She always takes her time with them & is respectful & kind to our special request regarding our health choices. I've personally been going through a healing cancer journey for the last 7 years and I could not imagine a better doctor than Dr. Azar by my side. He is willing & happy to move mountains to make sure that I'm getting the right care & support. He is incredibly knowledgeable beyond just allopathic medicine. My podiatrist provided service and billed Optum! It is continuing ,treatment and Optimal paid for it in the past! In May, Optum denied payment as not covered service. However, a week later during a conference call,with Optum and Health Net it was established that the service is covered and Optum's responsibility to pay. To date, 1/3/26 it has not been paid and is being turned over to a collection service. Avoid any medical group that uses Optum. It can result in ruining your credit score!​ read more

I arrived at their office at 3pm. All the workers were in the lobby inflating balloons and told me they were not taking any more patients for the day. A female worker told me they were no longer extended care as of Friday but that the changes were not made yet (that made no sense). The website still listed them as open and also as extended care. I asked what time they closed. She said 5pm but that the doctor was at lunch and would not see anyone else. Anthony Pinner PA is unprofessional and rude. My brother went in because he was told he needed a CT scan and in order to get a referral he needed to see his doctor. Mind you his doctor is never in so he sees Anthony Pinner PA who told my brother the first time when my brother handed him his documents from his emergency room stay. Anthony Pinner told my brother this is to much paper to go over. WTH! My brother had pancreatic infection two blood clots fluid in his lungs. ER recommended CT. Anthony Pinner sent him to endocrine who he said would put in a request for CT . Endocrine stated his pcp was supposed to. So my brother went back and Anthony Pinner PA gave him a ultrasound. If they would of scanned his medical documents in the first time they would of had his records. Nope since it was to much documents he gave them back to my brother. The drs here don't test you for anything. They will prescribe you things and not test for anything. I was asked if i, myself took a covid test. Then the dr prescribed me a z pack and some other stuff normally for Covid. I had flu like symptoms. Went to a different urgent care. Not only did they test me for Covid which I didn't have but strep as well. I almost passed out at this urgent care and they didn't care nor did they carry ice packs. This place I will never go to again. They check your breathing, ears, and inside your mouth and scoot you out the door. Go to an accelerated urgent care they will run a full exam on you. The dr u saw today told me to stop taking one of the meds this dr prescribed because it has worse side effects. (Hallucinations/dizziness/etc) which it was giving me the worst vertigo of my life! Vista Medical Group in Corona is the worst office I have ever encountered, and I'm not even a patient! I called the office at 951-549-0900 to ask general questions on behalf of my sister-in-law, who had a stroke and can no longer speak. First, I spoke to Perla, in medical records, who interrupted every word I said and didn't let me speak. When I complained, she left me on hold. I hung up and tried to call back, but they saw my number and hung on my like 10 times! I finally blocked my number and they picked up! what a coincidence. I spoke to the Manager, who said we are having phone issues...yeah right. She was just as rude as Perla! awful...and she's the manager?? Please beware of this place. read more

Avoid any branch of Vista Medical Group if you care about your health and value your time. The staffs are not trained or helpful. There were some good doctors over the years but they left. The doctor turnover rate is high you almost never get to see the same doctor. They always hire really rude staffs like Rosa or Linda Nguyen, or the incompetent nurse practitioner Janet (who gave me the wrong lab order and medication, as told by the specialist). Imagine you're sick and you're in pain, you don't get to see your usual doctor because there is no appointment until 1 month later. But you can see whoever is available there and give you the wrong medication or wrong lab work (have to take 1 day off work to do the lab). And being treated by the rude staffs as if you're an inconvenience to them. The staffs never process the paperwork's on time and sometimes they even forget to submit it. I have it up to my neck and I blamed myself that I did not switch doctor sooner!!! This office has wasted so much of my previous time and risked my health! read more

