transmission was having major issues and I have a warranty on my car so I took it to Ken Vu. Ken Vu is a very helpful and friendly guy and his wife (I assumed it was his wife) also helped out with customer service. There was some issue getting the parts he needed but the good part was I got towing covered, I got a free rental from their lot for the time my car was there. I may be a special case but I walked off the lot paying 100 bucks and some change. Car is still running well and he even recommended I get an alignment and a few other tips. Somewhat ironically this place is far from where I actually live but I would drive to Escondido just to have them work on it again. read more

I was very confident in my car being taken of at this location that when my car broke down 4 miles away I had it towed. My car was starting but would not stay on. I am not a mechanic so I took it to them. They were absolute they could take care of it and asked me to leave it there. It took several days for them to finally say what they THOUGHT it was. First it was we can't figure it out the mechanic is taking it apart and everything in your car is in great shape, 2001 honda civic lx. The diagnoses they gave it was my ECU COMP. They kept repeating that they would not charge for new fuses my car need (ok). They removed the original and tried 3 new ECU COMP they said they had a trusted electrician who works on these things to rewrite the keys and comp to work and I should be good, price approx 600 w my towing. After the third try they called me and said NO CHARGE but we cannot fix this. You will have to take it somewhere else. Baffled, I end up picking my car up and it's in worse shape. It now does not read my keys and doesn't even START! Confidence and any trust I had in this car/repair shop is gone. Thanks for nothing. read more
