Pros: Dr. Damian was very kind, caring and patient to answer any question as this was first visit at an optometry. THANK YOU for your service!   Cons: Unfortunately, it took close to a month to receive my glasses. Staff informed me it would take about 7-10 business days upon my first visit. I called in on the 8th day, they had not received them. I called on the 10th day for an update, staff then lets me know my order was not received correctly, therefore they needed to resubmit my order. Coming on the 3rd week of waiting, I again call in for an update, they DO have my glasses! She asked to place me on hold to double check the order came in correct this time. Extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and effort to keep me updated. read more

My sister and i have been patients for Optica Damian optometry since we were small. Yolanda has the best customer service ever she's been there since we started going and is always so welcoming but they have someone else who answers the phones, sometimes covers the front and is just the rudest person ever! She's been rude before but since I've been going for so long and love this location I have always just ignored the attitude but this time around I've had enough I was trying to make an appointment for both of my kids to go in and she was just so so rude and said was not willing to work with my schedule I was going to work around whatever they had available. My sister called this afternoon trying to get an appointment to get contacts and same she answered and was just so rude. Unfortunately I don't think I or my kids will be going back even though I love the Dr and Yolanda! read more

She and her assistants have such a great way with children - they made her very comfortable and happy to come. My twin boys, 7, have been seen by Dr. Damian for years and she is the best! Optica Damian is very professional and helpful, starting with their receptionists. The phone calls to the office for scheduling are always answered promptly and the receptionists are always friendly and helpful with setting appointments and order frames and lenses. During each appointment, Dr. Damian was very kind and knowledgeable while examining my boys and recommending what would be best for their vision. She has a tender way with children and always made them feel comfortable and she even made them laugh! Dr. Damian goes above and beyond to answer every and all questions, and she is really dedicated to helping improve my boys' vision. We traveled more than an hour to see her, because she's really the best around OC and LA! The office has a great selection of frames for kids and adults too.
