She then said the best option for me would be the mushrooms or the wings because they are lightly breaded and she is gluten free and does well with those. We paid for our drinks and left. I won't be coming back and it's not because of the menu.

However, it's not really a dinner spot. Our server was fantastic, but the food and drinks were just okay. I had the vegan sloppy Joe, which was good, but I couldn't help but wonder: does anyone actually prefer chips to fries? My friend had the Tacoma's Best Grilled Cheese, which was made with mozzarella and provolone -- two of the least flavorful cheeses you could pick for a grilled cheese. It did not live up to its name. We got our bartender's recommendation on drinks: the El Diablo mule & Paper Dragon. They were light and tasty, and not terribly dissimilar. I was disappointed my mule wasn't served in a mule mug. Overall, it's a fun place with solid service, but if you're looking for a meal or interesting drinks, you might want to eat beforehand and come here for the vibe. I don't think I'll be back.

So to keep me safe I always order a side salad, but I needed a little protein so I also ordered some grilled chicken on the side with ranch dressing. Most of the way through my salad the started to turn in my stomach. Once the spicy chicken came out, I requested to send it back, due to the menu not specifying that the spicy chicken is only grilled chicken with Sriracha sauce poured it all over it. The menu specifies grilled with spices. Not true unfortunately. I decided to eat the grilled chicken that was plain and again my stomach started to turn. I honestly couldn't figure out if it was the chicken, the salad or the ranch dressing that was not sitting right in my stomach and boy! Let me tell you later on that evening. I ended up in the middle of the night not in the best situation. I unfortunately had food poisoning of some sort.
