Decided to try this local spot and I enjoyed my food! You can order online for pick up or deliver. I did pick up. It is located inside the plaza with Starbucks and 99 cents only store so there is plenty of parking. The food was prepared quickly and it was hot when I came to get it. I ordered the the $12.45 Green Curry with chicken. The green curry is made from fresh green chili paste with bamboo shoots, green bean, bell pepper, and basil leaves in coconut milk. It comes with jasmine rice. You have a choice of spicy level. I am not good with spice and mild was a good enough kick for me! You also choose protein or no meat. Pork, tofu, chicken, and veggies are not extra while shrimp, squid, beef, and fish are $2 extra. Seafood is $5 and combination meat is $3. It was flavorful and delicious. Portion was a little small for me but I still enjoyed my meal. There's plenty of seats inside to dine in. read more

Ate here on new years day and it wasn't even full. We ordered pretty quickly and ended up waiting 30+ minutes to get our food! The large 6 person table next to us ordered way after us and they got their food before us! Like what! Only after we saw that we asked our server where our food was and he immediately brought out my pad thai. The pad thai was super good though, lots of flavor and great noodle texture. In fact the next day they were still amazing! The noodles didn't form a clump at all and the flavor and texture were still good. Usually noodles go soggy and bad after a day but these did not. The green curry was also really good and full of rich and creamy flavor. It's probably one of the better thai curries that I've had, just in terms of how flavorful it is. sooooo beyond delicious, i always see this place when i go to the dollar tree right next door and i heard a coworker talking about how they have the best sticky rice ever so i knew i NEEDED to try this and i was not disappointed the mangos were soo ripe and yummy and the rice and coconut sauce was made to perfection, this is definitely a newfound favorite and i will be visiting again!! the service was quite amazing very nice kind ladies and the restaurant itself was so clean and amazing vibes definitely recommend read more

Today at Orchid Thai, first things first, I was greeted with a smile and immediately the server made us feel welcome. I ordered the Pad Thai (Chicken) and the Pad See Ew (Beef). Absolutely stellar, great food, great service, that home-y feel, like I wasn't intimidated by any type of dress code, felt right at home. I wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, out of all the things i ordered, it just seemed to get worse and worse. The taste of the green curry was bland. Although, you do get a small side of rice with it. The Tom Kha soup was probably the only tasty thing i had. My girlfriend was disappointed with it. She said it lacked flavor and wasn't creamy like it was supposed to be. The Honey Green Tea with boba was nothing to praise. It's just a typical drink with not much flavor. The Beef Pad See Ew was missing the beef, as well as anything worth mentioning. I will not be coming back. I wanted to give it a try since it was close by,but nothing stuck out besides the quick time it would be ready, which was about 15 minutes. Ambiance inside the place seemed nice. I had a to go order, though, so i didn't sit down to dine in. Definitely, not a thai place i would revisit. Try lucky Elephant in San Dimas if you want really good Thai food. Called in to order. Ordered chicken pad see ew, chicken yellow curry, Thai iced tea and mango sticky rice. NO utensils were provided on pick up. No napkins were provided on a to go order. The pad see ew had beef instead of chicken. The yellow curry container wasn't closed properly and leaked through the bag. I wouldn't recommend ordering 40 mins before closing. First visit and had a very nice experience. Staff was welcoming, and the service was efficient. Clean dining area and restrooms. Plenty of parking in the shopping center's lot. DRINK & FOOD: Ordered a Thai Iced Tea ($4.50) which was pre-made, but still good. Cans of soda were $1.95 and served with a glass of ice. Our meal started with half orders of the Egg Rolls ($5.25) and Fried Gyoza ($5.45) which included four pieces of each. They both came with a dipping sauce and were quite tasty. For our entrees, we shared the Combo Fried Rice ($15.45), Sweet & Sour Chicken ($13.45), which had a nice, crispy coating and juicy inside, and finally the Yellow Curry ($12.45). I asked for a medium heat level (5) on the curry, and it was nice, but the heat did build up, so I would probably do a 3 or 4 next time. Overall, we had a good time and I'm sure we'll be visiting Orchid Thai again. Would definitely recommend. read more

I really love this place for either dine in or take out food because they never disappoint. To me, it's the only good Thai food around that tastes really authentic. Whether I call in for an order or eat there with a friend, the servers are always friendly and attentive which is a plus in my book. Oh and be sure to try their boba with either milk or Thai tea! I've been in a search to find a boba place in the area that tastes as good as the 626 area and this place is now my go to. Thai tea with boba : super creamy and milky and the perfect amount of sweetness. The boba is chewy and sweet too Egg roll : perfect appetizer because it's nice and crispy and it tastes really good with the dipping sauce they give out Pad Thai chicken : my favorite dish. They cook it perfectly so the noodles are a little chewy and the sauce has really good flavor. Tom ka gain : this comes in a hot pot which is nice to keep the soup warm throughout the meal. It's a sort of sour and spicy soup with coconut milk and chicken. You can also get it with tofu or shrimp My friend also got their dessert roti with condensed milk and I tried a bite of it and it was delicious! Something so good that satisfies my sweet tooth. Too bad I was too full to get my own but I would recommend it to finish off your meal. This place is definitely a must try. One of the few places where all their dishes are amazing. read more

Stopped by Orchid Thai for lunch and was seriously impressed! My partner ordered the Thai Fried Rice with chicken and asked for it very, very spicy, and they definitely delivered. I got the Spicy Thai Basil with chicken, hot level, and it was absolutely delicious. Both dishes were packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and tasted like authentic Thai food. The lunch special was such a great deal too. It came with rice and two crispy egg rolls, and the portions were generous. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with authenticity. Service is great the women were so kind and friendly! It's a small place in the plaza w the Dollar Tree and Starbucks! The restaurant is small but perfect size too super comfortable! ***Only complaint honestly is their Thai Tea is expensive. 5.99? Is incredibly expensive and when it's in the smallest cup with half ice there's really no drink. Also a 0.75 add on if you want no ice... Food was surprisingly good...I loved green curry it was right spicy... friends had Pad Thai and Pad See-ew with flat noodles they said they were very good...as well. I'm very disappointed with my recent order. I ordered tom kha soup with shrimp and a side of rice, and unfortunately both were not fresh. The shrimp appeared black and old; I tried one bite and had to spit it out. The rice also seemed old and was not edible. I ended up wasting over $20 on this order. This was a very unpleasant experience, and I won't be ordering again. I hope the restaurant takes food quality more seriously. read more

The Pad Thai fish is really good! Normally I get it with chicken but decided to get the fish. The fillet was very soft and melted in your mouth! I'll try to fish more often. My friend got the Seafood Tom Yum soup in that huge hot pot. We got our free Thai Teas and that paired well with our meal. Very good place! First off the staffs are nice, they are attentive and helpful. I almost always have the yellow curry rice, which is thicker in flavor than other places that I have been.
