They made multiple appointments with me, cancelled on a whim and did not even tell me until I called to confirm appt. I lost so much money by cancelling clients. To abuse customers during this very difficult time for all of us is incomprehensible and they did it multiple times. I would wait for 4 hours, clear my schedule, losing very precious income only to have them tell me at 7:00PM that they would not be there, that they ran out of time. They exaggerate what is wrong with your computer telling you it will take hours when it is a simple fix. "THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE'. They send what they call technicians out to you that have to "read the directions as to how to fix your computer" all the time using up the very expensive time you are paying for. Then the company argues with you and turns it around to gaslight you and tell you "it was your fault". We are all struggling enough right now but to have a company exploit you, lie to you and abuse you is not acceptable and I lost over $500 in my dealings with Karl's Technology and now I am out all that money and my computer my brand new lap top is "unfixable" and has been for the last 6 months that this has gone on. He appears distracted and then I was billed with an increase of his hourly rate of $55 per hour which was outrageous! I found out through my neglect that the backup has not been working since early March which was supposed to have been repaired. I had a new IT guy today and he really knew his stuff! I no longer use Windows 7 for my backup as it was getting stopped due to a trojan virus through Windows defender. Windows defender was supposed to have been shut down. I now use a different drive and the new windows backup which only backs up anything new and every hour. I can also see everything in the data history file. Prices were increased without notice due to the increased fuel costs but his work was only remote. Does not make sense to me. I tracked my time and paid at the older hourly rate vs the new hourly rate. I would not recommend Colorado Computers, just my opinion!
