If you are looking for a cozy cafe in Orange County you must give this place a try . When I say it's cozy it's perfectly cozy I love that they have like a backyard kind of feel where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air outside with your tea and or coffee . I'm sure you can sit there and enjoy a good book or finish up some needed work. I got their matcha latte and boy let me tell you it's sooo good you can taste all of the matcha mixed in there. Very enjoyable . They have bunch of other stuff like coffee and smoothies as well as açaí bowls . I'll totally will be coming back to try what else they have on their menu. Visited here two separate times for a refreshing tea on a hot day and this place hit the spot! Very small interior, honestly it's kind of stuffy in there so I'm not sure how people chill and work in there. But simple menu and decent prices. I got the Peach Green Tea it was so good, exactly what I wanted at the moment! I feel like there was a good balance of the fruit flavor as well as the tea flavor! I came here after a workout because I was craving an acai bowl and a lot of places don't open until 9:00AM. I got the aćai bowl which they only have 1 option for it but you can add a couple things to it if in additional like peanut butter for an extra charge. They don't blend the açai fresh - I believe the cups are pre-done in a freezer in the back and then they add the fruits + granola. It didn't have as much flavor as other bowls I've had, felt like it could use some simple adds like coconut shavings and agave or honey. It's still lusciously green and covered in vines but now it's also been modernized with concrete and organic wood details. Trendy, unique little coffee and tea shop! The drinks were delicious and super interesting. First time ever seeing banana coffee on a menu let alone trying it! My husband ordered the banana coffee hot and I got an iced campfire latte. Their chai tea was also recommended to us. The avocado toast we ordered was just ok, and it took a long time. Their drinks were definitely their superior menu item. Our drinks came out pretty quickly, but it seemed like a fair number of people were waiting 5-10+ minutes for theirs. Their bathroom was also a downside. It did not have the same cute, updated aesthetic as the rest of the cafe. I had to rummage through their storage cabinet to find TP, and they were also out of paper towels (couldn't find those). Overall, I would have their drinks again but only if I wasn't in a hurry! That oat milk lavender tea is the goat!!!! Gosh the Lavender Oatmilk tea is so refreshing! It is way better than it has any right to be! Like how is this drink so good?!?! It's delicious. 10/10 I have ordered two different smoothies from Milk & Honey now. The smoothies are really good. The mango was probably my favorite! I ordered the Wild Berry the other day and that was good too. I did not like the raspberry seeds in the drink though. That is my only complaint about that smoothie. Overall not a good first time experience, 2 stars is being generous. Maybe the girl at the register is having a bad day but you could tell she didn't care to be responsive. With a "no care" attitude when I asked a couple simple questions. I asked for an oatmilk latte and she made it with whole milk, so she had to remake my drink. They also were out of truvia sweetener and didn't have any lids left, so had to leave without a lid. Plus the bathroom was a disaster, barely any toilet paper, and no paper towels. First time trying this place and I'm not sure if it was just a little too busy for one person. But I really felt bad for the girl working. I looked at the menu and decided on a flavored latte and yogurt parfait. Ordered and paid, she then continued to make the to go order she was working on (totally fine). As I was looking around I saw several milks all out on the counter not in the fridge along with several creamer holders around the space dirty. On top of that in the food prep area there were a few pairs of dirty gloves strewn on the cutting board area. When the cabinet was opened to get the flavor I saw syrups with no tops on them. And then was informed they 'just ran out' of the flavor I requested hazelnut and did I want to do vanilla instead.. Tbh I really didn't but I sure didn't want caramel so fine (the flavor selection was kind of limited.) Again I want to make it clear the girl working Brie was very nice she was friendly she put gloves on at appropriate times etc not a single thing wrong is her fault. She was clearly a little stressed between to gos and walk in orders. And seemed like she didn't have appropriate supplies or support to do her job in an organized way. She was great and the things that are dirty or not put away I think are a result of not having a second person or the owner there to help even just for an hour or two. My latte and yogurt were fine. Nothing amazing nothing bad just eh. The price was kinda more than one would think for a yogurt and basic latte. The place itself was cute but I think the owner needs to hire or help support the staff a bit at busy times. The two stars are literally for the employee and only the employee! If I was rating the place alone I would give one and suggest the owner adjust practices/spend some time in their shop before they get a health inspector visit. read more

