You can definitely tell this is a happening place and a lot of locals come here. When I went there, it was pretty busy. Which is to be expected with the school so close by. The staff were very friendly and talking to all the customers and greeting them as they came in. I got my food promptly and my sandwich was delicious. Place is well sized and very clean. The food here is incredible, If i were you i'd get a BOBO on a Cinnamon Rasin Bagel Toaster with all pepper and ketchup! Aswell for the service it was simple and easy to order with signs with everything they have. Aswell as pay was easy, they have scanners for debit/credit cards and cash. The place feels attractive and amazing with a coffee station to make your own coffee and drink like juice and sodas. I would recommend eating here!! read more

Picked up a breakfast sandwich, bacon, egg and cheese on everything bagel. Breakfast sandwich was good, bagel was ok. In the afternoon I picked up an Italian combo, that was not good. I don't think they know how to make a good combo, it a very small amount of oil and vinegar with one slice of cheese. The sandwich was not proportioned correctly as the deli meats were stacked in uneven layers on bread. Honestly ate more bread than deli meats. So happy OCB opened in Washingtonville. I think it's exactly what the village needed. So many come and go, I hope OCB is here to stay. It was clean and spacious. Didn't feel crowded and seating outdoors as well. The Washingtonville Wizards mural was also a nice touch. Was definitely not expecting that. We had 3 Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a everything bagels and an everything bagel with cream cheese. We left happy and stomach full. Can't wait to go back! Update: we love this place. Their flagels (flat bagels) tend to run out due to popularity but they are awesome. Sandwiches here are robust and the ladies behind the counter are amazing! So I had given this place another chance since I wasn't so impressed when they first open. I kept going in to get bagels and each and every time it was inconsistent, but today I had enough. I got bagels for myself and one for my daughter and as she was eating her French toast bagel she pulled out a hair from inside the dough of the bagel! Do you guys not wear hats when preparing food or at least pull it back?! I'm also in the food business and I know that covering your hair is a must! My husband and I have driven by a few times before finally stopping in one Sunday. Hubby was super excited to have a bagel place to go to. Then we got our food. Now, I'm not a bagel snob BUT if you are going to name the place OC Bagel, your bagels better be ON POINT. Sadly, this was not the case. Their bagels are.......... Well, I would rather get one from D&D than this place. They have great offerings and great potential in a perfect space, but their bagels are not it. Each time I visit OC Bagels in Washingtonville I am reminded of why I shouldn't go. The first bad experience was when they never delivered a catering order the morning it was to be delivered. It wasn't until the owner became involved with the complaint that I was given an apology. Each time I've waited close to a half hour for a single egg sandwich. While I realize that there are many phone orders, a person ordering and eating in house shouldn't have to wait for 30 minutes for an egg sandwich. The cheese on the egg sandwich wasn't even melted, the bagels are mediocre. I was so hoping for a decent bagel place in our small town but I won't be back. read more

Someone from work brought in bagels from this place and everyone was disappointed. It looks to me like these were frozen bagels - not fresh. They were cold (not room temp - actually cold), the outside was a little damp, and they were dry and firm. I don't know how this place will succeed without fresh bagels. This place is awful. I tried to make an order ahead so I called at around 1:45. They immediately put me on hold and I stayed on hold for almost 10 minutes. After waiting on the phone for 10 minutes I accepted that they were not coming back to take my order. I hung up and went to call again, the robotic voice told me the voicemail box was full and to call back later. This means that the phone was still off the receiver from my call and now the entire phone was useless. Now that I can't call ahead because they still haven't noticed that the phone is off the hook, I decided to drive there and order. I went inside and after being ignored for a bit as they chatted with a guy, they finally called me over to order. I told them about the issue saying that I was left on hold for about 10 minutes and that they haven't put the phone back meaning I, as well as any other customers, cannot call to place an order. The cashier replied "Oh." and left me standing there to look for the phone with her other co worker. It took them too long to find the phone that I could clearly see on the counter laying face down. When they found it they again said "Oh." and put it back on the receiver. She came back to the register and said "What do you want?", although it was rude I ignored it and told her my order, which was some breakfast sandwiches. She told me completely monotone how the grill is now closed and how they close it down at 2. I am beyond annoyed. They never apologized and seemed annoyed and super unfriendly. They're open until 3, but no where do they mention they close the grill at 2. If they spoke to me on the phone my order would've made it on time or they could've at least told me that it was closing. It would've saved me the entire trip. I ended up buying a few bagels, they were okay but not much better than dunkin' which is ten feet away and cheaper. If you want a good bagel place go to C&G, you would be supporting a local small business with friendly staff that care about customers. read more
