We are updating our review after ten years. Our last one was back when we were just visiting the island, before we decided to move here eight years ago. Honest take: the food and service can sometimes be hit or miss, and there is a lot of staff turnover. For example, The double burger is kind of unnecessary. It is two thick patties just piled on top of each other, and honestly, just make one really good burger and call it a day or give me a double smash burger. If you put the right toppings on it, you do not need two. It sounds good in theory but it just is not. You usually can't go wrong with a fish sandwich or entrée though. But what I really want to highlight now is that they are finally offering happy hour, something they have never done before, and it is a huge benefit to the locals who are here all summer long supporting this venue. The $10 bites are genuinely nice options, including peel and eat shrimp, fish dip, two sliders, beef barbacoa tacos, quesadillas, and tempura green beans. And the $8 margaritas and lychee martinis are something to write home about. Happy hour under the tiki bar has never been better now that there are specials. read more

Pay attention to your check. Nowhere on the menu doe it state there is a share charge. They also do not put the cost of a premium side. Nine dollars is absolutely ridiculous. For nine dollars I can buy two bags of asparagus. We got six spears. CRAZY. The last four times we visited this restaurant we requested sautéed spinach which we saw on one of the entrées. And RECEIVED IT at NO EXTRA CHARGE. The Manager Garfield came over and challenged us that it's nowhere on the menu. Since when was the customer ever right???? WOW! He lost. However, he still refused to let us order the spinach. Anyway, we receive our bill for a $42 grouper entrée and were charged $55. Sometimes it's just the principal! Customer service! The jalapenos with the fish dip on the crackers make it so much better. We got Ceviche and the Mahi sandwich. I came here with my family after a boat excursion and we weren't super hungry, so we just shared a couple of the animal-style fish tacos--and wow, these were some of the best fish tacos I've ever had! Funny enough, our boat tour guide recommended it, and we've been grateful ever since. The bartender who helped us was also really sweet. Singer Island location is great for this marina. The large bar and beautiful outdoor setting makes it just ideal if you want to appreciate your surroundings and the weather. Food was fine. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because of the very slow service. However, the food was great! We ate many things off the menu including the pei oysters, smoked fish dip, mahi mahi ceviche, and fried grouper sandwich. I found everything to be great, with the oysters being the best thing we ordered. The fish dip wasn't very flavorful but it was good, I would have like more of a smokey flavor. The fried grouper was excellent. We ordered an espresso martini and a mango mojito both were great. The restaurant is very large and on the water with large windows so the views are beautiful. It was quite loud inside but, what do you expect on a busy day? We would come back for some of the fresh seafood! read more

The fish doesn't get any fresher and the view doesn't get any better than at the Sailfish Marina restaurant. We stopped by for lunch and sat outside to enjoy the water view (and the lovely boats docked at the marina). A few of us enjoyed the chicken Caesar wraps, which were large and came with a side of delicious fries or coleslaw and a delightful Caesar dressing. A few others had the poke bowl. It was extremely spicy and lacked some ingredients they were expecting in this type of dish. It included lettuce, avocado and some bread crisps, which helped to offset the spiciness a bit. The blackened mahi tacos, which included cheese and onions, were flavorful and quite good. The service was very good, and the server was pleasant and cheerful. Will we return? Probably so but will certainly ask about the spice level of the menu items. read more

