I traveled to the area for a music festival and was pleased with the accommodations. I initially booked a room at a different hotel, but booking.com canceled my reservation a week out from the event. Luckily, Ontario Inn & Suites had a couple rooms available and I picked one up for around the same price as my dropped booking. Overall, it's a solid little spot. It's very budget-friendly, but cozy and quiet. The recently-renovated rooms proved to be a comfortable place to get our rest ahead of the large event and crash out after a long day. I was impressed by the cleanliness and charm of the motel grounds. The view from our front door included some beautiful hydrangeas and a view of the mountains. Breakfast is provided in the lobby and is about standard hotel breakfast fare: pre-packaged waffles, cereal dispensers, and a bowl of fruit. They provide coffee in the lobby as well and the staff is more than happy to make a fresh pot if the dispenser happens to be out. They also have a washing machine/dryer and two vending machines on-site with affordable snacks ranging from $1.50-2.00. The only gripe I had about the room's accommodations is that the offerings don't appear to be updated on the website. We believed that we would be getting a room with a coffeemaker and mini-fridge, but our room had a microwave instead of a coffeemaker. The microwave ended up being preferable for us, but it did throw us for a loop. Also, the pool isn't much to look at. It's a little larger than a hot tub and visibly needed to be cleaned. Ontario Inn & Suites' location turned out to perfectly suit my needs. It's located in a decent little neighborhood and is within walking distance of a grocery store and a few fast food options. Driving north on Central from the hotel leads you to reasonably-priced gas stations, another grocery store, major shopping centers, restaurants, and the 10. I was able to pick up last-minute essentials from the nearby Target and was on the 10 west in no time. I imagine that it would be a really convenient spot to stay for a couple days while visiting the LA area, too! Even though I wasn't sure what to expect going in blind and not seeing any reviews from the past year, I was pleasantly surprised. It's not luxury, but it's a really nice room for the price and it's insanely convenient. That's all I ever really want while traveling anyway. I will stay here again. read more

Horrible customer service. I called before showing up with all of my things (Ubered) and when I show up I'm quoted 179 instead of the 129 they literally just told me on the phone. When I expressed the discrepancy the older Indian lady at the front said phone quotes are always given as "129" so they must do this often to people. So she tells me to wait until 2 pm to pay the 129. Or to go somewhere else because there's plenty of other hotels I don't "HAVE" to stay at theirs. And she continues to tell me "but u can't wait here until 2 pm you need to leave" as I've already called another uber and explained to her if I was never misquoted over the phone, I would've never showed up! Fast forward to the next morning it's not even 11 am and the cleaning ladies barge into my room to gather the towels and the bedding (IM STILL IN THE ROOM TRYING TO PACK UP MY BELONGINGS) I would NEVER recommend this property. It's dirty, cheap, and the staff here are inconsiderate, greedy, lazy, and RUDE above all else. If I could leave a 0 Star Rating, trust me I would. read more