The front desk Hispanic girl was yelling at me and my 76 year old mother to go sit when all we did was ask to talk to the doctor. The Filipina nurse was being unhelpful. So I asked to speak to a doctor god forbid someone ask to speak to a doctor. Absolutely disgusting front desk. This Hispanic girl had no respect for a senior who just fell on the ground and has a big bump on their head. Instead of being helpful and asking if we need anything I had to push to talk to a doctor. Check in at 12:30 PM, my appointment is at 12:40 pm, got the paper work, filled them up, let us say it took me 30 minutes to fully fill out everything, time passes till I realized it is 02:30 PM, so it is been two complete hours in the clinic setting waiting to see the doctor. I ask the receptionist at 02:35 pm she said sorry we are little behind and the doctor is little behind with patients, I told here then you shouldn't schedule more appointments, it took me more than 45 days to schedule the appointment and when I come on it I waiting 2 hrs you guys should respect my time, I have things and responsibilities to do and you telling me little behind. I first gave Dr. Azar himself 5-stars, as he is a good and decent man and doctor, and always enjoyable during my many visits there. He got me to switch to being a vegetarian too! He appears to genuinely care for his patients and is doing a great job. Yelp is bugging me to review the office staff as well, lol. My experience in that realm is hit and miss, mostly MISS. I am not sure why this is and am a bit confused by it all. I would love to say more, but will reserve that for later. UPDATE-down to 1-star: I will have to agree with a great deal of the reviews here that give this medical group 1 star, primarily due to the support staff. They are just AWFUL. Stuck up and full of themselves, uncaring, super rude, never answer their emails, put you on hold and pass you person-to-person to try to get rid of you, and screw up appointments and referrals constantly. I don't care if you as a professional nurse/secretary feel assured in your responses, if the patient doesn't, then you figure out a way to best explain the answers to the questions being asked without the covert disrespect or you find someone else whose able to. Just because you're having a bad day or don't like the patient that your job requires you to attend to doesn't warrant your lack of respect. If & when the contempt is returned then you'll want to play victim and gossip false narratives. Some aren't privileged enough to know the patients entire medical history & for that Reason incorrectly assume that everyone is the same or can speak openly without consequence. Even the phlebotomist at labcorp wanted her name to report the unprofessionalism she was subjected to when calling their office to verify a lab request. It's not the establishment as a whole that's bad, it's certain individuals who bring negativity to the establishment as a whole that give it a bad name. Hopefully the employees won't follow the lead of an overly emotional female who doesn't know how to lead. Front desk was friendly and efficient. Waited in a HOT room for a doctor for over an hour. Doctor was not polite or caring upon arrival. Then the doctor told me my son either had a virus or a bacterial infection and he wasn't sure which but prescribed antibiotic anyway. They make many errors that will cost you time and money. For instance, the second to the last time I was there they gave me my receipt at the end that had my name right at the wrong address and phone number- belonging to another guy with my name -clearly a HIPAA violation. This also created a big mess in trying to get my prescriptions refilled. On my last visit the physician assistant (you'll typically get a younger PA, not a seasoned doctor), gave me an order for an ultrasound and put the wrong information in the check box. It wasn't till after I scheduled my ultrasound and showed up with my paperwork did the tech notice the error. I went to Vista because they are in my #Cigna "in-network" and wanted to save a few bucks - my mistake. (Speaking of Cigna- all their In-Network DRs and centers near me have the lowest customer satisfaction and yelp reviews- why is that Cigna? What's that say about Cigna's quality of care?) On the positive side, I did have two other visits that they did just fine for me- they were on target and reasonably quick about it. Hit and miss I guess. But I'll be going to Norco Urgent care next time. read more