Hoped to have a nice lunch here with four coworkers. The location, atmosphere, and service were good, but the food was a huge disappointment. The crab dip was basically cheese sauce with a few tiny frozen shrimp and no crab, the sushi was no better than prepackaged Publix sushi, the sweet potato fries came out cold and had to be sent back, and the cocktails were overly sweet and syrupy. First, let me see the venue is absolutely fantastic and the tiki bar is fantastic. We decided to go inside and eat dinner... The staff was excellent inside as well as our waitress was perfect. However, the food had a lot to be desired... The coleslaw tasted really old the barbecue chicken was good, but this is something anybody could make it home better the mac & cheese was inedible. A beautiful marina with fish swimming right by the dock and good view of the sunset. Just that alone is worth visiting this restaurant. Now, the food. I had the Gnocchi Thermidor on one visit, the Braised Short Rib on another and the Seafood Risotto on my last visit. They were all delicious. Second night on Singer Island and Yelp ordered me to try this restaurant. First it was quite rainy and they have Valet parking so I think no problem. Well we got there a little early and Valet was not there. I called and was told valet doesn't start until 5 PM. Hmmm So we drove around a bit and parked. No further comments. Back to the restaurant. 5 PM and Valet is open. Yeah You must keep in mind that this is a large complex. Both indoor and outdoor seating. A separate bar outside and one inside. A store with T shirts and souvenirs, etc. Lastly a marina with skiffs to Yachts. So the food, we were seated near a window so rain or not we had a good seat. Mrs. E had the stuffed shrimp which she really likes. I had their Florida Paella which was way more than I could eat. Dinner ambience and service was great. I have reviewed this establishment before and recently went there this past Monday (11/17/25) and as consistent as the time, the Sailfish never disappoints! My wife & I had an appetizer style dinner with fish dip, mahi mahi bites, ceviche & tempura style green beans and each item was fantastic! The service as always is very good and coming at night time gives you that tropical vibe like a luau in Hawaii. If on Singer Island or anywhere northern Palm Beach County put this on the to do list for a fun restaurant experience. Second time visiting the Sailfish Marina. After having a drink at their outside Tiki bar we were seated for dinner ( opted for inside seating and it threatened to rain ...and it did ). Our server Eric was courteous, attentive and very professional. Eric was extremely knowledgeable with the menu and specials, assisting some with their selections. The outside entertainment moved indoors and provided some easy listening music while we ate. Food selections, although small, were expertly prepared. The shrimp & crab dip and tempura beans were out of this world. The grouper tacos, yellow tail snapper and blackened swordfish were all cooked to perfection and I'd highly recommend them all. If you're just looking for a drink there is a small bar inside with limited seating but I'd recommend the Tiki bar outside offering great views of the marina and sunsets. read more

My favorite place to go while visiting. We've been coming here for years and I just love it. The food is great. Services always fantastic. You can sit inside or outside. You can drive there or come in by boat. my kids love purchasing bait at the gift shop and feeding the large jack fish off the dock. It's more of an experience than just going for a meal or docking your boat. Everything is always clean and well-kept. The bathrooms a little snug, but makes up for it with decor. Food was below expectations but the location is great. You are paying for the location which provides a fantastic view of the marina and water. Very relaxing. In short, the service and food do not match the menu pricing. It's priced like a high-end restaurant, which it is not. Great bar-like environment right on the water. We started with the fried calamari which was over half tentacles. I understand that some tentacles are necessary, but these are not generally appealing to most people. Additionally, the rings were very wide. Too big to eat in one bit and too thick to bite. My guests were pleased with the BBQ chicken and shrimp scampi. The BBQ chicken came with mac & cheese which was very good but the provided biscuit was not. The shrimp with the scampi was very big and cooked well. The flank steak felt over marinated and that's all you could taste. The clam chowder was good. This feels more like a great lunch or casual dinner place to enjoy the water and boat view, but you pay high-end prices for that. The service was poor. I was watching 3 waitresses and 2 gentlemen bussing tables. Not a single smile to be found on anyone. Drink refills only occurred when requested. The food was put down in front of us so abruptly that you could hear the plate smack down on the table. It sort of felt like one of those gigantic BBQ pit places where food is thrown on tables in volume and speed. It's hard to find another restaurant with such a great view but I struggle with average food, questionable pricing and poor service experience. read more

