I've been to Time for Dinner several times for various meals. It's very clean and open. My favorite thing is the goat cheese dip which includes cranberries and pecans... Or is it walnuts?... in a goat cheese and cream cheese blended mix. I ordered a big peanut butter pie went last year. The saltine cracker snack (I forget the name) is good too. Love time for dinner. I used to come here for sessions and prepare my own food prior to COVID. During COVID they only had pick up so I switched to that. Since then, I have continually to just pick up food from them. The staff is always warm and welcoming. They always recognize me and are eager to assist. Food is always pretty good and since I don't know how to cook, it has been a lifesaver!!! The place itself is very clean and decorated well. There is always parking available. But I just talked to some of their staff at the Yelp event this past week (Fundraiser for the St Louis Crisis Nursery... great cause!), and thought... since I'm having surgery next week, I could really use some easy to grab items that my kids can help me make as I recover. I said I'd like to see frozen vegetable side dishes, and the lady showed me where to look for them and told me which ones were the most popular sellers, also providing a menu with descriptions of each dish, and gave me next month's menu to peruse later. What a great idea this is! I went tonight with some friends from work and had the best time. You pick your meals ahead of time and they have it all ready to go for you. I mean really ready! You go in stations and they have all Your spices laid out for you with an instruction card on how to assemble each meal. The workers are so helpful! (Especially for someone like me who isn't the most skilled person in the kitchen!). I can't wait to go back and do it again. The menu changes monthly. The meals are divided into two containers but if you want smaller portions you could use smaller ones. For example I got the Gouda burgers. It supposed to make 6 burgers but I made mine a little smaller and got 8 burgers. You just throw it all in the freezer and defrost in the fridge when you're ready. Great for busy families! What a cool experience for me. Sadly, i never knew some place like this existed.... I had the chance to meet Amy. She stated they have been around for 20 (!!) years! I told her this came at a really great time for our family as I have been looking into a meal prep kind of dealio (like hello fresh, blue apron, etc). I really like the idea of prepping my own meals, taking them home in freezer friendly containers and cooking them whenever we want. My daughter would love participating, and the fun thing is that she can tag along and help! The recipes look easy to follow and EVERYTHING is prepped for you to assemble. Easy to pop in the microwave for a minute, then serve with salsa for a quick lunch. I wish we had ordered more than 8. -Cheddar chicken bites. Fancy chicken nuggets paired perfectly with chicken dipping sauce. -Korean BBQ Steak. 2 giant tenderloins we grilled on the stovetop and served with rice and snow peas fresh from the garden. -Luau Pork. We cooked in the crockpot all day while we were out. It shredded easily and was very moist. We made BBQ pork sliders for dinner, and then had pork quesadillas for lunch today. -Pork Asado with Chimichurri Sauce. We served these pork medallions with rice and black beans. This place is AMAZING! Bought 2 entrees and a side of twice baked potatoes after picking our 2 Goldens up at the groomer next door. Wife is recovering from surgery, so I thought I would cook what I picked up for dinner tonight with our son coming home for Thanksgiving from college tonight. Well, so I get home and start defrosting the entrees by laying them out on the counter. Go upstairs to see how my wife is doing, and we hear what sounds like 2 dogs fighting downstairs. I run downstairs and find that our 2 good dogs have eaten the 2 entrees and most of the potatoes. Man. So I head back to Time For Dinner. I LOVE this place! Went with my daughters so we could split up our dishes as we are all 2 person households. While it seems a little pricey, when you think about not having to buy full size products for a couple tbs of this and a tsp of that, plus the Ziploc bags and freezer containers, I found it to be very affordable for me. Plus, maybe we won't order out so much with easy to fix dinners easily accessible at home. I've only tried two of the recipes we made so far, the peanut butter pie (omg!) and the rosemary flank steak (loved it!). Can't wait to try the others. So I came here a few weeks ago, and I'm just now getting around to writing a review. Bad Steph! Anyway, this place is nothing short of awesome. Time for Dinner is a place where you can prepare a meal using provided recipes, kitchen space, and ingredients. You then take the prepared meal home and cook it in your oven. Great, right? You don't have to worry about buying ingredients, recipe planning, or dirtying up your own kitchen. Saweet! I was actually here for a writing assignment, so didn't experience the full thrill of Time for Dinner, but I was able to prepare one recipe to take home. It was SUPER simple. I would imagine that one would save a ton of money by preparing their meals here. It costs $19 to make something in-house (6 servings per meal). If you make 5 meals, that's 30 servings of food for $100. Seems like a deal to me! I think this is a really neat place, and obviously, so do others; it was packed the night that I went! My review really can't do this place justice -- it's one of those things you just have to try out for yourself. read more

