I don't normally post reviews but one of the drivers delivered a package to my house and I was sitting on my patio that faces the same direction as my front door so I just opened my side gate and went to grab it and I saw the driver standing infront of my neighbors apartment on the walk way facing the lake with his penis in his hand . I'm positive if he was trying to use the bathroom he would've gone closer to a bush not out in the middle of the walkway. ANYWAY , I made a noise with my fence when I was opening it to ask him what the heck he was doing when MY SON WAS RIGHT THERE playing on the patio. And he ran away after he heard me . Zero Stars . Third time this month and we're only at the 15th on track delivery needs a total overhaul. First package missing went to a neighbor four doors down ..very nice neighbor. Second package went to a neighbor two blocks down the street very very nice neighbor... And today they tell me my third package was delivered no it was not. They gave the time and said that well the GPS showed the guy in the area for 1 minute. In the area? But could not offer anything besides that. This was a huge box with school clothes for grandkids. I must be that one in a million, that received my package on time, with no issues whatsoever. For that service, I'd give a full 5 stars. However, after buying an Xbox off Best Buy and seeing an odd company named OnTrac was handling my package I decided to look them up. And OH BOY, was I surprised, all of the absolutely terrible, nightmare delivery experiences. This began to make me worry to the absolute maximum and was extremely nervous and after about 2 hours of reading up people's experiences on different review sites, videos, etc. I thought for sure I was not going to get my package on time, IF AT ALL! Especially considering that I wasn't provided a tracking number until the morning of the estimated delivery date. I am extremely pleased to say, I received my package today at 4:45PM, when it said, "Commitment time, by the end of the day, before 8pm". I genuinely was preparing for it to not come, began building a case with all sorts of evidence (SO relieved I did not have to use it!!). As well as all of the disgusting claims against their customer service, I was almost positive I'd have to be in contact with them! All in all, although I received my package on time, as expected, and exactly how it was described to be received, I still can NOT give this Postal Service 5 stars. As this is no where near 5 Star service with the concern and worry I was filled with from the time it was shipped to Best Buy, until about an hour ago when I received it. As well as everyone else's experience. However, this is a review on MY experience, and it seems I am within the great MINORITY of receiving this type of service through OnTrac. Therefore, a 4 Star is most definitely fair from me considering the only issue I had was the worry and concern brought to me by reading too deeply into other customer's experiences (Which there's nothing wrong with, that's what new customers should do! Especially when they believe something is strange/unusual or they've never heard of the company!) I paid extra for faster delivery for something I ordered from Zulily. I had a tracking number quickly with OnTrac and my package got here to Sacramento on time. I received every update. Then came time for delivery. I was alerted that my package had been delivered to my porch. That was a lie because my window was open and nobody came to the porch at all. I called OnTrac and they told me they would ask the driver about it and they would call me back. I never got a call back. I called the next day and OnTrac said the driver wasn't able to find my apartment and that he can try to redeliver it. I asked can I just pick it up instead. I was told that they have to find out where my package is and where and when to pick it up. I never got a call back. So I called the next day and I'm told my package is at the OnTrac building and I can pick it up Monday -Friday between 9am-9 pm and Sat 8am- 12 pm. Then the guy on the phone proceeds to tell me I have only today or tomorrow to pick it up. I told him I would have picked it up 2 days ago if someone had let me know where to pick it from. I will attempt to pick it up today or tomorrow even though the website says it closes at 6pm. I was told 9 pm. I get off work at 6 pm. This is the worst service ever. Not only was my item a day late getting delivered- it never got delivered to me. They say that it was left at my front door and I live in an apartment complex.... Checked with all my neighbors and apartment front office- package is totally MIA. I was away from home for all of 2 hours when my package was supposedly delivered. I will make sure any future orders placed will not be delivered by this company. Already told Amazon never to deliver to me again using this company. If I could give no stars I would! Tracking info showed delivered but it was NOT. Company insisted driver was in the "appropriate area" and package was left at front door. NOT TRUE. We have a security video cam at door that records any motion and there was NO such delivery on the date and time they say. I have been the one to make calls asking where is my package. This place is trash. Ordered my pregnant wife a specialty pillow to help her sleep while pregnant. We've been home all