Best coaches and staff in town. The price is with it, the workouts are intense but satisfying.

The name of this place. Horrendous…read more... But pretty good gym for the price. The equipment selection is very vast. It's never insanely busy here even during lunch and after work hours. So you will always hone an area or machine freed up for you. My only complaints is that they blast booty rap really loud through the speakers. Like the loudest gym ever where you can barely hear the people at the front desk when speaking to them. Other times they will play butt rock which is just a tad more tolerable. Some may not survive without head phones. The men's bathroom is not the cleanest. Always smells. If you are a sauna user. It is also just mid. My other bigger complaint is that the heavy bags upstairs are unusable. They hung em on chains so high that they are pretty much unusable and they run into the ceiling frame. Kind of a safety issue on that part..... Other than that, better than most other gyms in this area of the price point

DONT GO HERE, shitty staff AND DIRTY. I'm a gym fiend, I…read morelike to go to the staples and try out what they got. Worst experience I've ever had with gyms. Don't even ask for trial passes and one week pass. Same price as the membership. This place is just trying to bleed you of money. They don't care about the gains like their name states. Day 1 when I tried signing up I arrived at 6am, stood at the front desk for nearly 20min with no one around. Turns out dude was in the restroom making TikTok's. Signed up, no tour, no info on the gym, no idea what he was even really doing. Day 15 I walked in to the gym, signed in. Walked past front desk, went to warm up and forgot my water bottle in my car. Went to grab it then came back in. While I was walking back in the front desk dude yelled with insane attitude "hey sign in" I replied I already did, maybe if you weren't on your phone looking down when I walked in the first time you would have known. I am all for understanding, but you raise your voice at me like that? Not my jam, but I kept it cool cause I just took some pre and figured I was just raging from the pre. But it pissed me off and ruined my lift for that day. Day 25 they don't seem to know which is a standard for their foam roles or straps. One person lent me the foam roles, another person required an item to check it out. I attended this gym for maybe 3 or 4 month and went right back to BigTex cause this gym sucked. They say 'Mecca' or whatever but this place is Mecca crap. Scummy management, save your money. Go to BigTex, MetroFlex or even Fitness Connect. Prices are similar. Loud music, and when I say loud you have noise canceling headphone on and you still hear their gyms music. Dirty! cleaning staff is there but somehow it's still nasty, dried sweat on the window for months on end. "Ohh it's busy" I drew an 8 on the door with my sweat and it stayed there for nearly a month. I'd rather be at metroflex with the weight outside in a barn basically. Restrooms never seem to be working properly, one of the showers is always running. Yet no one is in there. Haunted or busted water system? Final review it's a NEW gym but somehow feels like it's already 4 years old. Cool equipment, shitty staff, shitty management, shitty deals, shitty across the board. Yet they are EXPANDING and making ANOTHER gym? Focus on one make it awesome, then start another. Money grubbing at its finest

If a machine is being repaired, there's usually a second machine to use. It's not as clean as other gyms but that is not solely the gym's responsibility. The cleaning stations commonly need to be replenished but there's also nearly cleaning stations you can resort to. Plus you get extra steps, win? At times it may be too hot but I see the benefit of a heated gym- it's not always optimal during the summer. For the convenience and practicality of a gym, it meets the standards. Nothing fancy but nothing lacking. They could use a better range of fitness classes. The only classic ever see is Zumba and cycling. You can't beat the amenities for the price!

Be VERY cautious before signing up for personal training here…read more The initial "free session" was mostly a high-pressure sales process, which in hindsight should have been a red flag. Some aspects of the program also didn't match how they were presented during sign-up (things like guidance around goals, communication, and support outside of sessions). I do want to say that my trainer herself was kind and genuinely good during the sessions I had with her. I don't think the issue is the individual trainers as much as the structure of the program. That said, I did run into a couple of scheduling issues where I showed up for confirmed appointments that had been reassigned, and communication overall was inconsistent. I also would have appreciated more proactive follow-up--I needed to cancel my last session in December, life has been crazy, it's now Mid April and I never heard from anyone again--though I acknowledge I could have reached out as well. *****The biggest issue, however, has been the cancellation process.***** The contract requires written notice through a specific support email, and in practice, that process has been slow and difficult to navigate. It took multiple attempts to get clear direction, and communication was limited to being routed back to the same support channel without meaningful follow-through. Based on my experience and similar complaints from other customers, this appears to be a pattern. This creates a situation where it's easy to sign up, but MUCH harder than expected to cancel. I would strongly encourage anyone considering signing up to carefully review the cancellation terms and be prepared for a potentially frustrating process if you decide to end the program.

OVERCHARGED BY $300. QUIT DUE TO NOT WANTING TO LISTEN TO RELIGIOUS MUSIC WHILE WORKING OUT; no…read morerefund despite agreeing on cancellation and refund. Kenneth is not the type to make conversation, will charge you more than discussed, and is 100% the type to force you to listen to Christian music, though not advertised as a Christian trainer. I was enjoying the convenience and accountability of working with a trainer so close to home, until I came in to Christian music again. I politely asked, "Could we listen to something else?" He immediately became defensive and asked, "What do you mean?" I asked for something other than Christian music and he said, "No." I genuinely thought he was joking; I think it's a given that you don't bring up religion or politics with clients and you certainly shouldn't force it on someone. He kept playing the music and I politely asked again. I even gently let him know that for me it is extra sensitive since as a lesbian, my parents' religion is the reason they disowned me. He said Christianity is why he's a trainer? He asked what I'd prefer. Trying to find common ground, I recommended Jay-Z, since he'd played this often in the past. This is when he became a little reactive and illogical. He asked if I'd rather listen to rap music talking about bitches and hoes and drugs--this after asking him to play a musician he loves and plays often. There are limitless non-religious R&B, pop and rap stars that don't mention any of that. He also listens to Kanye, who also loves Jesus and hates Jews--so no real leg to stand on. At that point, I said I'd like to cancel my membership. He said I was almost done with my 24 appointments anyway. I wasn't worried about a refund on the few remaining sessions, but I let him know I had been charged again for $300 and he said he'd refund it. That was weeks ago. There has been no refund. A copy of my initial contract was never sent, but I thought I could trust Kenneth. I would have rated Kenneth a 3 for affordability and simply advised anyone that doesn't want to listen to Christian music to avoid him, but I was led to believe I was paying for 24 semi-private session total for $300 to be used over the course of 120 days, per the contract and expressly discussed, which would be an amazing price if it was what I was actually charged. Kenneth and I had discussed that I could only workout in the morning and that I would go in about 2x/week--so 24 sessions would cover about 3 months for $300. I have been charged $600 since September, though I have not been in for 24 sessions.
