I had never heard of Ontrac services until I ordered through the REI website. To say that I am dismayed and upset is an understatement. I have not received my package which is seven days overdue. They sent me a confirmation email indicating the package had been delivered. I, however had not received the package and subsequently contacted them one hour after it was "allegedly" delivered. In the past seven days, I have contacted them three times at my initiation to receive updates on the status. I am now so frustrated that I have given them a deadline to conclude the investigation by the end of business day.  Each time I have contacted them they've stated the supervisor or the driver is trying to determine the location of my package. From my viewpoint they have taken a very lackadaisical manner to conduct and conclude  the investigation.  This is not satisfactory in my book. To add insult to injury I have contacted REI who has now stated they are unable to replace my package because it is discontinued. Please BELIEVE the reviews. DO NOT USE OnTrac EVER. read more

Pretty similar to the other reviews. Ordered a package on Amazon. Ontrac said they delivered it dec 4. I never received any package though. Tried to contact them and they did nothing, no reply. I'm pretty sure their driver lost or stole it now based on the review. Contacted amazon for a refund. And had to reorder it. This time requesting they not use ontrac. Only time I've ever not had a package delivered was by ontrac and their tracking system is wrong. read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Package was returned to company due to my residence being deemed 'unsafe.' I receive packages on a daily basis from FedEx, USPS, and UPS. Never have I heard a driver refuse to deliver a package. I live on a busy two-way road, however we have a driveway that you can easily pull into. I called customer service, they said it's up to the driver's discretion whether or not to at least attempt a delivery. Upon reviewing camera footage from the front of my home, I never saw them even attempt to pull into my driveway!! Please use any other courier. OnTrac is notorious for being a subpar delivery service. read more

I ordered a package from Amazon and paid extra to have it delivered the next day by 9 pm (a Thursday), as I needed it in the morning of the day after (Friday). 9 pm, 10 pm come and go, no package. Call Amazon, they apologize and call ontrac. The ontrac representative whines that, well, it didn't get to their facility until 2 that afternoon (how is that my problem?) So they request I get bumped to "gold level" service, meaning I get it by 8:30 Friday morning. Well, it's nearly 10 am and, yep, no package. I've been on hold with ontrac for 35 minutes, with no one answering the phone. An absolutely horrible way to run a company, and it would greatly behoove Amazon to get out of whatever business deal they signed with ontrac. read more

Ontrac is very fast and makes reliable deliveries at the same time every week for shipments I receive often. However, high dollar items are placed in plain sight even after I made complaints and packaging almost always has physical damage. Most recently they carelessly dropped a cordless power drill that had no additional packaging on my porch. read more

Well we finally got my package delivered from OnTrac delivery service that's why I gave them 2 more stars than I did last time. The young driver finally called us and got directions and we still had to meet him down the road. I had him follow me so he knew where we lived. He said it was his boss that was trying to find us, however I know that was a lie because if your out here you would have at least tried to call us to find us! Needless to say he said next time and I said there won't be a next time. Asked him about all the 2 star reviews, why they're still in business and he said he didn't know either! Incompetent & unprofessional people work here. USPS, UPS, & FedEX have no trouble finding the new community that I live in. My package is suppose to arrive 11/17. Today (11/20) the driver blows up my phone while in a meeting at work asking for directions and would not have my package delivered until 11/21. 11/21 has passed and no package these lazy incompetent idiots decided to return my package to Amazon. I ordered 3 items from Zulily and checked tracking on Sunday 9/20/20 and package showed enroute. Checked again on 9/21/20 on Zulily and saw it showed delivered so went on Ontrac website and package showed delivered 9/19/20 at 4:37 pm at front door. Impossible because we were in our driveway with our grandson and in our front yard till about 5 pm when our daughter left with our grandson. After being told by Zulily that sometimes packages show up after the tracking shows delivered and that they would not enter a claim for 10 days I contacted Ontrac directly and filed an investigation. I was told I would have an answer between 24-72 hours. I called back after 72 hours and was told they didn't have a response but that the issue would be escalated to the manager at Concord branch and to the driver and that I would have an answer by 5 pm, 5 pam came and went and crickets from Ontrac. So early on 9/25/20 I called again and the representative said there was a note that the driver would go back and get the package by 5 pm. So at 5 pm I called AGAIN only to be told the same info and that the investigation was still ongoing. I don't expect to get the package and one lost package probably means NOTHING to Ontrac or Zulily. The response time and lack of action on the part of Ontrac to recover or let me know about my package is appalling! However I must applaud all the customer service representatives with whom I spoke because they sounded genuinely sorry for what happened and did their best to help me. No if only Ontrac would review their procedure for tracking packages delivered incorrectly they would be a much better company. Five ***** for customer service and really ZERO stars for Ontrac delivery and tracking services. read more