I came in to Urgent Care just before 9:30 AM. Saw Dr. Carrington regarding a bladder infection peeing blood. I called my pharmacy over 3 hours later & they still had not received the RX from Dr. Carrington. I called the Urgent Care & got Wendy on the phone, she was very nice tried to get the RX called in. When I went to pick up the RX, there was no antibiotic.... I called the Urgent care and this time got a guy named Trinidad and explained the situation. He said that the Dr. was in a room with a patient and he would call me back. After about a half hour I still hadn't heard from him and it was 6:37 PM by then so I called him back. He was useless and rude & kept saying that I was not their only patient. He was very unprofessional and does not belong interacting with patients. What a waste of oxygen. I went back to this Urgent care and Frances tried to diffuse the situation. Not once did Dr. Carrington come to the phone, call or come out. It took over 9- hours to finally get what I needed. I highly recommend switching doctors if you haven't experienced another other then this low quality group of individuals. I came in last year for a physical & wasn't feeling completely there (Mentally & Physically). I had some concerns I wanted checked & everything was dismissed by there doctor with the worse attitude I've dealt with. I was repeatedly told I'm young & there's nothing wrong with me. Followed by I should probably stop working out. (What doctor tells someone to stop working out) I got my blood work done with labcorp. If I didn't sign up for an account to view my results I wouldn't have known that my wbc, vitamin b12, Vitamin D3, & a number of others were abnormally low. I finally switched doctors after years of being signed up with these shady individuals. Best decision I have made. I already have an appointment to go over my blood work & to see a specialist in regards to my gastric issues. I checked my records & it was Anthony Pinner at the time of my appointment. This guy needs his medical license revoked. Does not need to be a doctor & have other peoples health in his hands. I was so ill and they judge me and they kept me out of work for 3 months! Dr. Azar, the only doctor they have is an extremely rude, condescending, and distracted person who has an attention span of a toddler. He's impulsive, always distracted, rushed and never listens to you. When you say you need some questions answered, he starts yelling and tells you that he doesn't have time for you as he has many more patients to see. WTF After waiting over 40 minutes with nothing, I finally said why have I not been helped and the past 2 people that came in after me have got helped and already left. I have worked in medicine for over 30 years in a number of capacities. I have never been in an office so disorganized. Prescription refills do not happen. They never contact you regarding lab results. My husband is DM2. He had protein in his urine, his A1c is high, plus a number of other abnormalities. That was three months ago and no word. I called with bladder symptoms and was told they could get me in in two weeks. The ppl that answer the phones and make appointments are not the least bit educated. I've been denied refills, being told I need to be seen, while already having an appt on the books. There is no consistency in this practice. I made an appt for the bladder symptoms. They were doing a culture. The first one out of the cupboard was incomplete, the second one was used for the culture, BUT the EMPTY culture kit was sent to Quest. It's pathetic and also very dangerous. Not worth the trouble or medical risk. read more

I was turned away this morning from urgent care and told to just let my antibiotics kick in. Didn't even bother to let me see the doctor. I'm on day 3 of antibiotics and I'm getting worse and I'm in pain. I understand antibiotics take time, but a consultation with possibly prescribing additional medication to help me be more comfortable until they do kick in would have been nice. The only reason I came here was because they open an hour earlier than other urgent cares and I was in sever pain and discomfort. My otc cold meds arent doing enough to help me. I've seen other reviews along the same line of being denied. They did offer me a phone visit as I was crying and leaving which I did say yes to, but later denied. I already told you what was going on and all they had to say was let them kick in, essentially suck it up. What makes you think I'm now going to be comfortable telling you AGAIN what's wrong and expect a different answer from you. What a joke. I ended up going elsewhere and was listened to and prescribed more meds and different antibiotics because of my severity. On October 22,2023, I took my husband to Vista Urgent Care in Corona. My husband and I cannot begin to express our satisfaction with the staff, from the front desk, Ms Grace, to the Medical Assistant/X-Ray Tech, Ms Millie Castillo and the PA, Ms Maggie Carpio. As soon as we entered the clinic, we felt comfortable and felt the positive vibes. Each and every one of them was courteous, professional and made our visit as comfortable as they possibly could. Our wait time in waiting room and the exam room was quick. PA Maggie Carpio took the time to listen and to answer all our questions and she made us feel like we were the only patient there. She didn't rush through things. We both are very satisfied with the care and attention that we have received from her. Thank you so much, Dr. Carpio for caring and for being so compassionate . And to Ms Millie Castillo, she is very friendly and she presented herself in a positive, professional manner. Thank you so much for the caring and friendly can do attitude and smiles. We brought our daughter to Vista Urgent Care after she injured her arm doing gymnastics. She was called back and x-rayed promptly by Millie, who was very reassuring and friendly. The PA on duty, Carrington Horton, was very knowledgeable and had excellent bedside manner. He was able to quickly read the x-ray, reduce her pain level, carefully provide her a splint, and advise us on next steps. The staff here helped my daughter through a very scary situation and we were pleased with the service we received. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location to others. read more

They should probably reconsider the sign on their wall that says "your referrals are the best compliments", considering they obviously offer zero customer service training to their employees. Got hurt at work. My company sends me to Vista with my Worker's Comp insurance company name (it's a large carrier) and claim #. I call on my way, they say "as long as you have your claim #, that's all we need!" I get there and meet Ms. "I didn't get my lunch break" and she was NOT going to budge. Apparently because the insurance company had not faxed (who faxes anymore??) them authorization, they wouldn't see me. I asked her to call them, she said "you can call them". I asked her again to assist me, she refused. We walked out. What a joke. Went to another local UC and they helped me immediately with the same info I was offering to give her. Obviously they got what they needed to get paid and Vista isn't interested in that, or making customers happy. I live nearby. I will NEVER go to Vista again for any UC needs. Horrible. read more
