2/15/2026 @1:30pm Absolutely disappointed with the meals today, The Menudo was so thinned out it and watered down it was completely bland, with a 1/4" oil slick across the top. $20 in the trash. The Birria tacos tasted burnt and the consume was just colored water, lackluster and another waste of money. The Enchiladas Verdes, the chicken inside was dry and stringy. Sadly the rice that was with it was also old and dry, and the refried beans (soup?) was so watered down it didn't even coat the spoon when dipped into it At least they didn't mess up the chips and guacamole, a small miracle from today's disaster. The Takeout Test continues with Orale Taqueria! This is when we ask the tough questions about our takeout experience: 1. Is it ready relatively quickly? - Yes! I placed the order at the restaurant & my food was ready in about 15 minutes. 2. Does it travel well? - Yes! I was a little wary about transporting the consommé, but the staff at Orale double bagged it. There was no leakage. 3. Does it reheat well? - Inconclusive! I didn't need to reheat anything this time. The food was still warm by the time I got home & I finished it all in one sitting. 4. Is it still visually pleasing, even squished into a container? - Yes! The birria tacos were still a sight to behold. They somehow still "plated" them beautifully in a styrofoam container. Brava! 5. Is the portion size comparable to the dine-in size? - Yes! I could spot no difference between the takeout portion & the dine-in portion. Two birria tacos with a side of consommé was the perfect portion size for me for dinner. Super good tacos!! Small taqueria a little outside the busier parts of East Cambridge. Vibrant interior and not too many indoor seats. We came on a weeknight and seating wasn't an issue Got the shrimp tacos and they were packed with flavor and super tender and juicy! Best tacos I've had in awhile. They are definitely on the pricier side, but compared to the other expensive tacos in town, these ones are better. Will definitely come back to try more things, there seems to be a good amount of variety on the menu read more

Absolutely disgusting. Came a few times and it was decent but the last time the tacos were zero meat and ALL nerves/fat. ALL 3 TACOS! Literally looked like it came from the garbage. I don't know how the cook could do this, non-intentionally.... They would not give my money back. I don't know if people got fired that night because there were also other people loudly complaining and wanting their money back. This is the ONLY place to get tamales in Rhode Island! Hands down! The masa to meat ratio is PERFECT! It seems like the meat to masa ratio is what restaurants just can't get right in RI but not here! They've got it down perfectly! I had been searching for GOOD tamales for a while in this area and was finally able to order my Christmas tamales from here for my family! On top of the quality of the food here, the customer service is incredible too! If I'm craving authentic Mexican food, I'll for sure be coming here for my fix from here on out. read more

Really good stuff. I'm so full I can't even type. Upside, amazing tacos. I had the birria taco with the consume. And honestly without the consume, the tacos alone were immaculate. They stuff it with so much meat it's worth it. It's not skimpy at all. The tacos were pricy along with the consume, but it was worth it. Every bite oozed with flavor. The homemade salsa verde sauce was good as well. The cheese for the quesadilla was expensive so it made it so well. I can't think because I'm so full. But downside, no parking - street parking. My family and I really enjoyed our dinner here. Our server was great. Very personable, accommodated our toddler (and brought out her food early!), and made two very tasty margaritas! The food was terrific and the portions generous. Very fast friendly service. The nachos would have made a whole meal they were topped with all my favorites and were so satisfying. It was our first time coming to this particular taqueria and as soon as we walked in we were greeted. We are huge on tacos and I feel like we been to about 95 percent of taco spots in Rhode Island but this one in particular felt very homey and the tacos were AMAZING! They put so much meat on the taco and they even toast the tortilla for you. I give it a 5 star because it's such a good place to eat or take out and the food was so good. I had the Birria tacos and got really scared because I couldn't taste them. I thought I had Covid! Then I tasted regular tacos they were a bit dry, but the meat had flavor. I like the salsa the most. But I went to order some tacos and I was charged $60 dollars so I asked for clarification to understand the pricing and the young girl was so rude and arrogant.
