This is a great club with phenomenal live music on Friday night from 6-9! The bands tend to be 80's band, which is great for the over 40 crowd, then the younger folks come in closer to 9. The Onyx offers a variety of great cocktails and beer. Shockingly, their bar food is also great, particularly their fish and chips. I don't even really like fish and chips, but theirs are delicious. The best part about this bar is definitely the people. The staff is phenomenal, they really make you feel welcomed and cared about. Special recognition to Bianca, Suzanne and Natalie. The customers are also great, with a more the merrier attitude and all are welcome to join. To top it all off the bar is clean, definitely the cleanest bathrooms of any bar or club I have ever been in. Bottom line; this is a place you need to try! My husband & I were in town Sat 5/30, and decided to stop in for a beer, and play pool. Penny was the bartender. I got a 16oz Gummy Worm beer $6.53hh, and my husband got a 16oz Elysian Space Dust. There are 2 pool tables $1 per game, and free Shuffleboard. We played a few games of pool, and wanted to play Shuffleboard but there were 2 men sitting at the table right next to it, so it would have been difficult walking back & forth. Went with a group of about 10 friends. The drinks were heavy pours, very good for pricing! Service was great till one of our drinks had a white strip at the bottom of it (probably from the bottle) and after I took it back for a new one, the service definitely changed. Next time I went to the bar I waited about 10 minutes to be helped while the bartender kept helping people around me and people who just walked in instead. Friday night at The Onyx was an absolute blast. From 6:00-9:00 PM they had a lively band that kept the energy high all evening -- the place was truly hopping. The highlight for me, though, was the whiskey sour crafted by Bianca... hands down one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly balanced and dangerously delicious. What a great spot, so happy I walked in. Don't let the exterior fool you, the inside is divey, but nice! TVs are all over the place with sports on, it's dark and welcoming. The SECURITY GAURD walked up to my friend while she was at the bar top and touched her butt then continued to try and talk to her after leaving to the bathroom from uncomfortably when we were leaving he continued to ask her questions when we walked out the door he continued to yell at us from from a couple doors down. Saturday, 4/02/2022 - Checked out "Onyx Club" in Roseville, Ca. Address is 116 Main St, Roseville, CA 95678. We went early, so upon arrival: Pros: 1) nice bar. They have a bar in the back patio too. Plenty of seating. 2) had TVs, games, pool tables, electronic dart board, music, etc to keep one entertained. 3) bar tender is nice. 4) people here were all very nice. Patrons mind their own business. 5) the have music here in the evening, I heard. But we came early so didn't get to hear the DJ spin. 6) there's a public parking lot right down the street. Not sure if it's paid parking or not, as I didn't park there. I found street parking!! It wasn't paid parking for me. Cons: No cons. Conclusion: We came early and there wasn't much people. So the workers here were very nice and helpful. Even those that came to enjoy a night out were all very nice. Love that they had plenty of games to keep their customers entertained and good music going. And that they had a bag patio with a bar and music going. read more

Raiders fans aren't really welcome here. It's a Niners bar now apparently. I guess back in the day it maybe was a Raiders bar, doesn't look like it now. Bartender basically said F you and had one tiny tv screen with the raider game on and 6 other large screens with nothing but the Niners game. Oh well, this bar's loss since I usually buy a lot of drinks and tip super generously for the bar staff. Being a Hater and basically telling certain fans they aren't welcome is apparently how this bar operates. I can take a hint and I'll be sure to spread the word. Apparently this bar is also known for scamming your debit/credit car to be significantly higher than your actual bill according to other reviews here. Smh read more

I came in for a few drinks with my grade school friend and to see Natalie. I've been coming here over 10 years and have always had a good time. It can be crowded af or more dead than mommy social life the days... but The Onyx definitely hits when it's time!! My grade school friend comes in here all the time. He invited me out and we sat & caught up in what we've been up to. Life. Work. Seeing Natalie here makes me happy bc this place wouldn't run as smooth as it does without her. She kept us company. Kept up with other customers while she visited.. Come on now, your like a local celebrity! The onyx has several good beers on tap and a full bar. I like drinking Breaking Bud while my friends drinks his lite beer.. yuck, haha Drinks kept coming as long as we wanted and as long as we didn't get wild. Paying for our tab was a breeze.
