I used most of my sessions, but needed a short extension to finish what I already paid for. When I spoke to the manager, I was told a 30-90 day extension "doesn't make financial sense" for them--unless I purchase more sessions. That response says it all. Customer health and basic fairness clearly take a back seat to upselling. Refusing a simple extension on services I already paid for- while suggesting I spend more money--is a bad look, plain and simple. profit-first, people-second mindset To make it worse, another location (my local Louisiana location) was willing to help, they are even the ones to suggest I reach out for an extension but their hands were tied because I didn't buy the package there. So I ended up losing sessions I already paid for over rigid, profit-first policies. If you're not local or have a schedule that isn't predictable, think twice before buying here. My first trainer moved a month in. Took two weeks to hear from the replacement who I learned at our first visit wasn't available when I was. So I left work early on trainer days to accommodate her schedule. She moved away three weeks later and it took another two weeks for a new trainer to contact me (so three total training weeks lost through no fault of my own). By that time, my 3-month contract was over. I asked for a refund for the three visits ($170) that were missed considering I'd held up my side of the contract and my work schedule is busy in the fall. I didn't want to extend. Denied. So be aware that there's zero wiggle room if THEY make a mistake, and you're held to paying for it either way. EDIT to add they offered a year for me to use the sessions they missed. But not being able to create a relationship with *a* trainer and now having one-offs available isn't helpful in my work schedule so I'll end up eating the money.

On December 2nd, I decided to cancel my membership as Adams county went to Covid level red. As the gym is very small I felt incredibly unsafe going to a gym in general. I called the main number listed here on google and they said in the voicemail that the primary way to contact was via email, so I emailed about cancelling my membership as I was no longer attending classes. I heard a response back on December 3rd asking if I wanted to freeze my account or cancel it, as I was unsure how the pandemic was going to pan out I decided to cancel my membership. I didn't hear back until December 7th and they proceeded to respond saying that they responded asking me what I wanted to do with my membership and I proceeded to state that I wanted to cancel it already in my previous emails and that I was the one who didn't hear back. No email response. I called the number they gave me on December 16th and sent another email. I get a call back on December 17th confirming my membership was cancelled (and I won't get a refund) and that I have my membership until January 2nd. I was okay with that, until December 21st when I got charged again for my monthly payment (that was supposed to be cancelled). Why does it over 2 weeks to get a membership cancelled for it to not get cancelled? The fact they say they contact me (I am getting zero responses and no one is answering my calls). This is by far the worst experience I've had with a gym. All I wanted was to cancel my membership but my Club Pilates app and my bank statements are saying otherwise. This was just a battle of email and phone tag. Now I'm down $159 for something I'm not even using for. This is a money hungry company and if I'm gonna spend $159 monthly one something, it's definitely no longer Club Pilates. They just care about money and themselves. This is your sign to look elsewhere for a gym that cares about their people and not your money.

I'd have to guess that it is even cleaner now with everybody constantly wiping the equipment down with the readily available sanitizing wipes. I appreciate the staff keeping an eye on members to ensure they are wearing their masks. Emily Anne runs a tight ship and I admire her professionalism and attention to detail. Ian never misses an opportunity to greet a member and throw out a compliment. Paige covers a lot of ground, I never see her stop...another great employee. And Lexi! What a wonderful ambassador for Chuze Fitness. She makes everybody feel welcome. I could go on and on about the others. I have worked out in gyms all over the country and numerous others in other countries. Chuze is a hard act to beat. Overall, a great gym, especially for the price.
