Everyone at Orangetheory is very welcoming and appreciative. The instructors are great! They really help you when you're not doing an exercise correctly. They help you to get your form right. I have been a member of Orangetheory Fitness since March 2017. As an experienced endurance athlete I can honestly say that the system and ideas that OTF uses truly work. If you're looking to shed some weight, A LOT of weight, or just even tone up and get that beach body then you need to give this gym a try. I've been to different locations and this one has become by far my favorite for multiple reasons: 1. The space of this gym is much larger than your typical Orangetheory gym, you don't have to worry about the tight spaces by the lockers or climbing one another while entering the workout room. You immediately see the difference once you walk into the studio. 2. The head trainer, Nikia, is by far my favorite coach at all Orangetheory gyms. I love the way she gives every single client equal amounts of attention, you'll never feel left out when she's coaching. I have certain training restrictions that prohibit me from using treadmills so as a result of that I stick to riding the stationary bike. I've always felt left out when going to other trainers because they usually forget to give direction to the one biking. I've never had that issue with Nikia, when she directs the treadmills to step it up she also instructs me to take it a step further on the bike and I love that. 3. The rest of the staff in the studio are just some of the most friendly bunch of people you'll ever meet. All of them are super approachable and welcoming and if you have any questions about something they are happy to help. The general manager of this studio, Maggie, did an amazing job of putting together an awesome team and you can see that everyone here works so well together. Hubby and I love Orangetheory Fitness. We both go regularly and have gotten a few friends and family members to sign up. My "home" gym is in the Woodlands, but we moved and this one is a tad closer with less traffic. The coaches are friendly and do a good job of keeping you motivated and on track. I only have one complaint (that keeps this location from being 5 stars), most OTF gyms have people take a card or write on a board for what machine and area they will start off on. My husband and I arrive fairly early and like to start off on the treadmills next to each other. With not having a system in place people push to get to the front or even sneak in the back to take the machines they want instead of arriving early and picking ahead. Not anything major but has bummed me out a few times when we arrived 10 minutes early and did not get to work out near each other because we didn't push our way to the front. read more

I'm not a member at this OTF, but have came here before to workout while I'm in town with my sister. My sister had a baby two months ago and is ready to start working out again. So we signed her up for class this week. We arrived at 10:20 for her 10:15 appointment for 10:45 class(after having to feed the baby who nursed a tad longer than normal and hitting every red light). Point being life happens and the staff there was not very understanding. While others who were trying out there free class were sitting waiting. I understand policy but there was still plenty of time to talk her through paperwork and the previous class was still in session so the coach couldn't even walk her through the program yet. Very disappointed, I was really looking forward to a workout with my sister for something we could do together when I'm in town. read more

I see a lot of people complaining on here that THEY didn't show up to a class on time and thus were not permitted to work out. Sounds like you folks have a punctuality issue. Great workout! Don't agree to the rules if you aren't prepared to deal with the consequences of not showing up on time. read more

Great workout but they will charge you if your child is sick and you need to reschedule a class...no flexibility in scheduling...oh and don't you get sick either...you will be charged...good way for them to make extra money, at the expense of their members...terrible customer service. Came here with a friend. My OTF home is in west Houston. The staff and gym are real nice. One of the largest OTF gyms I've seen. The showers and restrooms are nice. Only issue is the coaches need to pay more attention to participants who seem to be struggling. I'm one of those who struggle and my home coaches will scale the workout for me. I quickly recover and sometimes get back to the set workout. OTF Spring please make sure the coaches watch and scale participants if needed. This is a good OTF fo here and enjoy! read more

Staff was very rude. I went to have a free trial class that was charged for because I wasn't "local" (I told them I lived 15 min away). They told me to arrive promptly at 8:00am and when I arrived at 7:58 they told me I didn't come early enough. They dropped me from the class and told me the next available class is at 4:00pm. This is ridiculous and a terrible first experience. I will never be getting a membership or returning to Orange Theory again, and I suggest you do the same. read more

I have absolutely enjoyed my workouts at Orange theory fitness Spring location. I have been a member for about 12 days and I've lost 3 pounds so far! The coaches are very supportive and they have very challenging workouts. The staff has been super friendly every time I go in. This new studio just opened up close to home and I am loving it so far! It definitely gives you the push and motivation to work out and keep coming back. The classes are fun and challenging. The best part is that they can gear the class towards any fitness level. The coaches are super supportive and are helpful when correcting form. I like that they are paying attention to everyone in the class to make sure we are getting in the best workout possible. Also, it's nice that they have plenty of lockers and showers. Would never get to know how the class actually was because they didn't even let me in. Class started at 10:45 they called me at 10:15 and I told them I was about to be there. Got in at 10:20 because there was no parking in their lot so I parked by Party City. My sister was waiting for me inside and told them I was looking for parking and as soon as I walked in the door she asked if I wanted to reschedule because I was five minutes late. My sister was just sitting there at the front waiting to speak to the coach and I stuck around for a while and the coach wasn't even available to speak to her yet, so I really don't understand why they didn't let me stay for the class as I was interested on being a client. After five minutes waiting with my sister she was still sitting there waiting, so I left. Won't be returning to this location. read more

