Last couple of hours in St Louis before we head back to California and we stumbled upon this spot. We found parking right in front so why not!! Walked in and we were greeted immediately and seated. We placed our orders at the same time but for some reason my friends food arrived like 10 minutes before mine did..... Friend said that his waffles were cold and by the looks of it he wasn't lying as the butter was not even melted, however he did enjoy the wings. I ordered a breakfast bowl and that was good. We decided to order drinks and this is where it went to the left, because again my friend got his drink like 10 min after we ordered it and then I didn't get my drink for about another 10 min after my friend got his drink. Our server noticed and did say she was going to follow up on my drink and then eventually she ended up making the drink herself.. So our food did not arrive at the same time nor did our drinks arrive at the same time. Ambiance over all is nice, the decor and set up is a vibe. Two stars because the floors are super sticky and the drinks are in plastic champagne flutes.

The chicken definitely sweet and spicy with a good crunch but juicy at the same time. The waffle was good but seemed a little too sweet to me but was definitely good too. The service was ok our waitress would forget what we asked for so we're waiting for things longer at times. However when we reached out to other people they were able to help us. The place was a chill vibe. Definitely a spot where you can eat, drink and chill with your girls or something. The Photo Booth was a plus too

I went to this restaurant for the first time a couple weeks ago for brunch. So this review is only on my experience during brunch. I can confidently say that the food was the absolute best brunch I have had all 2026 and that is no exaggeration. The menu was stocked full of yummy items. So we attempted to get most of them to try to test out the food. We had the shrimp and grits, which was super good and savory. Also had the Soulfood eggrolls which had turkey, greens, yams, macaroni and cheese stuffed in it. I got emotional eating them! I also have the chicken and waffles, which was really good. The waffle already had a sweetness and almost taste like a funnel cake. So I really didn't have to put any syrup on it. The chicken was super good and well seasoned. We also had the Biscoff French toast, which was absolutely amazing. I love Biscoff cookies, so to have That with FrenchToast was awesome. The drinks were perfection. The bartenders knows how to make off menu drinks as well, which is a plus in my book. The DJ was playing the type of music I like (90's/2000s R&B) and it first I thought having a DJ was gonna be too distracting, but it actually wasn't. It was a good vibe for brunch. I'm definitely going back for brunch again.

The service is top-notch. Misha is knowledgeable and the perfect trainer for the young man whose name I missed. I am pleased to see the proprietor hires seasoned professionals and not just friends who need jobs. The cocktails are creative. My Drunk In Love was spectacular. A professional bartender makes a difference. The food is great. I was disappointed that they were out of the Shrimp & Grits, the one dish I really wanted. A soul-food restaurant out of Shrimp & Grits? The dessert, advertised as Blueberry Cobbler, is really a blueberry torte or a deconstructed blueberry pie. I'd like to see Soul 2 Soul upgrade to cloth napkins and China paddles over the porous wood. And a working AC when it's 92 degrees. All in all, I recommend Soul 2 Soul.

Came with a party of 10 on Friday. The table was ready and reserved. They allowed us to be seated as we entered (everyone was not there at the same time) which I appreciate! Our waitress, Tiffany I believe, was very nice! We tried everything on the menu. The food is ok. Everything that came to the table was warm which means the food was sitting and waiting to be brought to us for a while. They have great patio space, hookah, and tasty drinks and a DJ after 9pm.