I have NEVER received my packages when being delivered from OnTrac. I always get an email stating my packages have been delivered but they're never delivered. Come to find out, it's been the same driver for all my packages! I'm not sure what he's doing or why he's not delivering them but somethings gotta change. I contacted the place where I purchased from for one of my packages and told them I received an email that my package was delivered 4 days ago but I never received it so they sent me the same item at no cost AND THEN it was delivered..along with the original package which was supposedly delivered the week prior. This poor review is for the HORRIBLE drivers, the customer service for these problems have been polite. The driver made a mistake and delivered my package to someone else's home. I have been trying to reach out to ontrac and have received no response. My package was supposed to delivered 12/4. When I checked the tracking it stated it was delivered. I go and look on my front porch, in my mailbox nothing . 0 stars for Ontrac . Now I have to wait another 10 days to file a claim and through that process, which is ridiculous!! Unfortunately companies still use this company. I had packages delivered yesterday, May 8 and today May 9, 2018. Luckily I was home when the product was delivered yesterday, however today May 9, 2018, the driver threw the boxes on the front porch. I heard them as they hit the concrete front porch from upstairs and went to the front door to see what was going on. My past experience with OnTrac has not been very good either. They do not possess any customer skills, does not care about the customer or how they deliver valuable products to the customer. If I can give this place a ZERO I would. Absolute HORRIBLE service. DO NOT order from anywhere that uses their shipping service and that inlcudes SEPHORA. These people will steal your packages and claim it was delivered. They will then "launch an investigation" and claim they are able to verify it was delivered. Do you know how they verify? By asking the driver lol No cameras. Nothing. The driver can scan the item from home and claim it was delivered. I got a message saying my package was delivered to a reception area in my apartment complex which was an instant red flag because I knew our leasing office was closed due to the "shelter at home" order. When I didnt see my package at my front door (which is where it is usally delivered), I went to the leasing office - CLOSED and no package in sight. They had been closed for a week by that point. When I asked the customer service rep to explain that, she just suggested that maybe the driver left it at the door which is essentially the SIDE WALK. Who the hell leaves a package on the side walk in front of a leasing office when I specifically gave them an apartment number?? Obviously, one of 2 things happened - the driver left it on the side walk and it got stolen instantly cause I checked it just minutes after I got the notification or the driver stole it. To top things off, Sephora wont offer a refund for my stolen item. Buyer beware, this place along with Sephora are absolute trash! RESPONSE: Sidney, what for? I have provided by tracking number multiple times and I get directed back to the vendor and am given the run around. You guys STILL cant tell me where the package was delivered. read more

After apparently driving around town all day with a perishable package with a committed delivery of Saturday end of day, On Trac updated the status at 9 pm to say an unspecified "event" occurred and that delivery would now be Tuesday. That's unacceptable for a perishable package. When I'd checked at 7 pm, their website function for order status wasn't working and their customer service number said to check the website. read more

