Their prices are so good and their food is simply amazing. We shared the steak nachos and the chicken tostadas. Both were so flavorful and just delicious! The nachos were cheesy and packed with steak. The tostadas were crunchy and full of beans and chicken; just the way I like them. My friend got the shrimp tostadas. They weren't cheap on the shrimp. While waiting for our order my fiancé called and he was told the order was on the way. He even said "I hope the food isn't cold". She said oh no it's hot. Really like this place and will be stopping by here whenever I go to Costco. The food came out fast in about 15 mins. The prices are great and it's tasty. I was surprised by their beans because they were flavorful and that's a must with beans. I had the tongue taco which was good but a little dry the chicken taco was wonderful and simple. I love tacos with plain old onions and cilantro,they also had a green sauce which was amazing. My bf had the steak burrito it came with a few chips and a small side of salsa which was really cute. This is not a new place but i'm beating myself for not trying out earlier. This is the kind of place you want to come for a quick, attentive, and family style service. Plenty of light coming in through the front window and seating for about 10 people. Every time I try a Mexican place I look for three things: 1) Authenticity 2) Flavor 3) Value Does this place hit all three! I ordered one taco, and one torta. The steak taco has nothing to envy any of the ones served at Roosevelt taquerias. Plenty of real flavor in the meat, generous portion and the tortilla flavor hits home. The torta is the best though, because the bun is light enough that it doesn't make you feel guilty you're having a sandwich (which it isn't, it's a torta). Just a thin layer of refried beans blends perfectly with the cream and the rest of the ingredients. Again plenty of flavor in the carnitas. We ordered four tacos: Two chicken and two shrimp. Both were tasty, but I preferred the shrimp version. The shrimp themselves were boiled and tasted fresh. The taco, made of a corn tortilla, also had some crema (I think) and lettuce. A little bare bones, but for the price point ($3.50 for chicken, $4 for shrimp) it was enough, especially as limes and radishes are included in the container for a little extra oomph. WOW delicious, but the portion size was TINY compared to what I can pay for the same price at other places.