week because of this Coronavirus situation and they post that they delivered our package while we were home. But they never did. It said 12:59pm delivery and that's absurd because I was doing yard work from around noon till 2pm. I'm so sick and tired of ontrac. Amazon used to use them. Thankfully they must have ended their contract for good reason I hope. Anytime I get packages and are being delivered by ontrac, there are always issues. Each time I make an online purchase at bath n body works, my package is ALWAYS listed as delivered, but not anywhere in sight. I live in a condo and have a Ring camera and no person was seen delivering anything at my door. Their customer service of course shoots BS updates. I have never had any other issues with any other courier, not even USPS. Why can't this company get put out of business? Hi same problem as well. I ordered a gift on 11/30 from Walmart. Com and it shows its been in my town for over 14 days! I've called on trac customer service twice saying that they reached out to Sac manager waiting to hear back, 5 days later, still waiting!! I'm going to reach out to Walmart and either have them give me a refund or let me go there and pick it up personally if there's any even left. What a joke all around. It's very disheartening to have to submit such a negative review for a company due to an employee that seems to not take pride in their position. I placed an order for a dress that I had been waiting to become available for several months. I finally got an email stating that the dress was available in my size and I immediately ordered it. The company immediately shipped my item and I got a message saying it would be arriving on Tuesday of the next week. On Tuesday around 1:30, I got an email stating that the package had been delivered. Because I work from home, I was able to immediately check my doorstep. It wasn't there. I put on my shoes and went to the mailbox and our leasing office, only to discover it hadn't been left their either. When I got back in my house, I called OnTrac to try to figure out what happened. The person that I spoke with was extremely professional. They took my information and told me someone would get back to me. The next day (Wednesday) I got a message from someone from OnTrac saying that the delivery driver stated that they left the package in the mailroom at the leasing office. Well that seemed odd because we have a leasing office but we don't have a mailroom. I called the office to check to see if maybe the package was there. They informed me that the package had still not shown up. Please know that I have lived at my complex for over 8 years and the only time I had an issue with a delivery was when a driver mis-delivered it to the wrong complex. I called OnTrac again informing them that the package had still not shown up and was told the driver would be returning to my complex by 5pm to try to investigate what happened to the package. The driver never showed up so I called OnTrac on Thursday to inform them and find out what was going on. They advised me that they would page the driver again and have them contact me or the office. After about 4 hours (because I wasn't going to wait another day,) I called the office, they hadn't heard anything and I called OnTrac back. They were very sympathetic but were still unable to determine what happened with the driver or the package. I was sent to escalations department where I was assured that they would be back in touch with me as soon as they did their due diligence to figure out my issue. A few hours later I saw a missed call from my leasing office and from OnTrac so I called the office first. They told me the driver came back and said she remembered the package but didn't know what happened to it. I called OnTrac back only to find out that the driver reported that she didn't leave the package with anyone. She said she left it unattended. Here's another thing, the leasing office is not set up for someone to come in and drop off packages. We don't have a mail room and there are 3 employees in the office when you walk in. If no one is there, they lock the office and you can't get in so now I am convinced that driver outright lied to her supervisor because she NEVER told the manager at my leasing office that she left the package unattended. Anyway, OnTrac referred me back to the vendor where I bought my dress and they told me that I have to put in a claim form and it can take up to 10 days for a resolution. So now I have to either miss my event or try diligently to find something else to wear. After reading all the reviews about OnTrac here on yelp, they need to be investigated and they need to do their due diligence about who they are hiring as drivers because clearly the one the was supposed to deliver my package lacks integrity!!!! In addition to this yelp review, I have composed a letter to their corporate headquarters, the better business bureau and I have submitted a complaint to the vendor about who they are using as a delivery service. read more

Amazon uses this company and it has not lived up to its commitments many times. Today the delivery was supposed to be no later than 8PM. It didn't even get on a truck until 7:58PM even though it arrived at the facility at 10AM. Why it sat there for 10 hours without moving is unacceptable. Amazon transmits the gate code for this address but for some reaosn the delivery person didn't have it so I didn't get the package. They tried at 9:40 to deliver it. They shouldn't be trying it that late even if they could get the gate code issue squared away. I wish Amazon had a box I could check that said No Ontrac service please. read more

