Since then, they've serviced the almost 22 year old system at my home, nursing it along. With each semi-annual "check-up" service, they advised me on what I needed to do, and what could wait. When funds were tight, they suggested stopgaps to help. Because of this history, when Alex showed me that my heater was leeching carbon monoxide into my home, I knew I could trust him. While I waited for my appointment, I was provided with space heaters gratis. This IS an independently owned business, and they treat customers like family. Ozzy (Osvaldo) and Anthony installed a new heat pump and air conditioner for me last week. They were at my home three days. Not only were they professional, friendly, and polite, they were also respectful of my home--taking time EVERY day to cover my carpeted areas, covering their boots as they came into and exited the house, and cleaning up any installation debris before they left each day. Ozzy and Anthony discovered that a part of the original system was not going to work as efficiently with the new system (the dampers) given the difference in the size. Ozzy explained the difference to me, noted the cost, and the pros and cons. He didn't pressure me to upgrade the items but he made sure I had enough information to make a decision. At the end of the installation, Ozzy took the time to show me how to use the new digital thermostat controls and gave me tips on how to use the system economically. He provided me information on how to follow up if there were ever any problems. Just like other times, Vic called a few days later to see how things were going (I missed the call, but still...so so kind and thoughtful). It's a lot of money to replace your entire HVAC system, no matter which company you use, but hiring one where you know you can trust the company. Simply put, you'll never have worries about trusting Elite Comfort Systems.

Patricia in the office is so sweet and makes sure we are set with appointments, or if we are in need of any heating/ air conditioning needs/ have any questions. Terry, the technician, is kind & respectful. He comes to do the routine check up on our home system throughout the year before big weather seasons. Last Fall (or was it the year before?) our furnace stopped working, and I called Cali HVAC for service. They sent Oleg fairly quickly, and he did a good job repairing it; in fact, he proved himself to be very conscientious when, after replacing a circuit board that fixed the problem, he didn't like the way one part on the board was oriented, so he came back and replaced that board with a different one that fit better. He could have left it as is, since it was working, and I probably never would have known. In addition to fixing the problem pretty quickly, Oleg was also very informative and polite, answering all questions with patience and no attitudes. So, now I have moved into a new house, and even though the HVAC works, I want to have them check it out, and hopefully educate me about filters to use, what maintenance it might need, and how to make it quieter.

This HVAC company sent by my home warranty misdiagnosed my AC, claiming the control board needed…read morereplacement. The warranty then refused coverage, saying the unit is still under manufacturer warranty. I repeatedly requested documentation to verify the warranty myself, but never received anything. Due to the lack of support, I hired two independent HVAC companies, both of which confirmed the real issue is a refrigerant leak--not the control board. Had I relied on the original diagnosis, I would have paid for an unnecessary repair while the actual problem remained unresolved. I am very dissatisfied with both the home warranty provider and their contractor due to the misdiagnosis, poor communication, and lack of follow-through. Please do me a favor. Don't hire them.

They installed 2 furnaces and 2 AC units for me all in one day. Looked great, they cleaned up some of the pipes and stuff from what I would assume the original builder left behind (like that when I bought the home). Approx a year later, my AC stopped cooling in my upstairs. Jim was at my house same day and changed a fuse. Left me two more fuses and showed me how to replace if it happened again. Then tried to NOT charge me anything. I still have him money as he came immediately and got my AC back running on a 100 degree day. And the fuse blowing had nothing to do with his install. It was simply the age of the fuses. Fast forward another year (to today 8/20). My AC stopped blowing out cold air again. I replaced the fuses since Jim showed me how and it didn't work. When researching it said this is super common and it's a capacitor. I called Jim again, at 7pm and he had someone here the next morning at 9am. Fixed the capacitor in minutes and told me it was covered under warranty. Only paid the very small trip fee. Crazy how awesome these guys are!!! If you need any AC or heating needs - hands down these guys are EXTRAORDINARY. Happy to answer any questions - please feel free to ask about my experience.