Have gone twice in same past week. First visit on Saturday evening was pretty good except for the downstairs bar. Pretty bad service at the downstairs bar, and certainly for a Saturday night. Douglas was very good though in the regular restaurant. The Moroccan Spiced Salmon was very good and so was the Macademia Grouper. Returned another evening this past Tuesday with a third person. My mother was in town, staying at a resort down the way and wanted to go here for dinner. Oddly enough my mother in law also recommended we go here. Parking is a little confusing but we parked somewhere and entered though a side door, then walked across the restaurant to get a table. We were eating early so it wasn't that crowded. The kids loved the fish tank and the décor was interesting. I'm not sure why we sat inside, maybe our group size, but outside looked like the way to go. Everyone that we spoke with was friendly and I believe the manager came by at some point to check on us. It was a nice experience and the food came out in a timely fashion. Everyone got something different, I ordered a Cesar salad and some ahi tuna poke. I've had better Cesar salads from a bag in the grocery store. The poke was fine but again, nothing special. We ordered some fried calamari and the trend continued, it was very mediocre. My wife, my mom and her husband all ordered breaded fish. My mom loved it and thought it was great, my wife didn't finish hers offering it to my mom. Kids loved their hot dogs! Unfortunately the food was not great and to add insult to injury prices you pay do not match the quality of food you get. Not surprising this is a busy place right on the waterway overlooking the marina facing west for spectacular sunsets. We arrived without any reservations, but put our name in and sat at the bar for less than an hour. Wait, where we were seated right on the water, our server was very attentive and they had stone crabs, which are generally fairly expensive, but I splurged in order the french fries going by looked amazing so we had to get a basket of those and my wife got steamed shrimp. Seafood, artists, and sunsets - - - - - - - - December, 2024 Visit My wonderful wife and I, along with our daughter, were able to visit Palm Beach / West Palm Beach / Riviera Beach in December, the week before Christmas... it was a wonderful trip. The first few day brought some wind and less-than-spectacular sunsets. Then the skies were clear in the day and the sunset so nice. As we crossed the bridge to get onto Singer Island, we turned right hoping to find a view of the glowing western sky, and we discovered Sailfish Marina resort. That night they had local artists showing and selling their paintings, jewelry, candles, conch fritters and more. I got us signed up for outside table while we looked and shopped, while enjoying a beautiful sunset, complete with Christmas lights on the nearby palm trees. Once seated, Sakhi provided wonderful service. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews about a restaurant but this one really needs a heads up about its food, from an appetizer to the main course, for both my wife and I had for dinner. I ordered the calamari and it was overcooked causing it be tough to chew. Tonight because we have been eating fish since we arrived last week, it was time for a change so I ordered a half BBQ chicken for my dinner meal. When it arrived, the 1/2 chicken was just bigger than a large pigeon doused in BBQ sauce. Then when I cut into the chicken, it was as dry as my the napkin on my table. The dinner came with Mac and cheese as a side and when I broke through the brown top, I realized that someone forgot to add the milk or cream for cheese; I thought my chicken was dry but the Mac and cheese took a very close second to chicken, unfortunately. My wife ordered fish and chips and well, her meal wasn't much better, unfortunately. But hey, the beer was cold and delicious. Another fun night out with the team bon appétit, and this time we tried Selffish Marina what a wild and amazing spot! The first thing that grabs you is the tiki bar outside, right on the Intracoastal. The view is unreal fancy yachts cruising by, palm trees swaying, and a relaxed vibe that makes you instantly feel like you're on vacation. The tiki bar has its own menu, perfect for grabbing drinks and apps to start the evening, but the main dining room is where the real magic happens. We went all in on seafood, and it did not disappoint. To kick things off, we shared a few starters -- the wild mushroom ceviche with citrus and lavosh crackers was a surprise favorite, plus a lineup of hand-rolled sushi: California roll, spicy tuna roll, and their loaded JB roll. Everything was super fresh and packed with flavor. For mains, we all ordered something different so we could sample a little of everything. The lobster tail stuffed with shrimp in chardonnay butter sauce was rich and decadent, the seafood risotto had a perfect saffron kick with clams, mussels, and shrimp, and the Floridian Paella stole the show with its mix of lobster, shrimp, chicken, chorizo, and fresh fish every bite felt like the best parts of land and sea coming together. Love eating dinner at the Sailfish Marina Resort! Really cool spot. Restaurant situated right on the water (the marina), and if you sit outside you have a great view of the boats, the pelicans, and everything going on (lots of action). They usually have live music playing outside (and sometimes inside), and it is a very relaxed atmosphere. Ambiance is what makes this place 10/10. They do not take reservations, but if there is a long wait you can grab a table, Adirondack chair, or a hightop at their Tiki Hut right next door (they serve drinks and a limited bar menu). As for the food, I have been impressed by most dishes so far (we've been a few times). I didn't care for the spicy tuna roll (sushi), it was bland and had way too much rice (proportions were off). The wedge salad (steak substituted for the salmon) was really refreshing, and had a beautiful presentation. The calamari was fresh, the batter was light and crispy, and it paired well with both the marinara sauce and the tartar sauce (asked for it as extra). My current favorite item on the menu are the grilled beef tips (with onions on Gorgonzola toast). The steak was very tender, cooked to a medium rare, and the flavors of each piece popped in your mouth. Service is always OK- a little slower when they're busy. Sometimes hard to find a hostess to even put your name on the list. But everyone has been very friendly, each time we've been here, and makes our time enjoyable. The outdoor tables are all covered by umbrellas, but have plenty of exposure to the sun (some more than others). Once the sun sets, tiki torches are lit that look beautiful next to the water. Will definitely continue to come back! Note: you can dock here with your boat if there's availability AND you can have the restaurant cook whatever fish you caught for the day. We have been coming here for years. A few weeks ago I ordered a Greek salad (delicious) and asked to add a piece of fish to the salad. My fault for not asking how much the addition would be, it does not say on the menu like most restaurants do. I was surprised when they brought the fish out completely separate from the salad but shocked when i got the bill with a charge for $36 for the fish in addition to the cost of the salad. I questioned the server and he said that they charge for the whole meal when adding a piece of fish to a salad. If that is the case I suggest telling your patron when they order and bring them the side dishes that go with the whole meal. We will not be back. read more
