    Quiche Maison
    Peter M.

Orange Paris Cafe, is a French eatery in a small strip area that houses a few other food outlets and has a gas station just outside of it. It is a unique concept and the place has a following. The dining area is small, but cozy and has a bistro feel, pictures of Paris adorn the walls (the restroom too) and there is French music to blend well with the simple ambiance. We ordered several items. First my Americano coffee (made with Italian espresso), was only good for a few sips, just too sweet for me. Second, the Quiche Maison (traditional French recipe, eggs, tomato, spinach, cheddar cheese). While this pie slice was soft and tasty, it was thin and could have easily passed off for pizza. What it lacked was the usual thickness one sees in a quiche slice, gives it body and also embeds the rich flavor of eggs and cream. Then came the crepes. The tomato and bacon was well received, as was the strawberry crepe. In this department, the crown goes to Crepe Suzette (orange syrup, orange zest, creme anglaise and whipped cream). It had optimum softness, the right amount of sweetness, chew and yes, butter. Truly a heavenly treat for the taste buds. Service is very slow, but rewarding. So if you are not in a hurry and are in the mood for fresh French brunch items, give this place a visit.

The egg and spinach crepe had an entirely raw (liquid) egg in it. It was also super greasy. The strawberry crepe was fine. No filling besides a little jam. The crepe was hard in some places. The restaurant is inside a gas station, which is super weird. We almost wanted to cancel the order, but we wanted to give them a chance. I have to give them credit for calling - they let us know they were out of the quiche when we placed the order online. The people seem nice. I'm just sorry this all happened.

Hubs and I were in the neighborhood so we opted to Orange Paris after discovering the cafe on Yelp. This place is located in a small strip mall across from a gas station. Unless you're local or a frequent visitor, I don't think you'll even notice this cafe at all. Upon entry, we seated ourselves soon after our preferred table was cleaned. The place was empty so we kinda hoped that our orders would be prepared soon after. Unfortunately, there was only one cook who looked new coz he had to look at the menu to verify what was in the dish we ordered and appeared to be being trained by a more experienced staff. The dishes we got were the prosciutto/Brie cheese omelette and Parisian ciabatta sandwich. The omelette was a bit salty and too buttery for taste; it was good for the most part so I know it's my taste buds, not them. The sandwich was yummy. The garlic pesto added that nice touch and the bread was really good. Overall, this is a solid 4.

We tried Orange Paris Cafe this morning and it was nothing short of exceptional!!! From the way we were greeted to the leaving it was a 10/10 experience. The food was so good, everything was fresh make , the service was so sincere and warm from the owner/chef/cashier / server (yes, one guy did it all by himself) who is a great asset made sure every single one of our needs were tended too. The food tasted so good !!!! Everything was house make , right in front of us, you feel like you are at home! If you love impeccable service, and food made fresh and with love, then do yourself the favor of visiting this hidden gem!

This spot was very nice. A small shop ran by the owner. I got the fresh squeezed orange juice which was very sweet and tasty, with the Royal Croissant. The Croissant tasted very fresh like it was made this morning with a perfect texture. It was buttery and came with eggs and a ham prosciutto. I'm very glad i decided to come by and check this place out.

Wow wow and wow. What an incredible meal. We order homemade oranginas, sandwiches, croissants, onion soup and macaroons for $40. All made in house by the owner and head chef who dances behind the counter and plays New Orleans style jazz. Don't be fooled that this cafe is in a gas station parking lot. Or that the plastic table cloths have faded in the sun. This place is a gem. Since one person is doing everything, don't expect fast service. if you want that, go to some crappy diner. Good things come to those who wait.

This place is a hidden gem, it's kinda hard to spot as it's tucked behind a gas station but you must stop and try it. The crepe ( sugar one) I got was light and fluffy, with a hint of lemon. The OJ was fresh pressed, it was amazing! Try it guys

Hidden OC gem. Great service with personal touch from the owner. Quick service. Food was served hot and presentation was great. Varied menu for breakfast and lunch. They do have mimosas! Tasty and fresh. If you like Moulin on Bristol but not the crowd or the outside dining this place is a perfect and delicious alternative. We will be back! I did hear the chimes of delivery orders so check them out there if you are craving French food but want to stay home to eat!

Sometimes you come across a surprising place. This is a little "hole in the wall" restaurant behind a gas station with an owner who is sharing his love of Paris and simple food. Wonderful savory & sweet crepes with hotel butter, fresh squeezed orange juice, croissants are flaky and delicious. 10/10 for personal touches and service. The owner does everything in this place.