Milk & honey has a lot of charm. The plants and decor throughout really make it a welcoming and beautiful place to study or just relax. It is on the smaller side, however. There initially wasn't any seating available but when we came back a half hour later there was. We ordered the Hanoi iced coffee and banana iced coffee with almond milk. I loved the banana iced coffee! It was delicious and the taste of the banana wasn't overpowering. I was not a fan of the Hanoi coffee, unfortunately. It just wasn't my personal preference. I know Vietnamese coffee is strong but I found the taste to be almost bitter, and the hazelnut cream was too sweet for me. I would like to come back and try their Spanish iced latte. read more

There was barely any avocado on the toast, an extremely over seasoned egg, and then it looked like they just threw mixed greens on top. I also ordered the London Fog and my husband got the Vanilla Chai. Thankfully his tea was fine but mine tasted like just... hot water. Literally no flavor at all. The guy & girl working were so warm, friendly & fun! Great customer service!!! We got a couple of açaí bowls and milk teas. I got the lavender milk tea, it was delish, & my son got the London Fog hot tea, & he & his friend both got açaí bowls. This place was a great place to talk, work. I enjoyed my time here. I came around 7ish PM and it was very empty not alot of customers. It was an open space coffee place with some tables outside. The coffee options were good. I enjoyed mine. They had gelato as well. The customer service was awesome. Tara the barista was very kind in lending me her charger when I had forgotten mine. It's got a cute name. And that might be the best part. (Full Review Below) I am the worlds first Coffélier™ (pron: Coffee--lee-a). Think sommelier but for coffee. I've been severely addicted since I was 12 when my dad offered me a black drip coffee and I've never looked back. Considering my coffee palate has been in development for quite a bit longer than most, I consider myself reliable to review coffee. One thing is always true though, I never review stores with more than 100 locations. At that point, that would be as futile as reviewing every McDonalds, not worth your or my time. We know what we are getting with those stores. COFFEE: 2.5 /5 stars - Bog-Standard Normally I have a unique ability to judge a coffee's flavor consistencies and inconsistencies... In the case of milk and honey, it is bog-standard average coffee flavor. Nothing stands out to me about it, but perhaps that is a good thing. If we compare coffee to water, the last you really want is for your water to deviate that far from standard. That being said, it will pair nicely with whatever cream or sugar you normally enjoy with you black sludge. CUPS: 2.5 /5 stars - Standard Plastic, plastic, plastic... Cup is normal to-go cup, not a sip cup at least, but standard. ATMOSPHERE: 1.75 /5 stars - Below Average It is very clear that careful consideration has been made to make this coffee shop more lovely than it otherwise would be... But with that being said, the music is too loud, the indoor space is much too cramped and the outdoor space is accompanied by a concrete bench, that, while it may pleasing the eye, is fairly uncomfortable to sit in. Since Milk and Honey is directly off the street as well, traffic noise is quite loud. The one redeeming quality about this shop is that it is a corner shop, so it feel significantly less cramped than it other wise would be. And I happen to think the table I am sitting at is pretty cool. Other than that though, pretty meager environment to be enjoyable in any right. And on this subject, just because a coffee shop has been decorated in a way that makes it ideal for taking instagram pictures and snapchats, the space still has to be functional and ENJOYABLE. Which it is neither. PRICE: 3.5/5 Stars - Average My regular size Iced Americano was $3.77, which is lower than normal for OC/Socal. Good work Milk and Honey. PARKING: 2.5/5 Stars - Could be better. I was here at a time when most people aren't. Noon on a Thursday. That being said, parking lot is small, but I did find a space immediately. I would surmise that this parking will become quite full quite easily at rush times. OVERALL: 2.05 /5 Stars - Change is hard, but necessary. Namely, the traffic noise could be subdued - to a degree - with the addition of some sort of noise absorbing barrier between the street and the outdoor space. That music volume could very easily be reduced. The furniture could change from brutalist to comfortable. The coffee could change from "bulk espresso roast" to ILLY or some other special coffee supplier that is not simply, bog-standard. Parking could be improved with the addition of "Milk and Honey" only spaces. Cups could be changed to compostable. Honestly, not many big changes, and this coffee shop could easily go from below average to a solid 4-star establishment. I hate to be too harsh as I know running a coffee shop is stressful and competitive, but the changes we are looking at here are mostly minor, securing better coffee is probably the only change that will be troublesome to any degree.
