My wife came in yesterday to get a prescription for her infection. She is breastfeeding a newborn…read moreand made that clear to the doctor. However, when the prescription was fulfilled, the pharmacist advised not to take it if breastfeeding an infant at his age. We then reached back out to the doctors office while they were open and talked to their call center staff who reached out to the office. A different doctor responded and said not to take that medicine as it says it shouldn't be taken by an infant under 1 month. So we asked if they could write us a new prescription. The staff member said now that they were closed we'd have to wait until the next day. We said we were going to go to a different urgent care to get a new prescription and we asked if we could get our co-pay back. When we were enroute, someone else from their call center called us and said that she'd try reaching out to the doctor directly who wrote the prescription to see if he could send a new prescription; but that she wasn't sure he'd answer. We were ok with this and advised that we again weren't going to wait for another day due to the infection causing fever, chills, etc... so were enroute to another urgent care. Once arriving at the other urgent care and just prior to getting checked in, they called back and advised they would send out a new prescription. The issue this time was now they sent it to a closed pharmacy and we had to ask them to transfer it to an open one. But when they transferred it, the insurance then denied covering 3 medicines for the same illness due to it being asked to treat the same infection 3 times. So we had to pay out of pocket for the new medicine at the pharmacy that was now open. It's ridiculous that the doctors here don't listen. We've also had issues with our physicals being done here as they'll send them to the lab with the wrong GL codes. Needless to say, we're moving our PCP's away from this office and will chose another Urgent care for treatment around town. They could make this right by refunding us our co-pay, but i doubt they'll even read this review.

Fast forward to this week, I call to confirm my appointment and I'm told they don't have one for me until May, another 5 weeks without medication. When I asked how this could have happened, the person I was talking with said they don't know, and there's nothing that could be done. The level of professionalism is seriously lacking with their appointment setter and level of care provided when speaking with someone that had a genuine concern for their own health, wasn't just disrespectful, but to brush it off as they did was more upsetting than them dropping the ball on my appointment. I hope their calls are recorded so management can pull the call and hear it for themselves. I had to call my insurance and change PCP's, my new doctors office heard what happened, seen me today and got me all squared away. If you're having issues being seen, I'd recommend trying other providers, because while I'm sure Dr. Baluyut is a fine physician, his office staff needs a serious reality check.

Both of my daughters had appointments here for prescription refills. The doctor billed for a exam…read morethat he did not do (they never even removed any clothing) and sent urine samples to the lab (which I was also billed for) for tests they did not request. The prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy incorrectly even though they provided the office with the full prescription. I was told Cigna would cover these visits as preventive at 100% because it was simply a prescription refill but I was billed the full amount by this office and the lab. I attempted to correct it for 6 months and now at the risk of being sent to collections, I am just going to pay the $250 because the office manager will not change the charge to preventive (which it was) and billed for a whole new patient visit (which he was in the room less than 3 minutes). The doctor did not do any examination as was billed for and did tests that were not requested or supported by the diagnosis. In addition, the care was crappy and the wait was long. Do not go here unless you like disappointment and frustration.

I will not allow my parents to come back to this place ever again.

The TV Screen in the waiting room gave me clear expectations of my estimated waiting time and place in line which also helped ease my anxiety and uncertainty! Mildred called me in within the time frame listed and did a wonderful job thoroughly recording my vitals for the Provider. I appreciated Mildred's fun and flavorful personalized badge holders which added extra Sports Nerd pizzazz into the Atmosphere, and I was so delighted to see Dr. Igbinosun as my Provider! Dr. Igbinosun has assisted me before and is very quick, stern, and caring when it comes to providing helpful feedback and guidance on how to heal efficiently. Dr. Igbinosun listened attentively to my requests for topical ointment over cream and also prescribed me antibiotics to help the bacterial infection from spreading. I checked in for an appointment 10 minutes earlier and my estimated wait time was 27-42 minutes even though I had an appointment. They send you a text message before your assigned appointment explains that if you are 10 minutes late your appointment will be canceled. But when you arrive they want your payment upfront. Should waive payment if they are over 10 minutes from your assigned appointment. However, their monitor is very inaccurate and misleading as it informs you in real-time what approximate wait time is. The problem is that is was way off. I was not called into the office until 1 hour and 18 minutes. Then it took another 19 minutes for the physician to see me in the exam room. Dr was friendly and I diagnosed and exited the room after 2 minutes after being seen. A couple observations were made from this experience. 1. You are better off getting a better wait time but reporting in person and returning. 2. Just go to ER. I did not see the benefit for making an online appointment. Total waste of time! This is so sad because the VA contracts with this establishment and after this experience I am writing to the VA to inform that they should not renew and future contracts if this is how they treat veterans! I literally could have waited less by driving to the VA hospital ER and getting a better treatment.
