DO NOT BUY HERE! This place had great in house service. But they don't back up their warranty. We purchased a Cal King mattress from them less than a year ago when we started to notice a severe dip in the mattress. Making sure it wasn't just the set up we had several family members lay in the bed and we turned it changed box springs and moved it around. Finally we called and they sent an "independent" company come and look at it. It was faulty but not enough for them to do anything about it. The gentleman was rude and said "not our problem" We are stuck with a VERY expensive mattress that we can't use. It is very upsetting we were told when we purchased it that they 100% guarenteed their mattress. THAT'S A FLAT OUT LIE! read more

But to be acknowledged and maybe say "I'll be with you as soon as I can," would have been better than just being ignored. I walked around the showroom twice looking at the mattresses. We picked a particularly firm mattress but only chose this Model because we were told by the sales associate, Paul, that we could exchange it for a different firmness if we weren't happy with this one. After living in mattress hell for almost 2 weeks.....Orange County Mattress came to our rescue! We purchased some new bedroom furniture from Ashley Furniture....a Cal King Platform Storage Sleigh bed. We decided to make it easier on ourselves to just get the mattress there and have it all delivered at the same time. Everything was fine until I went to make my new bed and see there is a 6" gap between the mattress and the foot of the bed....so much so that I could reach inside the storage draws and pull out anything I wanted. Turns out the mattress was about 4" shorter than the standard 84" Cal King. My husband is 6'8"..this was not going to fly. To make a long story short....2 "short" mattresses later and rude customer service we demanded a full refund and came to OC Mattress. What a difference!!!! Gavin, our sales person, was AH-MAZING! He was friendly, informative and not pushy whatsoever! He helped us find the perfect mattress. They were having a 50% off sale...BONUS! We were in and out of the store in less than 30 minutes. Free same day shipping was another bonus! I pulled out of the driveway at 2:30pm and my mattress was in my bed by 3:30pm. The delivery guys were awesome! They brought down my "old/new" mattress, wrapped it in plastic and set it in our garage for Ashely's to pick up. Now THAT is service!! This place is a joke. Let's start of with don't ever walk into a business that has lions by the entrance, lol. We were looking for a mattress and came by here. Well, first of all they are understaffed, even they admitted to that. But don't go here unless you are willing to spend thousands on a mattress. Prices range somewhere between $1500-$4500 of what I've seen.. I ended up buying a similar kind of mattress at The Mattress Place across the street for half the cost of what I would've spend here. Aaron helped me to pick out a great mattress. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and made the transaction quick and easy. I had the mattress delivered within 48 hours (I could have had it in 24 hours but was not home). When the bed arrived, we had a hiccup in that we couldn't fit the box spring in the stairway up to the room. I called Aaron and he was able to get me a thinner sized box frame so that it would easily go up our narrow stairway, this was all done in the same day. Quick and excellent customer service. We were very pleased with everything start to finish. To be honest, we were on our way to Sit n Sleep but came across OC Mattress first so we stopped in. Marine Vet Ed (thank you for your service!) was really informative but not the least bit pushy. As with all mattress stores I've been to, they offer the trial period, and he was very clear that any return would have a 20% restock fee - just as all the other stores do. Understandable. I just hope we have no issues. We bought the bed at 1pm, it was here by 3pm. Delivery guys were professional and friendly. Went in to purchase new bed. I called in and talked to paul over phone. Walked in and met paul. Told him my situation. (Back problems aka scoliosis). Met him and he made us lay on about 5 beds to narrow down our preference. Finally narrowed it down to 2 beds. Great customer service. No pressure. While shopping for a new mattress, after having our water bed for 20 years, we stopped in at OC Mattress store on Katella in Orange. This was our first stop and as it turns out our ONLY stop. Paul, the sales person, was very knowledgeable about all the different types of mattresses & encouraged us to try several different ones while explaining each ones' features. He spent time with us, didn't rush us and encouraged us to take our time. We selected a mattress and today it was delivered by two well mannered young men. They immediately put on the booties we had by the door, set the bed up and took away the old water bed we had since 1995. I bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress from OC Mattress. Paul did a great job selling me the mattress and the warrant that comes with the mattress. Three weeks later, the mattress had extreme dipping on one side of the bed. I called OC Mattrees warranty and they give me the brush off. The lady was too busy eating on the phone while talking to me. I called the store and they told me call Tempur-Pedic and deal with them directly because it was easier. I called Tempur-Pedic and after an hour on the phone, they wanted pictures, receipts, and recorded statements. I still don't know if they are going to cover the mattress or if Im stuck with a defective item. I would not recommend OC Mattress because they don't stand behind the products they sell. UPDATE: I called OC Mattress and spoke with Gavin regarding the warranty issues. He quickly replied that since I wrote a poor review on Yelp, he did not want to speak with me regarding my problems. He told to call the warranty department from now on and hung up on me. This is not customer service. I bought the mattress on August 26, 2014 for $6100 and three weeks later the mattress is dipping. I understand OC Mattress did not make the mattress but they should have a better attitudes and not be rude to their customers when a problem arrises. Update: OC Mattress replaced the defective mattress the following Monday. Now that's customer service. The delivery guys were awesome and quickly noticed the dipping. Thanks, Yelp. read more