Pros: - Everyone once in a great while when a company uses them to ship my package, the package actually reaches me without a delay or other issue. - A certain makeup retailer uses them for their "2-day" shipping, and when OnTrac screws up and I report the delay or other mishap, the makeup company gives me extra reward program points as well as a refund, when applicable. (Still, next year I won't be renewing the "all 2-day shipments over $X are free" service I PAID that retailer for this year unless they start using another shipping company, because the packages so rarely reach me in 2 days, if at all) - I'm getting to know my neighbors better after having them bring my incorrectly delivered packages over, and vice versa, so many times. Cons: - There seems to be about a 15-20% chance my OnTrac package will be reported as delivered when it hasn't been. I work from home right now so no, this is not happening because the package was delivered and then stolen. Hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise, which fortunately the retailers in question have refunded... but still, sheesh. - Has delivered repeatedly to the wrong address in my apartment complex (delivered to X123 rather than Y123, those aren't the actual letters/numbers but you get the idea). I'm vision-impaired but even I can see the 'X' and 'Y' (each one of which is larger than a human head) on the side of each building in my apartment complex. - Claims frequent delays due to weather even when other delivery companies aren't having similar trouble or have recovered from the weather far more quickly. The biggest example recently were two orders I made from the same online retailer on the same day. One order shipped via UPS Ground and was due to arrive on day X but was actually delivered early, two days sooner than expected. Package #2 was sent via OnTrac's alleged 2-day shipping and arrived 9 days late, a full week after the "slower" package. Not really sure why an online retailer would want to use this company unless they're actually *hoping* to alienate their customers? Wish I could give a zero-star rating. read more

Order was scheduled for delivery 9/6 - they delayed the delivery AGAIN PER USUAL...I called to advise OnTrac this is a business address and to not attempt delivery over the weekend. Hours are 7am-4pm..check tracking details and what do u know they attempted delivery on Saturday. I have called 3 times today asking where the driver is since it's now 30 mins before closings! They are trying to blame the weather, but I'm in Sacramento, CA and the package is in Visalia, CA. I placed an order online on 12/21/20. The package was to travel from Huntington Beach, CA to Fresno, CA. This Company was assigned to ship the package. I had never heard of OnTrac before. Work and personal shipments all used FedEx, UPS, DHL. I pulled up the tracking and on 12/22 the package arrived in Fresno, CA. It was out for delivery on 12/24. From what I hear, the driver "ended his route" without delivering that day. I placed my first call to the company Saturday 12/26. The rep stated that she has limited ability on Saturday but she would email the local office to see what's going on with my package. If nothing happened to call back on Monday after looking at the tracking info. Nothing happened. I called Monday. "We will email the local office. If this doesn't work call back tomorrow and we will escalate." Nothing happened. "We have escalated this issue. You should receive an email from us." On my call Tuesday. No changes on tracking. No email. I had been polite and respectful on all of the calls to this company, until Wednesday. I mentioned that I too have to speak with customers as I back up a team of customer-facing employees, and I never hold the person on the phone responsible but I told the representative, I l've had it and apologized in advance for what I would say next. I went through a brief history of my calls as above. The package has been in Fresno since the 22nd it is now the 30th and it need to be on a f**** truck and to my house by EOD today. I asked if they lost it. The rep literally had no information. He mentioned escalating to the "highest department" and I would receive another email. Because of the false promises from OnTrac already, I contacted the shipper of the package, and they were incredibly helpful. I started my conversation with the shipper "This is in no way YOUR fault, but I need your help here with OnTrac, the company that is supposed to deliver my package." They stated that if this is happening, they probably lost my package. They agreed that if there were no updates on Monday (tomorrow) they would ship out the items again (worth $250) I was incredibly surprised! Someone actually has some customer service, and does what is needed to make things right! Point is this shipping company OnTrac is horrible. On all future personal and business shipments I will no mark in the notes "DO NOT USE ONTRAC" as they lost my package, and I still have not heard of any updates or seen any of the escalated emails they've promised.
