Don't ever sleep on Ivy's drink game. Their food is ridiculously good, but their drink menu is right up there. The Hyde is somewhat of an Ivy Margarita inspiration and YOU need to try it. Okay, I'm going to ask for some grace regarding my pictures as I was taking my last bites, when I realized I forgot to shoot the plates untouched. The seating host and servers we met during this experience were very nice. I ordered the mushroom coffee: forest & meadow mushroom medicinal powder, served with a shot of espresso. I received a large, hot mug of beverage with artistic crema decor. Could not discern mushroom flavor save the grit at the bottom of the cup, but I can now say I've tried it. My eggs and salad dish came out next, along with an order of their toasted sourdough bread, butter and jam I ordered (their specialty). Unfortunately, the toast was cold, as was the liquidy fruit jam. Butter was ice cold out of the frig too since it has been forgotten and needed to be retrieved. The small green salad was fresh and tasty, but the two scrambled eggs were cold and rubbery. It was hard to know who was out server because aside from the seating hostess, four more people arrived, one after the other, at varying times to get the meal and forgotten items to our small party of three. I was left feeling that more training and organized timing of meals is needed at this establishment.

While the drinks were pricey--as drinks typically are at a hotel bar--they were also delicious. It was the space that made it so nice, though. We were outside in a place semi-protected from the elements; so even though it was hot at the time, the evening shade and the breeze made it quite lovely. There was a great variety of sitting and standing space, making it nice for moving from group to group and talking with new people. This would be a really nice place to come on a date, too. There was no peppery flavor at all. My cocktail, on the other hand, was delicious and well made (old fashioned) and our server was efficient, helpful, and timely. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere. I've had the crab cake before so I didn't get it this time, and it's as good as people say. It is huge and can be shared with at LEAST two people. I'd likely visit again but I'll probably stay away from these two entrees next time.

Arrived around 7:30 on a Friday night and the next available reservation wasn't until 10:30/10:45. There are about 5-6 dart stations throughout the restaurant that accommodate different group sizes. The seating was open so after roaming a bit cozied into a booth behind the bar where a tv was near by to watch the basketball game. From entrance to exit, everyone was friendly and warm. From my vantage point I observed all of the employees working together to make sure drinks were served quickly, food orders came out hot and guests' needs were met. The cocktail and mocktail was delicious, the lobster elote with seasoned tortillas was very flavorful and entrees did not disappoint. Validation tickets for parking in the parking garage next door is a plus! I'll be going back, have to try the darts!

I was definitely throwing from the "Rookie" line, but it didn't matter, we still had a good time! It was a little cramped but there were quite a few of us in there so understandable. With this private booth, we had a selection of appetizers, a dessert tower, and unlimited booze. Of the appetizers, the buffalo chicken sliders were my favorite and the desserts (cannoli, cream puffs, double-chocolate cookies to name a few) were surprisingly good! The bar staff working that evening were pleasant and accommodating, ensuring we all had a drink in one hand and a plate of food within arms' reach. All-in-all, I had a fun time at Flight Club St. Louis, I'd come back for a few rounds of darts and drinks!

I was totally impressed here. The bartender was super friendly and was a master mixologist. He not only made me a refreshing Dirty Martini with Bleu Cheese Olives, he entertained me watching him make other patrons cocktails. I also was impressed by his banter with the customers and how he made everyone feel special. My time was rushed to go meet up with my friends, but I am going back to enjoy more cocktails and experience the food, too.
