My wife got replacement lenses for her computer glasses and now can't wear them because they're worse than the old ones. I got replacement lenses for my progressives, and there's now a rainbow effect when I look through the top or bottom edge near the frame. Plus the distance prescription in them is not as clear as in the bifocal they made me just a few months earlier. When I took mine back and told them, they "checked the lenses" and told me the prescription was right, and that I should go back to my eye doctor. Yeah, right.

However, there is one service absent at Community Vision. When you pick up your glasses, the staff doesn't check them. Every other optometrist I have ever gone to has made sure my new glasses fit. I even told the woman that the glasses were really loose; they needed to be tightened. She had that deer in the headlights look. I know she worked there, but did she? I didn't think one star was fair, but I was very disappointed with the service received. And, I still wear my old glasses. What a waste. Don

I was given a thorough exam that was more efficient than my regular eye doctor. The latest technology was used. I was given an eye exam by the doctor and he was very professional and courteous. I came out with contact lenses and an eye glass prescription if I choose. It was a great experience for me!

This is going to sound hilarious but i've had not one but two confrontational experiences with the…read morethug-like "optometrists" at this establishment. One a k-pop dude i asked for a courtesy pair of contact lenses like i always do for 15 years while awaiting my new supply being ordered and i hear him from his office yell what! (the girl employee had to ask unfortunately for some reason) and he personally storms over and slams on the table in front of me with a very confrontational look to say the least. The other in Glendale, Arizona (ha ha) actually during my consultation the "doc" uncomfortably starts ignoring my questions and begins backtalking even questioning why am i clutching an old contact lens case (none of his business) and i just sort of start edging out of there. Now both of these occasions were near closing time and maybe they were having bad days but i've never seen a professional act like this ever period. But on the plus side everyone else was real friendly even trying to save you money and sure beats an overcrowded costco.

Now I realize prescription is off. I went back to the optical and they will not retest. Very disappointing and not great customer service. They say you only have 2 months to re-do.
