I called them to look into my mom's air conditioner because she mentioned she had very low flow on some rooms of her home even though the AC system was completely replaced including the air ducts a few years ago (by another company). Their technician came out and found that my mom's air vents were these wooden type slats and were simply closed causing no flow on the rooms. He was honest and confirmed to me that's all it was. He opened them up and he even replaced a missing air filter from the air intake and didn't charge us extra for it. I appreciate Energy Solutions for being honest, friendly and thorough. Without a doubt, Energy Solutions and its owner, Daniel FInk is the best heating and air conditioning company in the Bay Area. They installed heating and air conditioning for me in 2021, and did a wonderful job. I had six estimates, and they were the only company that figured out how to get heat and air to a room addition in my home. Since then, I have had to call Daniel twice for emergency service. The first time, the thermostat went out. Daniel had a technician there within two hours and replaced it for no charge. Last week, the situation was much more critical. Because of a storm, my sump pump failed, and flooded my cellar, causing irreparable damage to the furnace. Daniel came out, assessed the damage, and within two days, the furnace was replaced. He went out of his way to work with the insurance company to make sure that it was covered under the homeowner's insurance. I doubt you can find anyone who knows more about heating and air conditioning than Daniel. He and everyone that works for him are both hard working and very calm and polite. After doing research on yelp, I was very happy to find Energy Solutions. My old AC was no longer functioning at all and summer was approaching fast! The prospect of another hot summer did not sound pleasant. I called Dan at Energy Solutions to see if I could get a quote for a new AC unit. Dan promptly called me back and sent Matt and another technician to inspect my old AC unit and heater and provide a recommendation on how best to approach my AC needs. It turned out I needed a new AC unit and a new heater. I was emailed an estimate on what it would cost to install new AC and heater units a few days later. The estimate was very reasonable, and we were able to schedule the install a week later. On the date of the installation, Matt arrived on time and started the removal. Dan arrived shortly after and jumped right in. The old units were removed and hauled away by Matt. Throughout the entire process, Dan and Matt were very friendly, professional, and neat in installing the new units. I could not be happier with the result. Dan also had the great idea to reroute our unit and put it on the side yard, which totally opened up our back patio.
