Have bought flowers here twice to be delivered to UCI Medical Center. The flowers them self were beautiful both times. I give only four stars because the first delivery went smoothly with great customer service while the second time was kind of a strange delivery in which the driver kind of just dumped off the flowers abruptly. I had a horrible experience with an online florist (www.FromYouFlowers.com). Long story short, I paid almost $100 dollars for a premium floral delivery - flowers delivered were not premium, in fact they weren't even standard. When I advised www.FromYouFlowers.com, they offered a refund. I accepted the refund. Without advising me of this part of the refund process.... www.FromYouFlowers.com then had the florist go to my mother's work (on her birthday) to repo the flowers. I'm sure this was extremely embarrassing for her, I know it was for me. ANYWAYS, that same afternoon I called a local florist, Orange County Florist, and let them know what happened and asked for some help. Not only did Orange County Florist deliver the same day despite my late call but they delivered my mother an exceptional bouquet... the bouquet consisted of stargazer lilies and long stem roses, it lasted two weeks and my mom was absolutely in love with it. I've gone to this flower shop for the last year. There's an older woman whose helped me before and she's wonderful. Today's experience was less than enjoyable and not only will I not be going back but I'm writing because I don't thing ANY one should have to experience what I went through. The arrangement itself for the first time was less than impressive. The woman who helped out it together wasn't the employee who've I've had before who put so much thoughtfulness and intentionality behind her arrangements. THIS was done haphazardly and the aesthetic was anemic. The only thing more outrageous than that was because of "Valentine's" day the price gouge. Michael was terse abrupt as he began to explain why the price was higher. I made mention that I was less than thrilled with the obscene price hike especially since I've frequented the shop so much throughout the year. This is where the interaction gets ridiculous... Once I mentioned I was unhappy he attempted to not sell me the arrangement to avoid a bad review I'm guessing? Which the logic there, super airtight...I insisted on being charged and he went on to waste inordinate amounts of time trying to explain the price hike even though I said I had places to be. I finally had to levy the better business bureau to get him to charge me. I had my receipt and took my flowers and walked to my car. He told me there was something wrong with me for not being understanding of the price hike. I got to my car put the flowers in the back seat and went on to shut my door, he ran outside stopped the door from closing and took the flowers back. Keep in mind, I paid for them, they were mine. He said he needed a signature, this doesn't excuse the reprehensible and borderline assault he committed against me by touching my property, the car door, and taking the flowers which I paid for. Absolutely terrible customer service. The only redeemable aspect of this shop is the sweet older female clerk. Michael the manager or the younger staff were abhorrent. read more

My daughter in college in Seattle spend a lot of money to send me tulips for Mother's Day 2021 to my home in South OC. OC Florist on West Chapman in Orange delivered the bouquet but the tulips were old, fully opened and very sad. I tried to call they hung up. I texted. I ordered flowers for my employer to give to his girlfriend at her university graduation ceremony. I spoke to Michael who was very helpful, and the price he quoted me was half the amount of nearby florists. After payment, Michael took a photo of my receipt and texted it to me so I could then get reimbursed from my employer. Through a series of situations, my employer was not able to pick up the flowers after all, and neglected to tell me. Michael waited in his shop for an hour after closing because my employer had a very tight schedule that evening. A few days later, Michael texted me to ask if we were still interested in the roses, they were fine and in the refrigerated case. I called and immediately apologized, I was appalled that I hadn't been able to call him that evening. I also asked if there was a way to get a partial discount since the flowers were never picked up. He gave me a %50 percent credit and was more polite then I deserved. I was so impressed with his demeanor and professionalism. I will gladly use him when in the area - and will remind my boss (politely) to get there early. Thank you Michael! read more

Bad customer/delivery service!!! I ordered my gf flowers to her work as a surprise for her birthday. (She works inside the mall) I left a note saying what store along with the exact address and suite number. When they were delivered the driver not only called and ruined the surprise by saying "I have flowers to deliver to you" and asked what was the best place to park (use common sense) then the driver asked if my girlfriend was able to meet her in the parking lot to get her own flowers. What a complete joke! My gf found her wondering the mall and got the flowers from the driver so still never even made it to the store. I called the florist and they told me they had never received the order. Yet, I have the email for confirmation. They kept looking for the order and nothing, until they updated their system and WOW! There it is. They were sorry for the inconvenience and they could send the flowers on Monday. What's the point. On was trying to surprise my girlfriend and we won't be here Monday. Worst florist place. Can't even update their system to repopulate new orders. Found another florist that would send it to our place by 6 thank God. I wanted to purchase some fresh flowers for a friend and stopped by this florist shop around 10:00 am on a Friday morning. Strangely, a lady that worked there did not acknowledge when I walked in and went to the back of the store. I called out for help but no one came to the front. I looked around at the small variety of flowers they had and wanted to inquire if they had more but again, no one answered when I called out. Very weird. The selection of flowers in the fridge and plants on display were so small. It was a very large space for this shop and looked like they were going out of business. I ended up going to Vons on Chapman (which I highly recommend). For $5 I got a bouquet of gerber daisies with an arrangement of wild flowers.