Came into the room and noticed that the sheets were very think and it was stains on the pillow cases The next morning I called and asked for towels and the guy at the front desk told me I had to come to the office from the back just to get a towel because they cleaning ladies are working and they don't bring towels and they just got to work at 11AM. What cleaning ladies come at 11AM? That's pretty late and that's actually when checkout is. They don't have late checkout so you have to checkout at 11AM. The room on Travelocity was $94 I was charged $140 for one night & once I got to my room the shower or phone didn't work plus I seen 2 roaches in my room then there was loud music playing until 3AM beneath me followed by arguing Then Once morning came I was woken up by arguing and doors slamming in the room next to me, then even though I woke up at 1030 before check out already & had all my things neat for housekeeping they wouldn't let me extend my stay or even rebook after they said to come back at 3PM because of housekeeping, when I came back they said they were fully booked even though multiple sites said they had rooms available, after I left a man and women pulled in to get a room and I stayed and watched as they were able to get a room. WARNING: This hotel is horrible. The room had zero toilet tissue or towels so they obviously don't expect guests to use the restroom, wash their hands, or shower. The internet and cable didn't even work. What a joke! There's even a sign at check in saying the internet doesn't work. The pics on the internet are accurate, but other than that, horrible hotel. After checking in I called the front desk asking for toilet tissue, a lady brought ONE roll of tissue for our 4 night/5 day stay. She had it sitting on top of her food as she stepped off the elevator. Later, after spending the entire day in the sun, I returned to the room and noticed we had no towels. There was no answer when I called the front desk or housekeeping so I went down to the front desk. The young man working explained to me and the guest checking in that he was the only employee there and was checking in guests, helping with luggage, cleaning the rooms, washing the laundry, and everything else!!! He informed me that the hotel had NO CLEAN TOWELS and that he was washing some at the moment. He apologized profusely but said he was doing the best he could. Later, I went down again and he told me he'd just put towels in the dryer and would bring them to me. He said he'd add my room number to the "list". We woke up this morning: still NO TOWELS. I had to be in L.A. for 8:00 a.m. so I had to get dressed with the same funk, sweat, and dirt on my body from the day before!!! At least there would be free breakfast, right? Another joke. An EMPTY crockpot, a bowl of raisins, a bowl of brown sugar, some dollar store mini-muffins, frozen bananas that were brown, a carafe of o.j., a carafe of milk, and yogurt. Oh, and a dispenser with cereal! I would never recommend this place. I never write reviews but I need to on this one. I arrived late about 11pm and checked in. When I gave the man at the window my ID he told me my picture doesn't match me. I explained to him it was obviously me which was annoying. He gave me my room key. I opened the door and the room and bed was messy. I told him the bed wasnt made or anything and he gave me another room key. My final room was clean a basic standard room. I mostly just wanted to take a bath but the tub was dirty just needed to be scrubbed down a bit like they never actually clean it. I showered with my sandals on because it grossed me out. The area around is okay. But there were car alarms honking cars and sirens all night. It was so loud and I sleep well at night. For paying 70 plus dollars for a basic hotel room I'm disappointed and frustrated with my experience. read more

Yeah I wish I would've saw the reviews for this before I stayed. Maybe I could do this room 20 yrs ago but not today. The room I got was maybe the last room they had available or something because it was horrible. Door looked like it good kicked in by the police. You can tell they don't wash the bathroom. The covers are so thin might as well not cover yourself and the mattress was garbage. This is a lovely, quiet motel. I needed a place to stay for a week while taking a class at a Claremont College school. The rooms are clean, the staff is amazingly friendly and kind. There is a pool, though I never used it. The area is quiet! I never felt unsafe, even traveling alone. If you need a no-frills, clean and quiet place to "land" for resting and such I can't recommend this location enough. I was referred to the another location, but it was full. Based on friends' reports, I got the much nicer arrangements. The continental breakfast isn't fancy. This is the worst motel me and my girlfriend ever stayed in! We came from a long way from L.A. to have a nice place to sleep after a long day at the opening of the L.A. County Fair, and this place is not nice at all! I only made a reservation for one night and when I came in late around midnight, this Indian dude told me to come earlier like it's his business after he told me that I could clock in late anytime, thinking I'm not going to clock out on time! So, right when we went into a nice renovated room, I happened to find our toilet clogged up with tissue papers and wrappers that have been there for I don't know when! The Indian manager complained about it when I told him, saying that he believes us, but he really didn't! He said he haven't rented this place out to anybody before we came, but how did a bunch of tissues get clogged up if nobody haven't rented the room?! Think about it! He switched us to a dirty room with stains on the pillows, the sheets, the bathtub, everywhere! I politely asked the manager for the inconvenience, can I get a discount or some of the money back, and he got smart with me, saying it's the best he can do, saying that it's not inconvenience since he switch us to a different room which is dirty, which means that he doesn't care about the service here! Even the pool is too small that we didn't even have time to get in, anyway! I even have pictures showing proof on how dirty the rooms are and how it's infested with molds and bed bugs and who knows what else, which should be good enough proof on highly recommending anybody not to never, ever, ever, stay at this place! This is not the very worst motel I've ever stayed at, but it's in the top 2 or 3. Where to begin? 1. There was a prostitute checking in when I got there. That's fine. I have nothing against sex workers. 2. But I DO have a problem when the motel where sex work is happening doesn't bother with basic cleanliness. The sheets in my room were stained and dirty. I don't think they had been changed. There were hairs in the bed when I pulled the bedspread down. Hairs and stains. The bedspread had cigarette holes. Moving on to the bathroom: THERE WAS A COCKROACH. There was old crusted soap in the bathtub. There were HAIRS in the bathtub, stuck to the drain. I was so exhausted after a night of driving, that I just asked the guy at the front desk for clean sheets. At first, he said no, because he couldn't leave the front desk, and so I told him I didn't want HIM to change the sheets, to just give ME clean sheets so I could change them myself, so then he gave me ONE ... ONE clean sheet. The pictures make the motel look like your basic run-of-the-mill motel, but it's absolutely disgusting. Again, this isn't the absolute worst motel I've stayed in, but the only one that comes close is this place I stayed in in Southeast Asia for five bucks a night. This place cost almost $100 a night making it an overpriced, disgusting, crust-filled, hair-filled, roach-infested nightmare. Save your money and travel 10 miles east on the 10 freeway and stay at one of the cheaper and cleaner options near the Ontario airport. read more