Rating: Double minus zero stars. If you are looking to be shamed, embarrassed, then punished, and experience a humiliating complete waste of your time, then this is the spot for you. I was so excited from viewing the website, I took a break from work in my office and I called as I was booking on line, and the rep on the phone offered to book me for later today so I agreed. My "free workout" was for 6:45p and I was to be in by 6:25p. I arrived at 6:10p & entered the building early as there is paperwork and a tour. I had to give my credit card number over the phone to book the session but was told it would not be charged. It was needed for ID purposes. Before hanging up I was told to bring a towel, ID, water bottle and my credit card - again the credit card - complimentary first work out - but OK. When I arrived I was told that since I was early that I could complete the paperwork and it had been emailed to me, my personal email address. I stated "well ok so do you have forms here or should I try to access on my phone? My phone is in the car." The lady at the desk flatly said "Yes, why don't you do that?" "Go get the phone?" I asked. "Yeah just Go back to your car and fill out the form on your phone". Instead of giving me the forms, I was told to return to my car and complete it on my phone and come back. I came in with my phone in progress of the form to be timely for class but the internet connection is known to not be good inside so it twirled on my screen as the rep witnessed. (docusign?!!!) but then I was interrupted from the form to give my credit card and swipe it for Identity purposes... but my ID is used for identity- credit card number was taken over the phone. I questioned but agreed. Card swiped in the card machine. Then I was prompted to take a picture (why? I have not joined anything?) I was told "so no one can come in and say they are you."(that is not happening today or the near future. (No one knows I have come here to be humiliated- only you and I) and then I was immediately told to go now and not worry about the form but to tour the studio with a young man. While being loudly questioned by this guy about fitness and weight loss goals in the doorway, in front of, and in the direct path of the exiting class, It became super evident that I am not of any importance to these people. They will as a team. WILL make sure to get it wrong and make you as uncomfortable as possible. My enthusiasm almost totally depleted... until the instructor came up whispering in the ear of the guide. He whispered to the tour guide before passing on (so very rude) something in his ear...and then the guide with the clip board cut the tour saying they want the form and took me back up front to finish the form. They were going to print it. But both women just looked and did a slow mo double take like which way or how should I get the form printed.... and at that time they looked at each other and one of the two horrible women in the front, looking uncoordinated (in front of the on coming class) embarrassed me and told me I would not be admitted because I was past the time now and late. I am not late. Just a professional leaving work ahead of time to be punctual and make time for self improvement... and chose your studio, the worst studio unbeknownst to me, to embrace a new opportunity to be fit, and trust you to guide me timely. Huh? So no work out? And the looks from the passers by overhearing all this from the staff to me was just devastating. I am punished and unable to workout because of what reason? This is your rodeo show of back and forth foolishness. I was here before time and totally open to the process. It was just one negative thing after the other. Your flow is totally off. I was disappointed and for the $$$$179.00 a month I was considering... the frustration caused for showing up on time and the risk of being admitted or not being admitted, depending on how competent the staff is, is a NO. One could just buy a treadmill and try to wing it. What hurts most is - a complete waste of time. If you want a snarky vibe and no compassion or consideration for your time and goals then visit the Orangetheory in Spring. They are waiting for their next victim. Better yet look at the neon lights and machines from the window as that may be the best view. That way you miss the poor treatment. Now what's their excuse for how they treated others. Spring could use a lesson in the customer experience and how to explain things without being condescending and curt..... AND how many unmasked people can you pack into a confined space? Masks are not required so I guess number of unmasked in a small space must not matter to them. I just read about a few of these other disappointed people. Love this place! They are super friendly over the phone and in person-- not intimidating like some workout facilities can tend to be. Your first class is free, but be early! Like at least 10 min early. Bring a towel (Bc you'll sweat a lot) and a bottle of water. They have a fountain where you can refill water bottles inside the workout area. The instructor walks you through some things you need to know for the class beforehand (so that you don't hurt yourself). They will also help you decipher your results at the end (in terms of colors and splat points). The employees are friendly and so are the people who workout there. It's very clean! They have bathrooms and a shower. Locked lockers and cubbies. Also be sure to ask if they have any specials, when I joined there was a special for referrals and I didn't even know it! If you need a referral, you can use my name. But really, a really good workout. You will sweat and be sore. read more

I have been a member just over a month now. I have NEVER been able to stick to a workout routine. I am happy to say that I have consistently gone 3-4 times a week. Better yet, I look forward to going! The coaches are great, the atmosphere can't be beat, and the workouts have contributed to a 10 lb weight loss already!
