an empty parking lot in a residential area
    Daniel A.

Local pizzeria. Hit or miss, but today is a hit! Good crunch, good sauce, a little busy during lunch, small inside, always awkward parking. Team inside is on point, nice, friendly, quick and accommodating. A little pricey but pizza is getting out of hand in general. Today I'm a fan.

There's not much in this direct area so it was definitely nice to find a pizzeria with good food and lots of offerings. This spot seems like it's a regular for anyone working in the area as it was definitely busy during lunch time! I actually ended up ordering a salad but the pizza in the display case looked amazing. I ordered the "Choppity Chop Cobb Salad." It wasn't just a clever name. The salad was huge and really, really delicious. The chicken wasn't dried out and tasted really fresh. I almost ate the whole thing. I thoroughly enjoyed that salad. On pickup, the staff was friendly and my salad was ready really quickly. I would definitely return to try something new. This is a great place to stop in for a tasty meal for lunch.

Bang bang chicken wrap on honey wheat
    Darren G.

Came here after picking up a door dash order and wanted to try it myself. I ordered over phone ahead of time a bang band chicken wrap on a honey wheat wrap. Drove out to get it and my order was pretty much ready as I got in after a few minutes. The girl behind counter is very friendly and checks orders thoroughly for accuracy. She offered if I wanted to get a slice while they finish up my order, I declined but it was very polite to ask. Now for the wrap, chicken was lightly breaded and crispy, also surprisingly it was not oily like most fried chicken Is. There was a lot chicken in the wrap, it was well loaded. Bang bang sauce was tangy, spicy and sweet, wanted inside the wrap. Lettuce was nice and shredded , glad it was not a whole piece, that slides around. Overall I got great value for my $12.42, possible my most favorite chicken wrap variety I ever tried.

Omg called ahead to grab some wings to take out. Took a piece to cook but omg were they good. Soft and not hard and old deep fry stuff. Had the Teriyaki ( a bit saltier than we used to but it grew on ya) & the Hobo ( honey bourbon ). Yum now that one was sweet n heat. So I think we had a great combo. The girls inside were great as we chatted them up while waiting. Of course we were hungry so looking at the pizza ... Had to have a slice of sausage pizza, Yummy while I waited. Then she gave us samples of the chili. And boy since it turned cold two days ago that tastes good n hearty too! Ok we will take a bowl of that to go as well. Ended up we got some famous rice pudding as a finish.. Soooo we will be full. Ok we quit now!!! Lol. We swing into this area a few times a year ( Trk drivers) so now we have a great little place to go close to the Pilot. They serve breakfast and so deliver also. Yeah!! Later gaters Well we have been back several times lately always good and consistent. Had to try the spag with sausage dinner. Omg took half with for later. Comes with salad and bread! Hobo wings again too plus boy had chick bacon ranch slice. Ok full again. Oh.. did buy2 rice puddings this time. Don't like sharing.. ha!

Chicken fingers "tossed in hot sauce"

A 1 star review feels too kind. I'd love to say the soggy, unseasoned French fries made up for the soggy, unseasoned chicken fingers, but they did not. The best part is that getting the chicken fingers "tossed" was an up charge.

The Vault was the perfect choice; an historical bank building (hence its name) turned into a restaurant and bar. It was virtually empty when we strolled in around 4pm on a Tuesday. We love to sit at the bar, so we cozied up and ordered a couple drinks, oysters, and shishito peppers. The oysters tasted nice and fresh and the shishito peppers were really good, but honestly a little too spicy somehow. They usually aren't that hot (what do they say, 1 in 7 is spicy?) -- but these guys were hot! Our bartender was really kind and answered our questions about Beacon. She gave us recommendations for other spots to visit as well, and let us know that a lot of places are closed on Monday and Tuesdays. I'm actually sad we didn't have a bigger meal at The Vault because I really enjoyed what we did have. Next time!

Parking is limited, but once you arrive, the property is absolutely adorable with its farm setting and beautiful flowers. The service was friendly, attentive, and one of the highlights of our visit. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, locally grown ingredients, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, almost every dish we ordered was incredibly salty. I love well seasoned food, but this was just too much. They definitely need to ease up on the salt because it overpowered the fresh ingredients. I would recommend to the chef - calm down on the salt please!!! The standout dish for our group was the hot honey pizza--it was absolutely delicious and the one item I'd happily order again. One small downside that caught me off guard was the bathroom. It was so dark that it was difficult to see anything. Overall, it's a beautiful spot with great service and a charming atmosphere!

We arrived as soon as they opened and were some of the first there. The bar tender greeted us and we took our seats. He came over immediately and went through the entire menu with us. This is one of those spots you hope no one sleeps on because it's too good to stay a secret. I stopped in during my break since I didn't pack lunch and figured a deli sub would do the trick. A quick Yelp search showed an almost perfect rating, which seemed wild at first, but after eating here I get it. I walked in and saw the owner in a chef's coat, his staff in theirs, cooking and taking orders right in front of you. The setup felt like an open-air kitchen that still fully embraced being a deli. They even have an "ocky way" sandwich section, plus regular hot and cold sandwiches on a sub or a roll. Drinks and chips you don't see everywhere. The variety and quality genuinely impressed me. The owner was super friendly, and I ordered a honey turkey chopped cheese-style sandwich cold. Mayo, lettuce, turkey, American cheese, salt, pepper, vinegar, all chopped together and stuffed into a hero. It came out to twelve bucks. The menu has range. There's a salad bar, beef patties, and the place smelled incredible. I was already planning my next order before I even left. I took my sandwich back to work, sat down on break, and the first bite was an explosion of flavor. The sweetness of the honey turkey, the creamy mayo, the hit of vinegar, everything came together perfectly. I ate half and saved the other half for Jo because it was that good. This is officially my new lunch spot when I'm working in the area. Five out of five stars.
