On some of their dishes though, they walk the walk as well as talk the talk. Their Barbecue Wings with Crack are simply a must-have. Crack in this case is plain ordinary sugar. Plain ordinary sugar applied in industrial quantities. On some of the wings - notably the honey wings - the extra sucrose does nothing. On Barbecue Wings - the crack is like combining Red Bull with the best party band ever. Those wings were just over the top. The baked macaroni and cheese was good, but it leaned a little more toward a Velveeta-style cheese sauce than my personal preference. Still a solid 9/10. I also ordered the Peach Passion Fruit Hennessy margarita, and it was superb. Smooth, flavorful, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the prices were very reasonable, and the portions were generous. The okra looked like it had been refried, and the chicken wings tasted as though they were cooked in old grease. The greens had an unusual flavor, and the macaroni and cheese did not taste like traditional mac and cheese. The oxtails were messy but not tender.
