Overall, my girlfriend and I had a great experience with Ontrack. Dylan and all the guys who set up the moving-day appointment were super helpful and responsive. I originally booked a 2-man crew for a small 1-bedroom, but a 4-man crew finished a previous job earlier and dispatch sent them instead. And boy am I glad. They didn't charge extra for the extra movers and I totally underestimated the size of my move. The 4 movers they sent busted their butts and didn't stop or stall and it still took them a bit longer than I predicted. If I only got the 2-man crew I requested, it would have taken at least twice as long. Clearly my misjudgment. Hector, Jose A., Eduardo, and another Jose all showed up wearing masks, and called 20 minutes before arrival. They were respectful, didn't damage anything in the apartment, and took good care of our stuff while still making great time. The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is because of the packing materials costs. Ontrack really needs to cut down on those prices. They definitely added up to make the move a lot more expensive than I thought. Advice: Book Ontrack for your move, but definitely try to do as much pre-packing as possible to save time and money. read more

The move with Ontrack was fine... the guys were nice during the process. But once the service ended we had an issue with the payment and it got very uncomfortable. Their iPad app showed a different time - 6-7 minutes in advance of the actual time, so I was charged for an extra quarter of an hour, then when I brought it up Sam was very rude about it. If you do use Obtrack make sure to look at the time to confirm. It took a lot of energy to get a refund reflecting the correct total. read more

Pedro and Miguel did a great job moving all of our furniture from a POD into our new townhouse. They put together the beds, table, desk, etc. They kept checking to make sure every box was placed in the correct room. They worked nonstop the entire time and were very careful with all of our items. It took them way less time than if we had to do it ourselves. We were quoted $175/hr with a four hour minimum. This was cheaper per hour than other quotes but the four hour minimum put the total estimate slightly higher than other bids. Even though the two man crew only took 2.5 hours, I didn't mind that they got done early or paying for four hour minimum. I was so impressed with how efficient they were. The amount of work they did in 2.5 hours would have taken me all day. I will definitely be using this company again when we move in a year! read more

Great communication and easy to work with. I booked these guys and then found another company that ended up being able to move me earlier. So, I called to cancel my move about 5 minutes after I booked it. Although deposits are typically nonrefundable, they refunded my deposit. That was awesome of them. Where do I start, wow I am just stunned how amazing these three gentleman handled this move and our 3 flights of stairs. Despite the rain, and other obstacles throw their way they were able to get everything in fragile and all without a scratch anywhere. I have used Ontrack Moving two moves in the last 18 months. Each time the movers were courteous, professional, polite, hardworking and great attention to detail. My last move was short notice and arranged with less than 1 week lead time and was not a problem! The disassembled, carefully packed my furniture, reassembled in the new home. What a great moving experience so far! We booked On Track Moving at the recommendation of our neighbors who used them a few years ago to move into their home and said they were excellent. We booked for the day after Thanksgiving and I was a bit nervous about them working so hard in our home the day after Thanksgiving, not knowing how exposed the crew might have been to Covid. Everyone was great from the lead, right on down to each and every helper. They were masked, polite, efficient and fast! We had them move our 3 bedroom 2 bath house of the remaining contents to a 9'x17' storage unit that already had stuff in it that was not effectively organized, so they had to reorganize and repack the unit which they did safely, effectively and in record breaking time. I've moved 4 times in the Bay area in 3 years and this team was the best! Reginal, Humberto, and Fabian were amazing. They were professional, fast, and especially accommodating with the fact that I was sick with a winter cold and handling the move on my own since my partner had to work and couldn't take off. Very pleasantly surprised about how responsive and professional the entire move was handled. People showed up when they said and were very competent and professional. Like any service, your mileage may vary depending on the people you actually get so I can only speak to the crew that loaded and unloaded my home for an out of state move. One thing I should mention is that they don't do consolidated moves, my possessions were the only thing on the truck which was sealed and then unsealed at my destination. Five guys loaded and two guys unloaded. Even though we didn't pay for small item packing, we didn't quite finish and they gladly packed a few boxes of open items and things i didn't know how to pack like monitors. They seem to be quite careful handling things. I only remember the names of the guys who also drove out for the unload - Hector and Gustavo. Hector was the crew chief and I can't say enough good about him. Super conscientious and really thoughtful when it came to figuring out how to pack things safely. One of those people that you assume works just as carefully when no one is watching. He also helped me keep under weight which saved me a bunch of money on a second truck. If you happen to get Hector in charge of your move, I'd say you can count yourself in good hands. I don't have a lot of experience with moving companies but read a lot of horror stories when trying to select a company. They are not the cheapest moving company but they exceeded my expectations for a professional, hassle free move. For sure I would use them again. read more

I am very happy to report that from beginning to end the company was professional, clear in its communications both from the office staff and the crew. The Truck Foreman Daniel and his partner Jorge were exceptional in their care. They wrapped everything extremely carefully, moved it just as carefully, and were prepared with even small items like an allen wrench needed to take apart the bed frame. It was a dream come true. They also were patient and orderly in reassembling the room and putting the bed together, and positioning some very fragile and heavy art furnishings. I highly recommend them. Reginal, Leopoldo and Samuel did our big move to consolidate multiple storages from one location to another city location. They were able to come up with some efficient ways to move lots of the items that were loose in a very time -efficient manner. Once we told them there were trash (broken/empty boxes) in the mix, they were quick to segregate out trash from properties without losing work speed so to help us not wasting storage space with new trash in the new storage.