The check-in guy (owner??) was very accommodating. Stayed over Memorial Day weekend. Decent rate ($60 something). Frig didn't get very cold. Continental breakfast only available from 7-9am. Wish they'd extend it. Also, they made a mistake and forgot we were there for 2 nights. They assigned out room to someone else. The new travellers walked in on us IN OUR ROOM with their own key. We promptly told them to get out. Wonder what would have happened if we weren't there. Our keys were deactivated. We had to go to office and get keys activated again and remind them that we were there for 2 nights. But besides that, the room was decent. Neat, clean. Not fancy or new, but good enough. Location also close to Mission Tiki Drive-In! Yea! See a double feature for $7 on a large digital screen. Will book again when back in town. read more

Came up here for the memorial day weekend to bowl two tournaments nearby at Bowlium Lanes. The place gets a 4 star only because I was a little dumbfounded about their early check in fee. Who charges 15 dollars. I was done bowling and arrived around 2 pm. Figuring i can check in early and rest up. Find out they charge 15 dollars to check in early. No other hotel anywhere does that. This is the most filthy disgusting establishment I have ever stayed in. I travel often and have stayed in many hotels. I made this purchase on hot wire where they had some good reviews. Obviously those had to be fake. From the mold and scum in the shower to the nasty toilet seat to the dirty curtains to the obnoxiously rude front desk staff. They seemed to have no shame in there paper thin bath towels, that wouldn't even fit around an infant. We asked for our bathroom to be cleaned they moved us to another room that was just as equally dirty with no towels in it at all. The sheets were so rough they irritated my skin. I stayed here for just one night and I didn't have any problems. Bathroom and room was clean, I didn't see anything broken or mold anywhere. I love the small table in the room it's perfect for playing cards or eating your lunch or dinner on. The bed was also comfortable, I had plenty of towels; I got a non-smoking room and it actually smelled nice like it was sprayed with room spray. The WORSE hotel EVER. BEWARE, no towels, we had to ask twice, then actually went to front desk to get. Said they we're in the wash, what?? No fridge or hair dryer. No blanket or throw on the bed, just a sheet. TV had 3 buttons you had to figure out to work, oh and you had to flip a switch on the wall (that was not marked) to make it work. No light bulbs in several lamps. Thin walls with loud obnoxious people at night. Furnace didn't work. Breakfast was to be out at 6:30am, nothing was out at 6:30am. So disappointing. After a long day all we wanted to do was lay our heads down and go to sleep. From the minute we walked up to our room, I knew we should have left. First of all, the door to our room was wide open. Strange. Once we walked into the room everything seemed "fine." (More like a Motel 6 - not a place worth the $220/night I paid - but I was tired). Pulling back the sheets, there were yellow stains and blotches. Grosse. So I decide to just sleep with my clothes on. The pillow STUCK so bad, I almost gagged. I had to wrap it in a towel or two just to lay my head on it. It was late...I was exhausted. Then at about 2:30AM, we woke up to a hot stuffy room only to find out that the power went out. Could not fall back asleep. Took a shower at 4:30 only to fine I was not alone - a nice bloody bandaid was on the shower curtain. Needless to say, we left. Had no where to go at 5:30AM but I had to leave. My son's white socks were filthy on the bottom after walking to and from the bathroom maybe twice all night. This place is not even worth my time contacting the management for a refund. I don't want to relive the nightmare but I figure if I could help one person avoid going through what we did, then it is worth my time writing this. The room was very clean and comfortable. Looked fairly renovated and the bed was the best part super comfortable. Needed last minute hotel. Booked it on Hotels .com/ Overpriced...Worst beds Ive ever slept in. Rooms are very small. We arrived late at night, 10;30 as we were stuck on freeway due to accident. We paid for a larger "kitchenette, they gave us a standard or, with 2 double beds(unless the refrigerator makes it a kitchenette!) Both our kids were asleep , so didn't bother going back to the teller window to talk to the on site person. the guy in front of me paid $79 on a walk up.
