This was my first time trying Thai food. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted and seated immediately. I was very excited to try this place, as it has a very high rating on Yelp. This restaurant has a cozy, welcoming, and friendly ambiance. It's not too fancy, but it's pleasant enough for lunch or dinner. The dining area is moderately sized, not huge or upscale, but comfortable for most groups. I decided to try the Kung Pao chicken, the Chow Mein with vegetables, the Crispy Bomb, and the Hot & Spicy Fried Rice. Let's start with the Kung Pao chicken. Kung Pao chicken is generally a stir-fried dish made with chicken, zucchini, onion, bell peppers, peanuts, and sometimes spicy dried peppers. This restaurant has its own twist on the dish and uses a spicy roasted chili garlic soy base rather than the sweeter, more Americanized Chinese versions. The chicken was tender and very flavorful. Let's talk about the Chow Mein next. This restaurant allows you to order this dish with your choice of protein or just vegetables. I chose to order it with just vegetables. The noodles were perfectly cooked, but I found the dish a bit too salty for my taste. Next up is the Crispy Bomb. The Crispy Bomb is a mixed appetizer sampler that includes two egg rolls, two shrimp tempura, two cream cheese wontons, and three fried potstickers. This appetizer offers a generous and satisfying mix if you want a variety of crispy bites. It was the perfect way to start my meal. Last but not least, the Hot & Spicy Fried Rice. This was by far the star of the show. The rice is cooked with egg, chili, onion, bell peppers, and basil leaves for extra heat and Thai flair. I chose to add chicken to this dish. You are also allowed to choose a spice level, and I selected the second-highest level. This dish was savory with a noticeable heat from the chilies, aromatic from the basil leaves, and balanced with tender stir-fried rice and vegetables. I have been craving this dish again ever since I tried it. Now, let's talk about the service. This is where my final score takes a slight hit. My server seemed a bit moody at first, but she mellowed out toward the end. One major issue was that she was not attentive. Most of the times she checked in were when I was about to finish my meal. I also never got my drink refilled because of this. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, so I was surprised by the lack of attentiveness. Overall, this restaurant is a solid choice for authentic, tasty Thai food. I would like to give it another try in the near future, and I hope the service improves by then. Siam Casa is indeed a hidden gem. We've had Siam Casa 2x in the past. One time via Grubhub and one time in person at the restaurant. Honestly, their prices are quite reasonable in my opinion. We have been very happy with all the food we have ordered from here. The restaurant is located by a new Starbucks. We were greeted and seated quickly. The location has plenty of tables and the decorations are nice. The staff here was super attentive and extremely friendly to us the entire time. We ordered Chicken Larb Salad ($13.95), Pad See You with beef ($14.95) and the Curry Noodle with Chicken ($13.50). The portions and presentation were stellar. Pictures are easy to take when the food looks really delicious. We enjoyed every bite and enjoyed dining in at Siam Casa. We had plenty of leftovers after dinner. First time here and had a great experience at Siam Casa Thai Cuisine in Baldwin Park. Was in the neighborhood hungry and craving something filling. This place is very clean and decorated as if you've been immersed into Thai culture. I ordered the Pad See You and Pad Kee Mao, and both were outstanding. The Pad Kee Mao, a dish I often find to be pretty spicy, but the way they make it had a perfect balance of heat. It was spicy enough to be exciting but not so much that it was painful to eat. I also enjoyed their Thai teas, which were served in generously sized cups and were incredibly refreshing. I particularly appreciated that they used crushed ice instead of large, chunky cubes. The teas were perfectly sweetened. The service was another highlight the staff was very kind and attentive. For dessert, I tried the mango sticky rice for the first time. The subtle sweetness and rich coconut flavor in the rice were absolutely amazing, making for a perfect, satisfying end to the meal. It is now 2026 and a return trip to Siam Casa was long overdue. Came in on a quiet Tuesday night to enjoy some Red Curry and a few other dishes for the group. Affordable and friendly Thai spot! The staff member that took my order was super nice and welcoming. The lunch specials aren't on their website but I'm glad they have them in person. The menu on the outside of the business has outdated prices and should definitely be updated, but the prices overall are very low for Thai food anyway and the portion size was fair. The menu specifically says if you do the lunch special takeaway you don't get a salad but I was given one anyway which is really nice, the vinegrette on it was phenomenal. All the flavors were really good, they made the curry more mild for me which I appreciate. The rice that comes with the lunch curry was too little rice for the amount of sauce in my opinion. This is my go-to Thai restaurant in the area, even though it's a little out of the way. I usually call in my order, and by the time I arrive, the food is ready. It's located in a small, quiet plaza, so parking is always easy. I appreciate how smooth the phone ordering process is, and the food is always packed well in microwavable containers, which makes reheating super convenient. My favorite dish here is probably the Crying Tiger -- the flavor is solid and it hits the spot when I'm craving extra protein. Other dishes like the Pad Thai and Tom Yum seafood soup are also really good. That said, I wasn't a fan of some items like the Drunken Noodles or Ginger Fish. Delicious homey Thai restaurant in Baldwin Park of all places. We ordered the Thai Grilled Chicken which takes 15 minutes so the starters were Seafood Tom Yum and Papaya Salad with grilled shrimp. The portions are generous and with attention to presentation which we didn't expect. I enjoyed the Tom Yum, the broth was both sour and the right note of sweetness, the seafood plentiful and cooked perfectly. The papaya salad was perfect with the shrimp cooked to a perfect light char. The cook's little daughter sat at the cash register, her younger brother played with dinosaurs in a corner table. A very overdue review! I've been going to this restaurant for over a year now. I usually stop by to eat a lunch special or to pick up lunch. I've brought a few friends to try it and they've also enjoyed it. The restaurant is medium-sized