I'm a pretty big fan of frozen yogurt and in my hometown of New Braunfels Texas there are two options when it comes to satisfying this need. We have Orange Leaf which is the review your reading now and then we also have another establishment called Peachwave. they're both amazing in their own rights and their offerings are pretty amazing. I have yet to pick my favorite of the two that's why I'm kind of combining this review I go back and forth between the two more often than people change their socks. they are so similar in some ways and so different in others it's amazing but they are both great. before I go into more detail I am going to say that if you are in the mood for ice cream / frozen yogurt definitely try one of the two they're both truly amazing. Strictly talking about Orange Leaf at this point :-) I love orange Leaf's system of multiple size containers and I absolutely love they're spoons, I know you're thinking to yourself that must be a typo the spoons is he really talking about spoons here... the answer is yes I love their spoons. I also believe but could be wrong they have what I feel to be more fresh fruit toppings than their counterparts which is great for kids and Health nuts but when I go to eat ice cream / frozen yogurt I'm thinking the more carbs the better :-) Why 4 stars and not 5: On our second to last visit one of my kids spilled there yogurt and even though the 1 employee behind the counter was doing absolutely nothing didn't bother to assist us in cleaning up the mess or even ask us if we needed assistance, hell she didn't even offer us napkins to clean up the mess. and that Cost them a whole star. While that is not the business owners fault properly trained staff and not hiring motivated stuff is. ----------------------------------------------------- *Poor *Decent *Good *great *Best *JLFoodie Certified Food. Great Service. good Cleanliness. good Value. great I realize I'm a food snob, I eat out regularly some weeks 3 to 4 times which in my opinion makes me a bit of an expert on food, service, quality etc. I say it how I see it and I usually will give restaurants at least three chances before I give up on them and in some cases after some time has past I revisit the restaurants to see if anything is changed and my reviews reflect that change.

    Many flavors!

Love this place! It's always super clean and the chick that is normally there goes along with my husband's cheesy jokes. They are also open until 10pm which is awesome for the area. Regarding the thing about not having sample cups out for people to just take, I think that it may be a health code violation and to get around it they have an employee administer your sample. I know that the New Braunfels health department is very strict and on top of things. Regarding the parking, they have a back door that remains open during business hours so just park in the lot and open the door. Otherwise you can go around to the front door and enjoy the calming water features. I love their flavors. Sometimes the swirled combos are a little weird but you can always get them separate. The only topping I wish they had was peanut butter sauce. Their toppings are always fresh and the staff make sure to keep the topping area very clean.

As a Fro-yo addict (check my list) I'm going to do this shop a service and provide some tips on how they can remain in business past the next 12-18 months. As it currently stands I don't see them making it longer than that, and i think there is enough potential to make a go of it. Here's what I would consider changing: - Overly sweet. This yogurt is over the top too sweet, I felt sick after eating it. Usually I feel better after eating fro-yo. Additionally, there are no nutritional details on the yogurt which is suspect - I hope there isn't HFCS being used as a sweetener, but I fear there might be. - Flavors are way, way off. Pistachio tasted like white chocolate (and it was white), the oreo tasted like a very sweet and carmely dulce de leche, the red velvet was just like eating sugar cane. I honestly thought someone had moved all the flavor signs from April 1 as a joke. The peanut butter and chocolate were ok, but all the other flavors were not close to what they were labeled. - Pricing - .45 an ounce, really? Most places are .39 in Austin and are putting out better product. - Samples - just give me a tiny cup or two, no need to have the worker fill them for me. - The logo is not easy to read from I-35 - I can't make out the Orange Leaf logo. You are the only fro-yo stand between Austin and San Antonio that I have seen - make it clear to recognize at 75 mph. - Location - The location of this shop makes no sense. When you find the shop and park near it, you park in the back of the shop and enter from the rear while the front faces an empty field. It's not super close to the theater or big box stores either. If this were my store it would be between the Target and Best Buy as they have the most traffic and presence. The location is irritating when there are better spots still vacant. I think this place has potential and I don't mean to sound harsh. You could do all but the move with some small tweaking but right now the flavors and the sweetener is so off that I wouldn't return unless those were adjusted.

Just your typical froyo bar. The staff has always been friendly and the flavors are tasty. Pineapple is my personal favorite. My kids love the topping selection as well. Definitely a good idea on a hot summer day!

