The ordering is easy with options to customize or let the chef choose sides, the menu is really broad and appealing to our guests, the prices are very reasonable, and the Russo's team is very communicative. There is a large selection of mains, sides, and desserts. It's easy to make changes to the order after it's placed. Delivery arrives on time including on weekends. You can pay via invoice and they support tax-exempt orders while makes admin background work much easier. All of this is great from an event organizer perspective. My favorite part is how the boxes are designed and packed. They look attractive and fancy as far as a boxed lunch goes, but are small and compact in case people need to take their lunch to go. Also, the food is ACTUALLY PRETTY GOOD! Even when it's been sitting for an hour or more due to event logistics. It's just nice to be able to offer meeting attendees a nice meal option that still meets all the fiscal and admin requirements of a bureaucracy-heavy job. Highly recommend!

Above and beyond even. I have been disappointed by others, but not them. The food is delicious fresh and health focused. You feel good about eating it. Their gourmet sandwiches and fresh kettle chips have a great selection and include fresh fruit on the tray. They always include flatware, serving utensils and condiments to spare. The Italian salad is amazing. We tried the fusilli seafood pasta for the first time, and my compliments to the chef! This will be our company's go to for catering from now on!

I was finally able to go here yesterday and I loved it. It feels like a true American burger joint…read more When you enter, you order at the counter and the food is then brought to your table. Service was great at both the counter and the table. I had the Split & Melt which was delicious. Crispy smash patties, gooey cheese, buttery bread. I also opted to add heirloom tomato to it which added a nice brightness to it. My mom ordered the double, which she said was amazing. We ordered a variety of sides to share. The mac and cheese was amazing, the onion rings were flavorful and crispy, and the fries were also very well seasoned and crispy. Overall, everything was a 10/10. Also, I loved that their fountain sodas are Excel sodas. Will definitely be back to try their draft beers and more burgers!

Food: The burger? Excellent. One of my favorite smash burgers in the city. The fries? Just ok…read more Maybe it was an off day, but they didn't taste much different to me than a regular fry. Price: All together, with a dollar tip, I paid $27 and change, which to me is incredibly pricey for counter service. $2 for a dipping sauce is steep, and for a small container. Next time? I'd skip the dipping sauce and homemade lemonade to save $7. I'll be back but not running to pay this much again. The storefront: the direct out front, small parking lot was packed and people were going into the gated lot to find parking. Only one person working the counter when you first walk in which lead to a long line at the dinner rush that seemed to be moving pretty slow. We got in before the rush and got our food quickly after. Staff were kind and very helpful! Fairly clean with the food runners circling tables often to remove trash.

Looking for Blondie's in St. Clair, we found this restaurant revamped with the name Scarlett's. As…read morethe story goes, a longtime bartender purchased from Blondie and kept most things the same but have hired a brother/sister duo that try to outdo each other in the kitchen with ideas such as a Mac and Cheese stuffed burger. We went in for burgers to go. We ordered a Big Texas burger with Fries($16) which is a half Lb. and an Build a burger (7oz.) with onion rings($10). While we were waiting, everyone was super attentive, and informative. For instance, I would've ordered a Bloody Mary while we waiting but their only mix was (ugh!) Zing Zang and when I mentioned this to the bartender, she said that she didn't like it either but that they were going to start brunch in a couple of weeks and they would offer a Bloody Mary bar with V-8 along with the other mix. Also on Wednesdays, they have $1 Wings. I thought the hamburgers were good, high quality meat but would've been better if they grilled the buns, especially if they buttered and grilled them. Would've taken it to a new level. The buns were kinda steamed by the time we got them home. I did like the way they packaged the veggies, folded away from the food. I did not care for the onion rings; beer battered and very greasy. I would prefer the Panko style breading but that is just a preference. We will go back. Service was great, food was real and menu has a lot of options, especially if they start brunch with a make your own Bloody Mary. The next time I'm in the mood for a burger or brunch, I'll definitely go back.

The food was great and the service was even better. Couldn't ask for a better lunch with friends.read more

I'm not sure what this place even is, despite having dined there yesterday. It serves breakfast,…read morelunch and dinner, and doesn't seem to specialize in anything in particular. It's in a weirdly large building that looks like a place where you'd go to get lasik surgery. I visited after a run on a day where the heat index was like 109, so I didn't spend that much time inside, just enough to drip sweat all over the front counter and the floor in the vestibule. We sat outside in an area that seems like the place where you'd pull up and unload your luggage at a hotel. A member of our group says she once attended some sort of Xmas pop-up in the basement here where you were charged a cover and then expected to pay for drinks and pizza, so... uh, caveat emptor. We ordered at the little bar up front, but I'm not sure if that's also the case if you dine inside. These places always flip out when there's umpteen different people ordering separately, because they only have but so many of those numbers you set on the table so they know where to bring your food. It ended up not being an issue with us, because who else was going to engage in al fresco dining during a heat advisory? This place serves pizza, but it didn't look that good in the few photos I saw. Granted, food often looks like crap in Yelp photos. Also, there's an emphasis on '90s-style health food, organic ingredients and what have you. There's a Salmon BLT that's featured prominently that seemed like it might be the thing to get, but I didn't know enough about this place to be ordering fish, and I'd already been meaning to eat a bacon cheeseburger for the past several days. Maybe next time. There is no bacon cheeseburger as a separate menu item unto itself. I figured I might just order a cheeseburger and add bacon, but I'm not sure if that's an option, and this wasn't a regular cheeseburger. It had a few different weird cheeses on it, spinach and maybe some other things. Then I saw the Dill-bert, which seemed like it might be really good. It has, among other things, dill Havarti cheese (whatever that is), avocado, and of course, bacon. It's served on a wheat bun, which, whatever. Its name is not a tribute to Scott Adams, as far as I know, but this is Ballwin. The Dill-bert did not disappoint. No Diddy. The beef comes from one of those special farms where the cows are all given names as if they were human beings, groomed on a daily basis by trafficking victims and read bedtime stories, and you really can taste the difference. It's a better quality meat. It's also expertly prepared. It's well-seasoned and cooked until it develops a nice char on the exterior. It was a bit more done on the inside than I require, but that may have been unavoidable. For a side, there was an option of tater tots cooked in an air fryer, like if your mom was feeling lazy. I didn't see any french fries, but maybe I'm going blind. I ordered a side salad, which is my thing these days. Sometimes they're surprisingly good, and a french fry is a french fry, unless you're at McDonald's. This one was pretty good, but it was definitely on the health-food side of things--very fresh and lightly but sufficiently dressed with something citrus-y and not too oily. Oh, and I was duped into purchasing a whiskey sour slushie. It just seemed like it would be so refreshing. It must have cost nearly as much as my meal, given what my bill came out to. They must think I'm a sucker. Did they receive advance notice of my visit? It did kinda hit the spot, and I probably got drunker than I would have otherwise, because I was suffering from a minor heatstroke, so there was that.
