This company is better than they are receiving credit for. We have been with Orange Coast Pest for approximately 6 years. We have not seen an ant, snail slug or any insect in years, and believe me our family has put them to the test. Folks say, "oh we can do our own" but no, I beg to differ as people say that but do they do their own?. The labor and price is cheap compared to what a home owner could buy at Home Depot. We have, had other pest control but they just did not compare. Orange Coast pest control's customer service is also great and no I nor any of my family members work for Orange Coast. First yelp review I've ever posted. I still have bugs in the house and ants around the foundation and doors. They never called to inform me in advance when they were coming to treat my property. Therefore, they wouldn't be able to get to back yard (locked gate) but still had no problem leaving invoice on porch and charging full price for half service. Then, no follow up on there behalf to ensure that my whole property was treated, but again charged my account the full service fee. Very disappointed in this service, I have gone back to the company I used prior to trying Orange Coast. This was a complete waste of $366.00 over 8 months. Don't mean this in a hateful way, but please do not trust this company like I did, they lack follow through and dependability. Terrible! My bill/inspection notice was dropped off today saying my house was treated around the perimeter using the power spray and dewebbing treatment methods, among other things. This is NOT possible because there are many giant spider webs STILL on my front porch. This isn't the first time this has happened. I haven't checked the rest of the house yet, but it is NOT possible they did what they said they did. They charged me $79, and for what?? The job clearly wasn't done. I called to cancel my service, but they are closed for the day already. Don't waste your money - if you are not home to see them visibly do the job, then they aren't going to do it, but they will still charge you. Unbelievable! I used orange coast pest control past few years. Pest control techs are amazing. They are very friendly. However, Jasmine-Office manager is very rude. I had issue with pest control and called to schedule emergency visit since I have american cockroach all over my garage. Just to give background information, this was 3rd or 4th time calling as extra service on top of my routine service. I could not park my car in the garage because sticky mat is in the way and there were 5 american cockroaches stuck on in with 2 lizards. (Even when the service tech came, he said I don't like to look at that either. It was disgusting.). Jasmine said we can't send anyone out on the day I requested. And she said I declined same day service because I could not get out of work. I was getting more and more upset by how she was talking to me. I would have been fine if she was nice on the phone but she was keep giving me attitude. So I asked if I can talk to the owner and she said exactly "Ma'am, You are not going to talk to the owner since I take care of all issues that in the office." I was like what?? I wanted to talk to owner because she was so rude on the phone. Maybe she had a bad day and didn't feel like talking to customer but that's her job. I will definitely stop using this company when my contract ends. read more

I have used this service about 3 years now. The men spraying have always been polite and helpful. However, the woman in the office, not so friendly. My only complaint is they never notify me in advance of when they are coming and I keep my gate locked because I have dogs. That has presented problems. The last man told. Me he would straighten that out. I hope so, because they have all said that. read more

I was under auto-pay with this company for a few years and never had any complaint until today. My auto-pay expired and my last interaction w/ a representative (2 wks ago), we agreed that once the payment was sent in, I would call to re-schedule the service. Fast-forward to a few minutes ago. I received a call saying my service is scheduled for tomorrow. I replied "Oh I thought I was going to call to schedule." In a nasty tone the rep says, "no we just schedule your next service depending on the rotation. If you don't want the service we can cancel the account." I explained that I came off auto pay & thought I wouldn't be auto scheduled. Really it was no big deal, I'm at work just pondering the last conversation. The representative then says like i'm her child, "if you don't want the service I can cancel the account and we won't provide service to you anymore or I can schedule you for tomorrow". I'm thinking why would I pay for this??? After she emphasized again I should close the account..I said to her "I never told you I wanted to close my account, I'm at work and was just thinking about my last conversation. That's all." She says "so are you closing your account?" and I politely said "yes you can go ahead and close it." That was a very strange interaction. Normally their folks are super nice and professional. Account is now closed. Rude people come free all day every day! read more

I have used multiple other bug companies and I was sick of them the second time they came out, too bad we were stuck on a contract. What can i say about these guys that you would not learn for your self by the end of their first service. They are thorough, professional, polite and helpful. let me tell you. i had ants and beetles and pincher bugs and all kinds of spiders running around the grass. it was to the point that you couldn't sit on the lawn with out some little creepy crawly climbing on you. I called up and spoke to the lady on the phone i think her name was jasmine or something like that. Very professional and to the point.( i don't like a lot of extra gab when i just need answers) and she was able to get me signed up and scheduled for a service in no time. after speaking to the technician i learned that a lot of my problems are common and can be easily treated. sure enough not long after they left i stopped seeing so many critters running around and in about a week or so my ant problem cleared right up. we live near a green belt so if course there are going to be extra bugs from time to time but im a happy camper i went from waging war to mild skirmishes in the blink of an eye. you cant imagine how nice it is to have the kids play in the yard with out coming in with bug bites. good job guys. read more