The initial experience was great, Staff knowable and friendly. The set up deliver guys, Donald and Jr. was great. Quick, courteous and knowable. They left the box for attaching the head board, because my head board arrived 2 days later. When letting Scott know my head board had arrived, I was told there would be a $ 75.00 charge to put it on. I expressed dissapointment after paying over $2400 for the bed, and then being charged that amount. He then told me someone would stop by when in the area in a couple of days. A week went by, and being sick of looking at the head board, called the back and agreed to pay the $ 75.00. They came next day, in the morning, and put it on, by Donald and Jr. who did a great job. So the sales service was great, but the after sale service was far from great, and not very accommodating. read more

I purchased a mattress here about a week ago. I was helped by Jose and he was very helpful and informative! I went to several mattress stores and he was the only one who was not being pushy with me and actually let me take time in choosing the right mattress for me. I found the mattress I loved (not too firm nor too soft) and couldn't wait to receive it. Unfortunately though, the mattress I received isn't the same as the one that was on display. I don't know if I received a defective bed or was given the wrong one. The mattress feels more plush so I'm sagging in and one side of the bed is more slanted than the other. Overall, the mattress is just sagging in too much. I'm waking up with back pain every night and constantly tossing and turning. I'm a side sleeper but also have back pain problems which is why I needed a mattress that's medium firm. I hate having to leave only 3 stars because my experience in store was awesome but have a strong feeling I was given the wrong mattress (or it's just defective). I'll be stopping by the store over the weekend and hopefully I'll be able to get this resolved. read more

The store has lots of mattresses to choose from and Eric was very helpful. I purchased a mattress marked "medium" , but the one we got was much firmer than the one I tried in the store. I slept on it for a week, then called the store to ask for an exchange. There was no problem, they brought a softer mattress to my house the same day. shopping here was ideal. and i was lucky enough to have paul on the floor show room that day. great selection of tempurpedic mattresses that i was interested in testing. allowed me to take as much time as i wanted, didn't try to up sell and no pressure at all. went from there to 'the other guys' just to compare as it was an expensive purchase and they tried to up sell, try to put pressure on to buy then and prices was higher. would match any price but why give business to a place like that while the first guy, paul at oc mattress was the perfect honest low keyed but extremely informative salesman. got my bed delivered at the time promised and love my new bed. wouldn't go anywhere else and would recommend only oc mattress (and paul ) to my friends and family. read more

I was dreading mattress shopping, but OC Mattress made the process really easy! Paul was our salesman and he really helped narrow down the choices. He was friendly, professional, informative and never pushy. All the beds were 50% off and some had an additional $300 off. We were stuck between 2 beds and Paul said he could call the owner and ask for another $100 off the more expensive one if that would help with the decision. After a few days of discussion, we went back and ended up going with the more expensive one (extra firm Aireloom with a pillowtop) and got the extra $100! Gavin was on duty that day and he was awesome to work with too! There was no delivery charge and they were able to deliver the mattress set the very next day! They even brought both sizes of box springs since we weren't sure which one we wanted. The delivery guys were really quick and professional and arrived in the first half of the 4 hour window. They will haul away your old mattress set, set up the new frame and new bed for you. One other note, if you happen to unhappy with the bed you selected, they do let you exchange your bed for a restocking fee within 30 days. They said the fee is 20% but could lower it to 10%. read more
