Siam Casa is indeed a hidden gem. We've had Siam Casa 2x in the past. One time via Grubhub and one time in person at the restaurant. Honestly, their prices are quite reasonable in my opinion. We have been very happy with all the food we have ordered from here. The restaurant is located by a new Starbucks. We were greeted and seated quickly. The location has plenty of tables and the decorations are nice. The staff here was super attentive and extremely friendly to us the entire time. We ordered Chicken Larb Salad ($13.95), Pad See You with beef ($14.95) and the Curry Noodle with Chicken ($13.50). The portions and presentation were stellar. Pictures are easy to take when the food looks really delicious. We enjoyed every bite and enjoyed dining in at Siam Casa. We had plenty of leftovers after dinner. I'd recommend any of those 3 dishes if you're familiar or open to trying them. We have Siam Casa as great option in our Thai food rotation in our area. Thank you, Siam Casa!

Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants with high quality food and very affordable prices. Came here since it had such high ratings and was pretty local. Wasn't too busy on Saturday around 1 pm, plenty of tables so there probably won't be a wait. We were served pretty quickly and we tried a few items. Crispy Garlic Wings - Worth it as an appetizer. Was crispy and super flavorful. Comes with a nice salad. Great dish. (5/5) Pad Thai w/ Chicken - You can tell this pad thai is good by just how it looks. Noodles were perfectly cooked and not soggy, and flavors were strong. Had a nice peanut flavor and really enjoyed it. (4.5/5) Siam Casa Noodle Soup - The name of the restaurant is this dish so it must be good and it totally is. It may not be for everyone because it is a bit sour (like fish sauce tasting) but to me really enjoyed the flavors. Loved all the items it came with, would recommend. (5/5) Mango Sticky Rice - A classic sticky rice and the coconut rice was a bit special with nice crunchy homemade mung beans. Flavorful and mangos were fresh. Would recommend. (5/5) Overall all the food here tasted great and was only $10-$13 a dish, much cheaper than many of the other Thai restaurants that I've been to around the SGV. A hidden gem forsure! Parking - Easy, there a lot in front with plenty of spaces.

It is now 2026 and a return trip to Siam Casa was long overdue. Came in on a quiet Tuesday night to enjoy some Red Curry and a few other dishes for the group. Everything tasted great (as usual) and kept its reputation as one of our favorite Thai food spots that isn't too far. Items ordered were spring rolls, cashew nut chicken, pad Thai, and red curry. Our server was helpful and left us to our own devices but responded quickly to any requests.

First time here and had a great experience at Siam Casa Thai Cuisine in Baldwin Park. Was in the neighborhood hungry and craving something filling. This place is very clean and decorated as if you've been immersed into Thai culture. I ordered the Pad See You and Pad Kee Mao, and both were outstanding. The Pad Kee Mao, a dish I often find to be pretty spicy, but the way they make it had a perfect balance of heat. It was spicy enough to be exciting but not so much that it was painful to eat. I also enjoyed their Thai teas, which were served in generously sized cups and were incredibly refreshing. I particularly appreciated that they used crushed ice instead of large, chunky cubes. The teas were perfectly sweetened. The service was another highlight the staff was very kind and attentive. For dessert, I tried the mango sticky rice for the first time. The subtle sweetness and rich coconut flavor in the rice were absolutely amazing, making for a perfect, satisfying end to the meal. Unfortunately, I was so full from the noodles that I couldn't finish it all. This place is definitely worth a return visit to explore more of their menu!

Menu on the window is out of date, when you go inside the updated menu has different prices.

Affordable and friendly Thai spot! The staff member that took my order was super nice and welcoming. The lunch specials aren't on their website but I'm glad they have them in person. The menu on the outside of the business has outdated prices and should definitely be updated, but the prices overall are very low for Thai food anyway and the portion size was fair. The menu specifically says if you do the lunch special takeaway you don't get a salad but I was given one anyway which is really nice, the vinegrette on it was phenomenal. All the flavors were really good, they made the curry more mild for me which I appreciate. The rice that comes with the lunch curry was too little rice for the amount of sauce in my opinion. Will definitely come back here for lunch.

Nice and clean , you can tell from the storefront

This is my go-to Thai restaurant in the area, even though it's a little out of the way. I usually call in my order, and by the time I arrive, the food is ready. It's located in a small, quiet plaza, so parking is always easy. I appreciate how smooth the phone ordering process is, and the food is always packed well in microwavable containers, which makes reheating super convenient. My favorite dish here is probably the Crying Tiger -- the flavor is solid and it hits the spot when I'm craving extra protein. Other dishes like the Pad Thai and Tom Yum seafood soup are also really good. That said, I wasn't a fan of some items like the Drunken Noodles or Ginger Fish. They offer a lunch special until 3 PM, which comes with a side salad. I believe the special also applies to takeout orders.

Consistency ! Always a flavorful meal ! Really tasty coconut soup . We think the shrimp is a great meat choice . Very flavorful & they give you your money's worth, we also enjoy the thick noodle dish . . Fresh chilled coconuts are available too .

A very overdue review! I've been going to this restaurant for over a year now. I usually stop by to eat a lunch special or to pick up lunch. I've brought a few friends to try it and they've also enjoyed it. The restaurant is medium-sized with plenty of tables to accommodate different sized parties. They usually have a television on that's showing different types of Asian food, kind of like a traveling vlog focused on food. I normally get their green curry with tofu or chicken, their tom kha soup, calamari, and their young coconut. I have tried their pad thai, spicy green beans, and sticky rice with mango. Everything has been delicious! This restaurant does get busy during lunchtime, so if you're planning on dining in, come around 11:30 - 11:45 to beat the lunch crowds. I believe lunch specials end at 3:00. Overall, nothing but great experiences! The staff is both attentive and friendly. I will be returning soon.