I loved the yogurt here. I did think it was a little pricey and I would have prefered the option of choosing a smaller cup to put it in. They only have one size cup which I guess works to their benefit in hoping you over-indulge. I craved the little juice balls they had as a topping for days after eating this yogurt. It was great. The parking is awkward as one reviewer said, but truthfully, that whole shopping center is awkward. I am sure the Orange Leaf people thought they would pull business from the sandwich shop (which will be another review) and the movie theater by picking this location. All in all - I enjoyed the experience and will go back again.

Because of that, I've recently found myself searching for family-friendly restaurants with large outdoor areas. That way, if my little one gets fussy, I can walk around with him, and we're not stuck inside worrying about disturbing other diners. Freiheit Country Store was perfect for our needs. The outdoor area is large and spacious, and the overall atmosphere is very family-friendly. It has a relaxed vibe that feels just right for families with young children. One small observation: I do wish some parents paid a little more attention to their kids. It had recently rained, and a boy was throwing rocks into a puddle, causing water and mud to splash onto my husband's back. We politely asked him to stop, but he continued, and we couldn't spot a parent nearby. As for the food, it was served quickly, arrived hot, and tasted great. No complaints there. My husband also appreciated the simple and efficient ordering process. Overall, this is a great spot to grab a bite to eat, enjoy a cold beer, and relax in a family-friendly environment. We'll definitely be back

I'm so HANGRY right now!!!!!!!…read more "DISAPPOINTED" and "DISGUSTED" are two verbs that are too lenient to describe my current experience with BJ's. Probably a series of words that aren't often put together. I've dined at several BI's and unfortunately, I've had great experiences in the past which had seeded the presumption that all BJ's would be managed similarly, regardless of location. Well, New Braunfels BJ's, all I gotta say is "BOOOO, on you! Yuck, gross and NO thank you!" Full disclosure, I did order from Über Eats but, they are not to blame. I am kicking myself for delving from my usual path for an awesome burger. Oddly, IHOP has the BEST burgers and without fall, PERFECTION!! EVERY BURGER, EVERY FLIPPING TIME!! So, anyone reading this knows that red meat prices have skyrocketed due to the screwworm or Bill Gates or whatever. It's really expensive to eat red meat! Until I get Alpha Gal from one of the too many deer here carrying the Lone Star Tic, I'm going to continue to get my dose of iron from that bloody, yum, yum, mouthwatering, juicy beef! That being said, it's not often I treat myself to a steak or a burger. When I do, I expect it to come exactly as I've ordered it. Oh, for shame that I expect something to be as described or procured as common sense would entail. So, when my cheeseburger arrived looking like a water logged atoll surrounded in a grotesque sea of sauces, I was left on my own island, in a sea of confusion drowning in copious condiments. Perhaps it just really solidifies the fact that we are truly living currently in Mike Judge's movie "Idiocracy". I'll explain. I ordered a cheeseburger cooked rare with ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and the BJ's special sauce. I don't know who is reading this and which one of you has worked in the restaurant industry, but if you have, you can probably tell where this is going. I've worked in that industry for over 20 years but, you wouldn't have to work one day in a restaurant to realize cause-and-effect or simple physics. When you package something that is hot in a closed container, it's going to sweat. This is why most crispy items can't show up at your house as crispy like they are in the physical restaurant. Even if it's not hot, a salad tossed in dressing will wilt and get soggy quickly. That is why the dressing is served on the side for delivery orders and often for dining in the physical establishment. Makes sense, right? Sooo, I ordered every sauce they had. Why? Because I'm an A-hole. No, I have no idea how the dish has been seasoned so, I like the option of sprucing it up, if needed. Besides, the sauces are free so, why not? Well, instead of putting them on the side, which they do, if you're dining in, they liquidated (literally and metaphorically) every single sauce, like a dumpster party on top of my burger! How do you think it arrived? Gross snd slimy. I feel bad for the poor burger. Its short life it had, was drowning in a quicksand of accoutrements that were never created to commingle simultaneously. This freakish bastardized burger was something that was totally inedible. Oddly enough, though whoever packaged the salad, they got it perfect! Salad dressing on the side lettuce was crisp, crunchy bacon, perfect amount of blue cheese crumbles, and red onion. Unfortunately, Uber Eats will not refund me my money for this burger and apparently it's because of BJ's policies. Perhaps that's why they didn't want to take the extra time to package up each individual sauce which, hint, hint , Mr/Mrs/Ms Manager!! You should have those prepackaged ahead of time so no one has to do it while they're slammed in the kitchen! It's called "prep". So, I hope my tale will save some tastebuds. Order the pazookie instead! Soooo, management is asking me below to jump through more hoops to do...what?
