Do BETTER OTF PROSPER (Ryan) OTF at this location needs better management. They are inconsiderate and unorganized. I did not want to post a review because I understand mistakes happen. However, they booked me for a day during a time they were closed. The door says 24/7 by the way. I show up on a Sunday after cancelling plans with friends. They are not there. I email them after I realized that they booked me without warning for a date and time that I have to work. I email and call to cancel the date. I then get a text message stating that they've missed me at an appointment that I've already spoken for. Please get it together! read more

Today, I arrived around 8:15 a.m. and approached the front desk to reserve my usual equipment setup, which includes the floor, bike, and strider. This selection allows me a safe workout environment, which is essential as I am recovering from chemotherapy and managing a heart condition. Maddie at the front desk informed me that I could not reserve both a bike and a strider. Although I had not encountered this restriction in my many previous visits, I accepted the strider and waited for class. While waiting for class to start, Coach Amy, familiar with my situation, approached me as she noted that I did not have my usual booking. Coach Amy kindly offered to update my reservations to include the bike and strider. However, after completing the floor exercises and moving to the bike, Maddie entered the studio and instructed me to leave the bike, stating again that I was not permitted to reserve it. I then approached the desk and explained that Coach Amy had arranged the equipment for me, which we confirmed according to the documented sign-up sheet, but Maddie responded by telling me that set up should have never been allowed. I told her that due to my medical needs, it made me feel most comfortable. Maddie then stated that that if I required such accommodations, I should consider canceling my membership as OTF cannot accommodate. She spoke to me in a dismissive manner, ultimately making me feel unwelcome and embarrassed as it caused a bit of a scene in the middle of class. Coach Amy subsequently confirmed my arrangement with the front desk, but Maddie continued to act unprofessionally, stomping around and showing visible frustration, while another staff member calmly assisted me with canceling the class. The other staff member was great and professional. When I requested Maddie's name, she responded with a sneer, further underscoring her lack of professionalism and leaving me feeling disrespected. This situation has brought to my attention the inconsistency in how equipment reservation policies are communicated and enforced. Having attended multiple sessions per week over the past several months, this was the first time I had heard of any such restriction. For the benefit of all members and to avoid future misunderstandings, it may be wise to post equipment reservation restrictions clearly, as staff appear to apply these policies inconsistently. Given this experience, I no longer feel comfortable attending your studio. I am requesting the immediate cancellation of my membership, effective today, along with written confirmation that I will not be charged any further fees. It is disappointing to end my membership this way, as I had truly valued my time at OTF. However, I believe that respect and a clear understanding of member needs are essential qualities for any fitness facility, and I did not feel this during my recent experience I am sure you have cameras, I invite you to watch the interaction at approximately 8:50am on November 2, 2024 at your studio to validate this interaction. I really enjoy this gym and location! Friendly front desk, energetic and knowledgeable coaches, and a challenging but doable work out. Coaches are more than willing to help find modifications and challenges for all fitness levels. If you are looking for a super motivating class environment, this is your place! Everyone at the front desk is super friendly. The trainers are incredible. Each class is designed with different workouts so you don't see a lot of repetition. Trainers are also very attentive. They help you out when they see you are doing an exercise incorrectly and can provide different options. The music selected for each class is great. Overall, amazing experience working out here. Highly recommend for anyone who struggles to get into the groove of working out. This place will motivate you and will become something that you look forward to doing! read more

Very disappointed. I am a 3 year member of OT and I was visiting this studio as a guest for the 2nd time. I walked in 10 seconds after the cut off time. (I understand that cut off times are there for a reason) I explained that I was driving a bit of a distance to get to the studio and that I was late due to circumstances surrounding being in town for my sister in laws' funeral. The gal at the desk kindly smiled and said, "let me ask". She walked in to the fitness room and asked Kate the head trainer for this location, she abruptly shook her head no. I understand rules, but there are times when we must walk in a bit of empathy and understanding. I am sure it is not often that someone walks in to the studio relieve some stress due to the circumstances surrounding the passing of a loved one. The front desk staff is rude and the process of just getting into a class is extremely disorganized. They text you 30 minutes before class and you have to choose which spot to start on. So, in other words, you have to GUESS--out of 20 spots--what number is possibly open. Obviously you never guess the right one so they end up just telling you what you're starting on. But you have to play the back and forth guessing game first. Not to mention, this is if you're even able to sign up for a class. If you don't sign up 2 weeks before you can't get a morning class--not even at 4:30 am. And then if you do sign up in advance and things change to where you can't make it, you only get 8 hours to cancel or else you have to pay for a class you missed. I personally got my purse stolen and had to cancel my credit card. Billing time for OTF comes around and they sent me the weirdest message about how they're going to call me constantly if I don't pay. I'M OBVIOUSLY GOING TO PAY once my new card comes in.......but only for this last month because I am out. It's unfortunate because the actual coaches are mostly good. They could use a little more energy, but at least they're not rude like the front desk staff. read more

I am beyond frustrated with this place. I organized my whole day to fit in a starter class, was called the day prior to handle the paperwork and told to show up a few minutes before class. On my way to the 945 am class i was called at 937, as I was literally pulling in the parking lot and told I could not attend. Too bad because I was planning on spending the ridiculous $499 for your 30 pack as my company pays for it. Glad i saved my money. Poor first experience. Shut me down before I even walk in the door! I absolutely love OTF! I've been going on and off for almost 5 years now and to this location since July. This location is convenient, right off Preston road. The workouts are awesome! It's like having a personal training at a gym with every class being different. The coaches are great! They motivate you to do your best to reach your goals. I only go twice per week, but it has helped me out a lot. Fairly easy to sign up for a class if you plan ahead. App has been easy to use. The two main coaches I typically have (Ginny and Alex) are great. If you're not a treadmill and rowing person, you may want to try something else. However, I always leave with a sense that I got in a great workout. read more