Great Vibes & Affordable Soul Food Got to love a Black-owned restaurant! My mother recently released her first romance novel, Champagne, Live Her Best Life, and after her release party, we needed a place to celebrate. After some deliberation, we decided on Soul 2 Soul, located at 5917 Delmar Blvd, near the Loop. Ambiance & Service From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. Parking was easy with free street parking available. The exterior of the restaurant is lush, and you can smell the delicious food before even stepping inside. The vibe is a mix of upscale dining and a sexy lounge, making it a great spot for a night out. Despite our large group of about 15, we were seated right away, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. The service stood out--our host even ordered a copy of my mother's book, which was such a thoughtful touch! The staff was diverse and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Drinks & Food The drink menu looked tempting, and I heard great things about the Porn Star cocktail. When it came to the food, I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable pricing--most dishes were under $20. The portions aren't huge, but the quality matches the price. I ordered the pot roast with mashed potatoes and veggies, and it was delicious! The gravy with the mashed potatoes was especially good. I also got to try the turkey, which was flavorful, and my mom had the chicken and waffles, which she enjoyed. The chicken had a spicy, Korean-style kick to it. The truffle fries were a crowd favorite at our table, and everyone who ordered them raved about them. The only mixed review was on the ribs--some felt the peanuts threw off the flavor a bit. Final Thoughts A big shoutout to the manager for checking on us multiple times--it really made a difference. Overall, this was a solid first experience at Soul 2 Soul. The food was tasty and affordable, and the atmosphere was perfect for a date night or a fun R&B-filled evening with friends. For my first visit, I'd give them a solid 4.5 out of 5. If you're in the St. Louis area, definitely give this swanky spot a try!

Soul 2 Soul offers a soul food tapas concept similar to what you'll find at Lucy Quinn in The Grove. I've really grown to appreciate the tapas concept of offering small, shareable dishes. You can try a variety of items without stuffing yourself. The interior space is cozy and intimate. There's also an outdoor patio in the back. Both the food & service were on point. Soul 2 Soul seems like a nice hangout spot.

We were looking for places to grab a quick bite and I remembered this from Instagram. Cage here shortly after the opened and were able to get a table very quickly. Our servers were really nice and informative. One was in training and she was very friendly. They went over the tapas style menu and offered some suggestions. We decided to order 4 plates total (expecting we'd order two more if we weren't full, but that was a no-go). Ordered the turkey dumplings, chicken & waffles, sweet potato poutine and turkey dumpling bowl. Whew!!! Everything was really good. I've been to tapas restaurants in the past and these potions were really filling. My favs were the poutine and dumpling bowl. It's hard to find good poutine, and adding in sweet potato fries can go really left but theirs was very flavorful. The pot roast was really good (gravy ) the meat could've been a little more tender but overall good dish. The chicken and waffles weren't bad either, waffle was a little too sweet along with the wing sauce as well. I'm definitely coming back here. I was throughly impressed with the food, vibe (playlist was on point) and service.

It was my first time in town and was told this would be a great place to grab dinner with my girl. I sad to say I was disappointed in the value of food and what I had to pay. The food was not good. The only thing that me and my girl liked was the roast beef but still even with that the veggies on the place were hard and not soft to chew through. The waffles were dry with no syrup on it and the wings were party wings and did not go well with the waffles. The sweet potato fries did not feel like they were cooked all the way to me. The corn bread was really basic. There was nothing special and tasted like it was from straight from the box. I will say the best part of the restaurant is the vibe. I loved the R&B vibes they have in the place and the intimate space. They really out did themselves in those areas. I will also say that the service that I had was great she was very helpful in the choices and very friendly. But I would not come back my next time I'm in the city.

I particularly like how the menu has illustrations of the cocktails so you know how they are served. Plus everything is seasonal! For food, I give it a 4/5. I'm disappointed that it took me so long to make my way here. They won me over with the tiny dedicated parking lot. At my big age, difficult parking situations are a turn off and I will go home if I can't get reasonable parking. I was able to snag a space in the lot and headed in. The space is a bit dark with rich sage, brass, and terracotta. There are several hanging plants making it an inviting place. The bar has plenty of comfortable seating and cozy tables if you decide to bring some friends. Caleb was our server during our visit. He was an absolute delight. He made excellent cocktail suggestions. He looked after our group without being overly doting. Just a gem of a human. We tried approximately 9 cocktails during our visit. Did I mention we were at brunch! I highly recommend the peach bite and the Side Car. Every cocktail is thoughtfully made and well executed. They offer a small brunch menu along with the regular menu. I usually always get chilaquiles when they are available. But today the ruby trout and grits sounded perfect. This dish was amazing!! The trout was thin with crispy skin. The grits were creamy and delicious. The dish is topped with a house made radish pico and salsa macha. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was paired with the crispiest breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The burger and fries are also a good option. The seasoning on the fries is next level. The brunch menu has a sticky toffee roll that is a perfect size for sharing or not. Salty sweet fork tender cinnamon roll. Lastly, the deviled eggs were a group favorite. I am a big fan of Passenger Chili Crisp. If you are unfamiliar please look them up! It's hands down the best chili crisp I've ever had. It's locally made here in STL and can also be found in several dishes at restaurants around town. The eggs were creamy with the right amount of tang from the mustard. The chili crisp made these deviled eggs easily top five best I've ever had! Planning to stop in again soon for happy hour with more friends

