Despite the fact it was after hours (evening before the party), Rod actually spent 20 minutes with me via FaceTime to diagnose the problem, assist me with repairing a valve and priming a pump. He provided me with specific instructions and he was able to get everything working again all via FaceTime. HE DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! He was sympathetic to my time critical situation, and he genuinely wanted to be helpful. He would not accept any money despite my insistence. You just don't see this type of authentic integrity anymore. Excellent work ethic, extremely knowledgeable, quick response, and he didn't feel right charging me simply because he wasn't there in person. The FaceTime instruction was extremely educational and his thorough step-by-step guidance was spot on. He was very patient with me. Other companies said it would be $475 just to come out and take a look. This is the only company I will use for all my future pool service needs. Hard to find people like Rod these days. Doing some last minute…read morefilter cleaning before going out of town on vacation and when I started the cleaner the old plastic drain plug on the filter system exploded and water was going everywhere. Only had a few hours before I was leaving. Pool was already showing some green on the walls on a hot summer day and I also have a house sitter who was looking forward to the use of the pool. Did a quick yelp search and the service with the quickest response time was K & K. From the time I called to the time they made it to my house and replaced the drain plug was about an hour! I realize it wasn't a complicated fix but I was in a huge time crunch. I'm lucky it busted while I was home and watching it because it would have been a disaster if it happened to our house sitter.
