They did not try to understand the nature of injury and assigned generic exercises for me that worsened my condition. I was in pain after each session and did not improve. I went to see a foot orthopedic surgeon and he referred me to Core Performance. From the first visit, Yorick Yuan spent the first session assessing my condition and analyzing the nature of my injury. In future sessions, each exercise was tailored to improve my healing. After 2 weeks, I notice a significant improvement. After 6 weeks, I feel so much better and close to being completed healed. I'm continuing PT to work on my gait, walking up and down stairs and overall strength in my legs. I feel each exercise helped me and I have made tremendous progress. The PT assistants I mostly work with are Cole and Rose and they are very patient and competent. I have had such a wonderful experience with everyone I've worked with at Core Performance including the front desk. However, I have noticed a consistent issue across several therapists. After the first five minutes of evaluating the patient, many therapists begin engaging in casual conversations with other therapists or clients, and this continues throughout the session. This takes away from the quality of care, as they are no longer fully focused on the patient. Every patient, whether paying through insurance or co pay, deserves the therapist's FULL attention for the ENTIRE session, not just the first few minutes or the last portion. While working in a shared space is understandable, it is not appropriate for therapists to engage in unrelated conversations once a session has started. Management should address this and ensure therapists remain fully attentive to their own patients at all times. Updating my rating to 5 stars again due to the management's immediate attention to the matter. Thank you.

This practice has been super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The space is clean and spacious and usually not over crowded. I started PT beginning of June and after 3-4 weeks, I started to experience positive effects with my recovery. Josephine and the rest of the staff are super great. I personally went to a doctor for my issue several years ago and was dismissed. I saw Josephine, and she immediately validated my concern and actually identified the issue. Great front office staff. Parking is ample and access is easy. They treat you and they teach you how to treat yourself in the long run so you can have a great health span in life. Their app is very user friendly. John Kwon runs a clean, professional PT operation. One of his strengths (or he is just lucky) is hiring staff that just seem to fit in to the family feel of Core PT. Each PT adds something different in their approach. Patients can stay with the same PT or go at it like a smorgasbord and try different PTs through the course of their treatment. I've been a patient in the past and had great service from the PT assistant/students…read more Unfortunately, my last experience is the complete opposite. I am a patient and have re-established care and am undergoing treatment with Koh, I arrived at my scheduled appointment and that's when they informed me that they will no longer be seeing me due to staffing shortages. That is completely unacceptable. When a medical provider accepts a patient, establishes care and begins treatment with them they should not drop the patient based on their insurance. The most uncomfortable part of the experience was that there was no compassion by the front office, lady, especially after pleading with her that I am in pain even to drive to this location, her repeated responses were other providers offices that were significantly further, she wasn't even listening to my needs and pain levels as a patient. It's very sad that compassion in healthcare just doesn't exist anymore, we're all just a number with whose insurance pays the highest gets the service.