Arrived around 7:30 on a Friday night and the next available reservation wasn't until 10:30/10:45. There are about 5-6 dart stations throughout the restaurant that accommodate different group sizes. The seating was open so after roaming a bit cozied into a booth behind the bar where a tv was near by to watch the basketball game. From entrance to exit, everyone was friendly and warm. From my vantage point I observed all of the employees working together to make sure drinks were served quickly, food orders came out hot and guests' needs were met. The cocktail and mocktail was delicious, the lobster elote with seasoned tortillas was very flavorful and entrees did not disappoint. Validation tickets for parking in the parking garage next door is a plus! I'll be going back, have to try the darts!

It was not busy when we were there and we had reservations for a group of six, which is apparently the most you can have on a reservation. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday and everyone got a variety of drinks from the cocktail menu. I got their version of the whiskey sour with the cherry froth on top and it was so good. The waitress said it is the most popular and I can see why I really enjoyed it and would've ordered more if it wasn't so expensive for one drink the table, got a variety of the small bites such as the cheese and the Barada. We showed up without a reservation, which I wouldn't necessarily recommend. We were initially told the wait would probably be around an hour and a half, so reservations are definitely a good idea. Somehow, we got super lucky and received a text that they were ready for us only about 10 or 15 minutes later. We ended up sitting at the bar, which honestly made the experience even better. If you enjoy watching bartenders work their magic, I highly recommend sitting there if you get the chance. The cocktails here are unlike anything we've had before, and it was so much fun watching all the different drinks being made and seeing the creativity that goes into each one. Our bartender, John, was amazing. He was incredibly personable, answered all of our questions, and was genuinely enjoyable to talk to throughout the evening. Between the two of us, we tried four cocktails. I started with the Linea Uno and asked John if he could make it less bitter after the woman sitting next to me mentioned that was an option. It was delicious, although I apparently didn't pay enough attention to the menu when ordering because it was tequila-based, and tequila normally isn't my first choice. The Trade Winds was one of the coolest drinks of the night, made with clarified rum, apricot, and coconut and topped with mango air. The mango air literally looked like bubbles but smelled like mango. Such a unique presentation, and the drink itself was really enjoyable. My husband tried the New York Whiskey Sour, made with clarified whiskey, yuzu, tart cherry, and black lime cordial with a red wine foam. Again, the presentation was beautiful, and it tasted just as good as it looked. My personal favorite was Ankra's Passion Fruit Martini, made with vodka, vanilla, passion fruit, lime, and bubbles. It came with a small glass of champagne on the side, which was a really nice touch. John mentioned that I could drink the champagne separately or add it to the martini as I went. I ended up pouring some into the cocktail, and for me, it balanced out the sweetness of the passion fruit perfectly. The entire speakeasy experience was just fun, from trying to find the entrance to making our way inside and finally settling in at the bar. We took plenty of pictures and videos along the way, but I'm intentionally not posting most of them because I don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone visiting for the first time. I will share a picture of the red light you need to look for at The Foundry since we initially had a little trouble figuring out where to go, along with some photos of our drinks. The rest of the journey inside is something I think you should experience for yourself. Creative cocktails, beautiful presentations, a genuinely fun atmosphere, and fantastic service from John made this an easy five-star experience for us. If you're visiting The Foundry and enjoy unique cocktails and hidden speakeasies, None of the Above is absolutely worth finding. Just learn from us and make a reservation. We got very lucky!
