Without a doubt, Energy Solutions and its owner, Daniel FInk is the best heating and air conditioning company in the Bay Area. They installed heating and air conditioning for me in 2021, and did a wonderful job. I had six estimates, and they were the only company that figured out how to get heat and air to a room addition in my home. Since then, I have had to call Daniel twice for emergency service. The first time, the thermostat went out. Daniel had a technician there within two hours and replaced it for no charge. Last week, the situation was much more critical. Because of a storm, my sump pump failed, and flooded my cellar, causing irreparable damage to the furnace. Daniel came out, assessed the damage, and within two days, the furnace was replaced. He went out of his way to work with the insurance company to make sure that it was covered under the homeowner's insurance. I doubt you can find anyone who knows more about heating and air conditioning than Daniel. He and everyone that works for him are both hard working and very calm and polite. Our AC stopped working during a heat wave (of course). Energy Solutions was the only one of many technicians I called that returned my voicemail (within an hour, I might add), and he offered to come out within 24 hours. After doing research on yelp, I was very happy to find Energy Solutions. My old AC was no longer functioning at all and summer was approaching fast! The prospect of another hot summer did not sound pleasant. I called Dan at Energy Solutions to see if I could get a quote for a new AC unit. Dan promptly called me back and sent Matt and another technician to inspect my old AC unit and heater and provide a recommendation on how best to approach my AC needs. It turned out I needed a new AC unit and a new heater. I was emailed an estimate on what it would cost to install new AC and heater units a few days later. The estimate was very reasonable, and we were able to schedule the install a week later. On the date of the installation, Matt arrived on time and started the removal. Dan arrived shortly after and jumped right in. The old units were removed and hauled away by Matt. Throughout the entire process, Dan and Matt were very friendly, professional, and neat in installing the new units. I could not be happier with the result. In July we hired Energy Solutions to install an entirely new central heating and air conditioning system in our house. I found them on yelp! Owner Dan Fink was great to work with. He was very thorough in his estimate and was patient with the incessant questions my wife and I had about the process. He returned calls promptly and showed up when he said he would. His estimate was fair. During construction the work crew was respectful of our home and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. They were a hard working bunch and highly professional. There were a couple of unforeseen glitches which required work beyond the scope of the original estimate. The extra amount that Dan charged was fair. Dan did a good job in thoroughly communicating what the issues were that resulted in the revised estimate. The workmanship was excellent. Pipes, ducting, removal of old wall units, vents all done as expected. Everything looks great in the house and the system works perfectly. The quality of their work and the ease of doing business with Energy Solutions is why I give them five stars. Dan even had his office fill out the PG&E and manufacturer rebate forms, so I got both rebate checks within a couple of weeks of completion of the job.
