what can you say or think about a place specialized in computer repair? THEY ERASE ALL YOUR INFORMATION and they don't even take care or responsibility for the damage caused!!! Well, this happened to me at the beginning of this year. I trusted this place because I thought it was professional, but I found untrained personnel who make mistakes and nothing happens... This place was good but it isn't anymore, it's obsolete.... you have to be careful because INFORMATION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING AND HERE THEY DON'T CARE, THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO TO RECOVER IT... No doubt, this is a stand up company. I was having issues with an external hard drive and was referred here by another tech company. I arrived with my problem external hard drive and met with the owner. He was very friendly and professional, and it was obviously he cares about his business of 30+ years. He took a quick look at the hard drive, and he was honest enough to show me it was a problem with my personal computer and not the hard drive. He could have easily charged me the full price I was prepared to pay for the hard drive repair, and I would have never known. Instead he was honest with me and sent me on my way, free of charge. We have been using this company for many years. Scott Henke, the founder and owner, has been incredibly responsive, informative, and anxious to help with even the most minor of computer problems. I brought in my 5 year old Dell P.C. which was running on Windows 7 Home Premium because I was advised(as were all of Onsite's customers) to update to Windows 10 by the end of this year as 7 will no longer be supported. 6 hours later, the update was done and I was quickly up and running with no hitches whatsoever. They even provided an installer for our Epson Printer on the desktop because sometimes the printer didn't synch. with some customers after the upgrade, yet for us, the printer worked right away without even needing the installer. Scott and his crew are as honest and straightforward as they can be about your computer and the need (or lack of need!) for repairs. He's worked on lots of our machines, but about a year ago my laptop was shutting down randomly. It seemed like it was too hot, so I took it in to have the fan replaced. They did replace it at my request, but warned me that the motherboard might be getting ready to give up the ghost. I'm pleased to say the new fan fixed the problem, but the best part is that when they tell you "you need a new computer," it's NOT because they want to sell you one. Instead, they give you tips about what to buy and send you to a retailer. Went here today to have them look at my hard drive as It lost power while I was working. They looked at immediately and it turned out to be a very minor issue. I was so afraid I'd have to leave it and go into the office to work. With Covid 19 it wasn't going to be something I wanted to do. I was out of there within 15 minutes! I started using Scott when he was consulting while still a Junior High teacher. I have seen the business grow from working out of his home to it's present size. I started with PCs which i used for work and now that I am retired have all Apple products in our home. They have bailed us out many times when we thought we had a much bigger problem than they found. I have always had prompt and courteous service. For a while we had to have them come out to our house to help with networking, etc. Now it seems more likely they can remote in and deal with our issues. Everyone is someone you would like to work with at Onsite. I have never been disappointed by their service. My most recent larger service was to have the hard drive in my 7 year old IMac replaced with a solid state drive. It is like a new computer and only cost $200. No data was lost and I was up and running as soon as I got home. For a while the Apple store was very helpful with problems but they have gone in a different direction so I am happily back with Onsite for all my issues. Apple really doesn't want to bother with individual help. If I had to go back to a PC I would have them do everything including the security issues! read more

The entire staff is always, always helpful, patient and very eager to go above and beyond. This time around, I was having issues which didn't get resolved with our first remote session. Robert worked with me AFTER HOURS to make sure everything was fixed, as he knew he was fully booked the following day. WHAT??? Who does that these days? I encountered a problem with my laptop today due to an issue with a temporary profile created as a result of a Microsoft update. The issue blocked my ability to access any of my files and folders. I stopped in to onsite to drop off my laptop and a tech named Robert helped me. He took a couple minutes to diagnose the problem, made a couple adjustments and rebooted the laptop twice. Much to my surprise, he was able to restore my laptop and getting running in just a few minutes. When I asked about the charges, he simply said "no charge" which surprised me because I was a new customer and they did not owe me anything. This company used to be great, however, they have grown quickly and now feel their customers are expendable. This, after we have spent close to $1000 in repair and buying other products this year. Two days ago I took a new HP laptop in to have it prepped, transfer antivirus from my old computer, and add malware software. For this I took in the old and new computer with their power cords. When they were returned the HP power cord was incorrect. We called and they offered to bring me my cord. What they brought was an aftermarket power source. I returned it saying I wanted my OEM equipment. Scott the owner first told me I didn't bring in the power cord, then said he didn't have it and that proved I didn't bring it in, stated it was not in the box, then asked to search my car for it. I told him I did bring it in, it was good my item was not in a box because I brought it in without a box, and if they didn't have it they could replace it with OEM. His response was, "We have enough customers so you need to find another computer service provider." Ultimately they gave me a used replacement HP power cord. Scott then told me when I apologized he would consider allowing me back. At this point you can imagine what I told him to do. read more