This place is so much fun! My girlfriend introduced me to it last year, and I've been in love ever since. Each month they have a rotating menu, so you don't feel like you ever get tired of eating the same ole things. Most everything that we have made here we have really liked. My favorite thing so far would either be the Buffalo turkey burgers, or the Chimichurri Pork. Both were amazing. We usually do this every 2 months or so. Depending on the time of year. In the winter, much more often because I don't do any grilling like I do in the summer. Sarah and I both are good cooks, but this is just so easy and also very economical. We do the 6 dishes with 6 servings each option. It usually takes us about an 1-1 1/2 hours to complete all of our dishes. We pack everything up with 2 servings each, which I really like. Makes cooking dinner after a bad day at work quick, easy, and thoughtless. Sometimes we also get creative, and might borrow ingredients from other stations we were at, and add them to something they don't necessarily belong in just to give it a little twist. I would recommend bringing in some wine or something of the like, it makes it much more fun. Sarah and I use this basically as a date night. I find myself recommending this to people all the time. I have been going to Time for Dinner for over 2 years now. I liked the experience so much I organized a group of co-workers and now they are all hooked. It is also a great gift to give for someone with a new baby. The staff is always super nice and helpful. I loved coming in preparing the meals, but now that I have less time with 2 kids and working I do the carryout option. It is well worth the extra expense. I just picked up my carryout yesterday and also got a free dessert. My next visit will be 40% off because my punch card is full. I love this place! I can't rave enough about Time for Dinner! It has completely changed the way my husband and I do dinner. We have been coming here exclusively for our home cooked meal options for several years now. My mother has been a customer for just as long and she drives her meals back to Kansas with her she loves them so much! They have an extensive menu each month with nutrition facts so you can make good choices for your family. They are split into three serving portions which is the perfect size for my husband and I to have dinner and for him to take some to work the next day. Making the meals is always a lot of fun and can be a great social event with friends and a bottle of wine. It generally takes me 1-1.5 hours to make 12 trays of food. The staff is amazing and incredibly friendly. They will offer you samples while you make your food, pack it up for you in your cooler, and even load it into your car. They do the shopping and the prep. You assemble the meals following their easy instructions, take them home and freeze them, then cook them later when you need them. Cooking instructions are simple. You can assemble six meals for six (total of 36 servings) in a little over an hour. No prep, no cleanup. This is a particularly ideal setup for someone who does not know how to cook or is just learning. There's no commitment, you sign up when you want without any obligation to keep signing up. Oh my gosh- I love to cook and never felt I needed to use one of these places for meal prep. A neighbor invited me to go, and I am now a true convert. I made a total of 48 servings for $150-a little over $3.00 each. The variety is great-I made meals of shrimp, chicken, pork roast, and steak, and hoagie sandwiches and a spaghetti casserole-a variety to meet every taste in my family. The prep areas are set up very efficiently with the appropriate sized measuring implement in each container so it goes quickly and is difficult to make mistakes. All directions are very clear on each work station. The meals are freezable and either are defrosted or warmed/baked in the oven. Each dish has stickers with directions. Another bonus is that Weight Watchers Plus points are figured and on the label, along with suggestions for side dishes to serve with the entree. Although many working mothers, and busy mothers of young ones were there, as the mother of college age kids, I think this is great to have when they come home, and also to send back with them so they can have healthy meals in their apartments. Dinners have always been a struggle for me--planning the meals, trying to come up with something different, shopping for the ingredients and then taking time to cook them. And then voila-TFD! This is such a wonderful place!!! All of the employees were super friendly and so helpful! The food looks delicious and is only of the highest quality. They make meal prepping almost easier than going out to dinner. Vegetables are washed and chopped, meat is trimmed, and everything is set out in order with its correct measuring utensil. It makes preparing Dinner super easy since your Entree is made for you along with very easy to follow simple preparation instructions. You then build around it with a vegetable, baked potato and a salad and you're done. This is a NO Brainer for anyone that is Single, Married or a Family. It's a Huge time saver and gives you an opportunity to eat really Great food at a very affordable price. Chefs create the entree ideas and either employees make them for you or you can go in and make them yourself or with a spouse. It's Fun if you want to go in with a girlfriend or your spouse. Assembling these yourself is very easy and fun for a couple. I can honestly say we have Never had an Entree we didn't like but maybe we had an Entree we wouldn't necessarily order again.