This place is a Hidden Gem. The owner is Amazing. He moved from France to give his Boys 16 & 8 the experience of living in a foreign country. His Family liked it so much they decided to "make a go of it"! The ambience is adorable with French music playing, little tables to give the Paris experience. The Owner has a wonderful delightful spirit. The Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice was the best I've had in years. I watch them press the fresh oranges right then. The crepes were delicious. The Paris Quesadillas was wonderful. This is Beyond a 5 Star experience. Definitely come enjoy this Hidden Gem, enjoy the wonderful food and support a Delightful man and his family by dinning with him.

I'm glad she put us on the waitlist but I think the wait is only long if you have a big party. First impression of this restaurant is that it was a bit disorganized. Even just checking in on their yelp was a mess. You have the same line for people putting their name down and people wanting to check in for their table so it was just a bit messy. On top of that the line for their to go counter also bleeds into the check-in line so so you can only imagine how many are in one area. This place can get busy especially on the weekends. We didn't have to wait to long because we had already put our name before even heading into the restaurant. We ordered the chicken spring roll, egg roll and pork vermicelli, lemongrass vermicelli and steak and rice. I would say all the food we got was actually pretty good. The spring roll was decent but it was the vermicelli bowls that we enjoyed a lot. I definitely enjoyed the lemon grass vermicelli. It is definitely worth the try I would say, food and is good. I also appreciate that we had a couple of folks who checked up on our table to make sure we had everything we needed.

Only recently was I able to visit and try their croffles and other sweets. Did NOT know that this was inside the H Mart food court in Diamond Jamboree. Parking is horrendous and the driving there is horrendous as well. Probably the easiest and least horrifying option just to automatically default to is to just park in the overflow lot right next to the plaza. There's no indicator for the parking garage so on a particularly busy day, you can head all the way to the top, find nothing and navigate through the hell crowds trying to leave. Ambiance is a very casual, counter order business in the food court. There's seating there, but we ate really close by. Definitely something you have to eat immediately or the texture will not be optimal or it might get soggy. We got the tiramisu croffle and they toasted it and put it together for us there. The lady working there packed it up nicely in a to go box and we got some cookies (regular ones and almond crisp ones). It's a bit sweet, but they're dessert pastries so that makes sense. Goes great with a brewed cup of tea. Croffle had a nice semi-chewy texture and the tiramisu flavor added a bit of a coffee taste to it. Good balance of the cream and croffle. The cookie wasn't too bad either. Overall not a bad to go dessert spot.

When we ordered the cinnamon roll, there was no option to heat it up, so we thought they would have done it already. When it was served, it was rock solid. So, we asked them to heat it up. However, after a few minutes, it still wasn't that gooey and the inner core was still pretty tough. Perhaps they could have warmed it up so that it was evenly softened. Overall, the cinnamon roll was alright. It was a brioche roll so you would think it might be lighter and fluffy, but ours was pretty dry. However, the cream on top was insanely good. It carried the roll. The hazelnut twist was kind of what you would expect. A twisted pastry but with a hefty amount of hazelnut-chocolate spread thru the layers. We sat in a little nook, where there was a magnetic black board, where there were word tiles you could rearrange in any way. It was a nice place to just look around at all the sentences the community wrote. Chess tables were also available as extra seating. Overall, the service was good, but could be better when warming up pastries, so that the customer can enjoy them properly!

I put the order 5 days before I said it needed it and they agreed it can be done by then. I thought it was easy and I just followed it up with the change of topping on the cake. I explicitly stated to text me if they needed anything else from me since I have never done this before. I probably should've followed them up, but I was busy that week. Since I didn't hear anything afterwards I thought I had secured my order. The day I come to pick up the cake, they tell me they don't have the order. The lady who I spoke to, who I'm assuming was on the phone when I initially called, is telling me I put a request not an order and that I didn't even provide my full name (not true, I did). I'm being told that I shouldve put down a deposit and have a contract with them for the cake. I wasn't provided with any contract or a Zelle username. If I had that information I would've absolutely done it. As a business you should provide the customer with that sort of information. I had no idea and I wasn't told that thru text. Should I have followed up? Absolutely, i know that now. There's no information on the website about a contract or deposit information. Only the phone number that I first called. So they should probably update that if they have so many orders and can't keep track with request. There was a lot of deflection from the lady when i tried to explain my grievance. No apology either for the confusion. I felt crazy because I thought I might've missed their messages. Nope nothing. Only the Zelle information after I had arrive there. Luckily, they had puff pastry ready and told me they could have the cake ready in 15 min, and I really needed the cake so I agree to still do business. When I got the cake it was still warm and they told me to freeze it in my refrigerator for it to set. 15 min to get to my place and the ganache has melted off the top and custard had already spilled out from the sides. I had a long drive afterwards and not even an insulated bag could save it. It did taste good, it's too bad about communication, and everything else.