with plenty of tables to accommodate different sized parties. They usually have a television on that's showing different types of Asian food, kind of like a traveling vlog focused on food. I normally get their green curry with tofu or chicken, their tom kha soup, calamari, and their young coconut. I have tried their pad thai, spicy green beans, and sticky rice with mango. Everything has been delicious! This restaurant does get busy during lunchtime, so if you're planning on dining in, come around 11:30 - 11:45 to beat the lunch crowds. I was craving Thai food, I stopped by Siam Casa Thai to order some dishes to go. The parking is shared with other businesses, but it was easy to find a spot to park the car. I confirmed with the cashier my order many times and I also, pointed at the picture. I experienced some difficulties to communicate with her and I repeated the name of every dish at least 2 to 3 times, in addition to I showed her a written note (on my cellphone notes) of the dishes that I ordered to make sure she understood me. Some how when I went home I found that she gave me Siam Casa noodles instead. It was not bad but it wasn't the one I ordered. -Siam Casa noodles;  1.5 /5 Noodle soup with shrimp, shredded chicken, meatball, tofu, crispy wonton, beansprout, green onion, and cilantro,  It was tasteless. I've never had curry so watery (see photo). It was like drinking curry soup. The eggplant with chicken dish tasted like take out Chinese food. I was craving Thai food so thought we'd give this place a try. We started with their papaya salad with grilled shrimp. That shrimp didn't seem to be grilled, but the salad had a nice flavor to it. We also got their garlic chicken wings. It was good, but it needed a little bit more garlic. We also got the Thai style pork jerky that was pretty good too. I wish that dipping sauce was a little bit more spicy. For our mains, we got green curry with beef, which was good but a little too sweet for our taste. My favorite was the seafood Tom Yum fried rice. It had lots of seafood and it had great flavor. We ended the meal with their Thai tea that had the right amount of sweetness. I had my usual Thai dish, Yellow Curry with Chicken ($10.95), served with white rice and a small salad. It was tasty, but didn't "wow" me. My wife states that they are always busy during lunch (excellent lunch specials), and the staff does their best to handle the crowds. There's a Starbucks sharing the same small parking lot, so getting in and out of parking spaces can be tough with the line of cars for the SB drive-thru. Finally came to try this as it was the midpoint for me and my good friend. We met here for lunch on a weekday. As I was making my way to the restaurant on Arrow Hwy, it was so industrial that I wondered if I was going the right way but after passing the more industrial area, I found the plaza with Starbucks and Siam Casa. Arrived around 11 am and we were the first party of the day. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was welcoming. The staff also greeted and seated us right away. They had a printed menu of their lunch specials and a QR code at the table to scan for the full menu. We ordered: 1) Yellow Curry with Chicken - asked for as mild as possible (as we had a child dining with us) and they were very nice and transparent in explaining to us that they can make it mild but the dish will have still have a bit of spice because of the curry. When the dish arrived, it was as promised. Low heat and I appreciate that they use chicken breast, which is what I prefer to balance the richness of the curry. Flavor was on point with the right balance of savory and sweet for a yellow curry. So good with rice! 2) Pad Thai - classic noodle dish at any Thai restaurant and having a kiddo, we had to get this. Just as expected as well - delicious! Also got the chicken (breast) option. 3) Thai BBQ Chicken - I was craving papaya salad and BBQ chicken and really wanted both but that would've been way too much food for two adults and a child so decided with the chicken instead. It arrived as a portion of a half chicken with dark and white meat. The chicken breast part were still moist and flavorful. And they provided a sweet chili sauce and their house dipping sauce, which I actually loved and preferred over the sweet chili. We had plenty of food leftover and packed it to take home. Also, as we left, the restaurant t was packed and it's always to see a local mom-and-pop restaurant thriving with business and of course, after having dined here, I can see why. Service is great and food is great and also, prices are very reasonable. With inflation, it's not uncommon to see $16+ for a Thai dish. For reference, BBQ chicken at other Thai places are ~$17 and it was only $15.50 here and they don't skimp on the portions too. Will definitely be coming back! read more

I have been at Siam Casa Thai Cuisine twice for lunch. In both occasions the food has been great, fresh and tasty. The place is busy during lunch, and the staff does their best to handle the influx of people trying to get some of their excellent food as soon as possible. The first time I visited Siam Casa Thai, it took quite a while to be served, and my party was starting to get a little antsy since we need to head back to the office for a 1:00 pm meeting, but we did not complain about the service. Once we finished eating and asked to the check, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the restaurant had given us a very generous 50% discount in compensation for the delayed serviced. The fact that we did not mention anything negative to the server in order to receive the discount says a lot about the restaurant's great commitment to customer service, The second time I visited the restaurant it was also for lunch, for this time, the place was a little less crowded and service was much faster. In both cases the food has been great, and Siam Casa Thai Cuisine offers excellent lunch specials. I heard of this place by word of mouth and found out that it's actually under new management. I figured I give it a try to see if it's worth going to that's close by. They close at 7pm and we walked in around 6:15 (damn traffic) but a few more parties came after us and they still took everyone in - that's great service! The flat rice noodles were perfectly stir-fried with tender chicken, crisp broccoli with carrots, and a delightful savory sauce. The portion was large, and the veggies looked and tasted fresh, like they just chopped them for the dish. Pineapple Fried Rice - This had the right balance of sweetness and savory flavors. The rice tasted delicious and fresh. Very tasty. On a side note, I appreciated that the prices were good and that it was only 50 cents to upgrade from the base protein to beef.