If it was possible to give negative stars I would. These people are the worst. From the driver down to dispatch. They do not care if you get your package or not. The drivers make no effort what so ever. I live in a gated community. All other carriers get in and deliver. I swear this driver doesn't even get out to make an effort if they see the gate closed. Then afterwards it's really hard to get the package myself. If it wasn't for the shippers from my orders using them I wouldn't use them at all. Ever! The worst! If I could give them zero stars I would. BEWARE shipping with these fly-by-night idiots. We ordered some parts from Granger. They shipped using this pitiful company. We never received the box. Ontrac says it was delivered. No it wasn't. No box & no signature. Same thing happended with another order a week later. We never received the box but Ontrac says it was delivered. Again no signature. Another 10 days & we place another order...guess what?? SAME thing!! No box & no signature. In each case Granger ate the lost orders [not cheap]. We placed another order [Granger didn't learn their lesson], again Ontrac was supposed to deliver the box. The idiot dispatcher calls & says the driver can't find the house. He is told this is a business not a house. Again he says but he cant find the house. Again this is a business NOT a house. He was too stupid & wouldn't listen. Finally my coworker said he would go out to the street & flag down the driver. As he is standing there he happens to glance at the large bushes next to the fence. He can see something red, so he goes closer. There INSIDE the bush is a Granger box [see pic 1]!! The driver had to move the thick branches to stuff the box in there. Upon further inspection he can see ANOTHER Granger box stuffed higher into the bushes [see pic 2]!! As he is fighting the branches to retrieve the boxes he can see another box between the bushes & the fence [see pic 3]!! All 3 "lost" orders that Ontrac said were delivered over the past month were actually just thrown/stuffed into the bushes...SMH. read more

I agree with all the one star reviews. This company should be shut down. They lost our closing paperwork on a home we are buying. They say it is lost inside the building "somewhere". I wish Amazon would stop using this service. My packages always come closer to 11 pm. My neighbors complain because they are usually delivered in a late model car by someone not in a uniform. I've complained to Amazon and to Ontrac. Two nights in a row packages were delivered closer to 11 pm rather than the 8 pm promised. A call to Ontrac promised me my package tonight before 8 pm. I'll have to say, after reading all the negative reviews I was expecting disaster. The results were completely the opposite. Box arrived on scheduled day, before noon. Driver drove up driveway to the gate, 220 feet from the street. Used the keypad intercom, carried the box into the yard where I met him, said "Have a great day," and backed down the driveway. Box was undamaged, contents were undamaged. WTF happened? It was a perfecto - 10/10. Maybe it's my day to buy a Lottery ticket, maybe not. I live in a safe neighborhood and everyone knows everybody. So if a package delivered at the wrong house they obviously bring it to the right house. You can call it a "bougie" neighborhood too if you want. Ordered from Walmart and I literally waited all day for it to come in, it's been out for delivery since 7:40am. I refreshed the tracking at MIDNIGHT and says it was delivered to my front door at 10:30a. Like what? How??? And I just contacted Walmart, and they told me to file a police report. Don't use On Trac! It looks like they have an ongoing problem of losing packages. I received notice that my package had been delivered. No package on my porch. I checked my cameras and nobody had been to my house at all. When I called their customer service, they were of no help at all! They told me that indeed my package was scanned and left on my porch. I don't know what I can say that hasn't been said by others here, but this company is simply the worst. They send me an email telling me that my order would be coming that day. I followed it online until around 6pm when I called because the status wasn't updated...for an order coming from Sacramento to Concord. They simply lost my package. The next morning I get the same email stating that it would be delivered that day. Again, nothing. Called to speak to someone to ensure that it would be delivered as promised. Waited 90+ minutes on hold until I finally relented and took the offer of a callback. When they called back another two hours later all they could tell me was that it wouldn't be delivered that day. After I paid for expedited shipping and two different promises of delivery. Then I was told that the shipper didn't specify Saturday delivery, so it would be Monday before I received my package. Their delivery service is HORRIBLE!!! If the ideal is to throw or drop your package as far away from your door as possible; then they are ones for you. I have recordings of them not even bothering to come on the porch,but throwing or dropping my packages. If I could give a "0" or a negative rating I would. I actually opened the door at the same time a driver was delivering and told him I would take the package.