Highly recommend! My husband suggested I try this place, and I'm so glad I did. The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. It had such a warm, inviting atmosphere--like a gathering of regulars, with a genuine sense of community. The yellow curry was a perfect 10/10--one of the best I've had in a long time! The cozy vibe, paired with their Nama casa, truly made for a delightful experience. I can't wait to go back!

The service was really good and the waitress was very nice, which is the only reason why I'm giving the restaurant 3 stars. However, the food was really not that great. I've never had curry so watery (see photo). It was like drinking curry soup. The eggplant with chicken dish tasted like take out Chinese food. We also got a tom yum soup with level "hot" spicy and it was probably closer to a mild and was very light in flavor. Overall, the food was not good and if you're looking for watery curry, this is the place.

Food comes out quick and the servers are always courteous and smiling. The restaurant has so much to look at. They have some interesting plants that are a must see.

We went here for lunch today in search of the next great Thai spot and tantawan did not disappoint…read more Positives: -the food was great and they definitely brought the real spice. We got southern curry noodles, flaming drunken noodle at extra spicy, and Che Po. The curry noodles were good we got the flat noodles. Though my wife likes it more savory I like it more coconutty. The che po was okay, the rice was steeped in the sauce which was too much for my wife and some of the pork belly pieces were tough. The bbq pork and the duck was good though. Authentic Thai and Chinese fusion taste. The star of the show was the flaming drunken noodle. It's probably one of the best drunken noodles we've had. At extra spicy, it definitely brought the flame and the foavor in a big way. The portions and prices were great. We had to togo the drunken noodle and it got even better after we reheated it. -service was very friendly and quick -the restaurant is a good size, great for large parties. Negatives: None 5/5 overall We will definitely be back, we already have our eye on trying the pad Thai and the tom yum noodles. My wife wants to bring the spice down, but i want the smoke I want that extra spicy level again lol

Has this place gone through new ownership?…read more I used to frequent Tantawan Thai Cuisine at least once a week -- it was my go to Thai spots because it's nearby. I would always order the Thai boat noodles, Pad Kee Mao, or Pad Thai, and they were consistently flavorful, bold, and satisfying every time. These three dishes were on constant rotation. Lately though, something feels very different. The flavor and overall taste of the dishes have noticeably changed. The Thai boat noodles no longer have that rich, deep broth, the pad kee mao isn't as smoky and punchy, and the pad thai tastes flatter and not as saucey than it used to. The food just doesn't hit the same. On top of that, the employees were clearly new. Service has been noticeably slower, and they repeatedly ask the same questions multiple times when I phone in my order. I've always mentioned that I don't want liver in my Thai boat noodles and that I like my pad thai spicy -- and before, that was never an issue or a back and forth conversation. Now, I'm asked the same clarifying questions over and over, and I'm even told that they "don't make pad thai spicy," which was never the case before. It's honestly disappointing because this used to be such a reliable weekly staple for me. I'm not sure if there's been a change in ownership, staff, or recipes, but the consistency in both food and service just isn't there anymore. I really hope they can bring back the quality and experience that made me a regular in the first place.

Still Amazing After All These Years…read more I've been coming to this Thai spot for years, and it never disappoints. Fun fact my family was actually their very first customers when they opened years ago, and it's been awesome watching them grow while keeping the same quality and hospitality. The food is absolutely bomb every single time. On my last visit I ordered the chicken fried rice, Pad See Ew, and chicken Pad Thai, and everything was on point. The fried rice had great flavor and wasn't greasy, the Pad See Ew had perfectly cooked noodles with that smoky wok flavor, and the Pad Thai was balanced perfectly -- not too sweet, not too salty, just right. What really stands out though is the service. The staff remembered after not being here for years!! (Moved to Texas) They've always been friendly, welcoming, and appreciative of their customers. You can tell they genuinely care about the people who come in. It's one of those places that's consistent, authentic, and just hits the spot every time. If you're craving Thai food in the area, this place is a must. Highly recommend.

We have our local favorites and decided to give this a shot because of high ratings…read more This is a take out review. We ordered fresh rolls, yellow chicken curry, shrimp pad thai and mango sticky rice. Fresh rolls were okay, veggie heavy (which we like) , peanut sauce was decent. The curry had no flavor, kinda slimmy, which i thought was just me , until I poured some out and green moldy chicken . We decided not to eat the shrimp pad thai for safety. We opened the mango sticky rice and right away brown mango. I dug down and what looked good but nope, brown mango. Couldn't eat any of it. We want our money back. Never eating from this spot again. One star was for the jasmine rice. Honestly I had hope because it was the first item I opened, it was aromatic and fluffy, not mushy. Good job on the rice, let that one cook do the rest of the cooking.

This spot definitely ticks all the boxes for a local gem…read more Grown up in this area my whole life and always pass by it since it's in such a small plaza next to a pawn shop - but the food is anything but forgetful! My friends and I came on a Friday evening at 9pm and it was relatively empty with maybe 1 or 2 more small parties. Has all the Thai Classics you could want on a menu and then some. For 5 people, I think 4 dishes is the perfect amount but 5 if you're feeling pretty hungry. Beef Spicy Fried Rice (med spice): a staple and solid to go well with any of the entrees, though maybe smaller on the portion size Tom Yum: served in a heated tin pot - also a smaller portion size but flavor is great and not overboard with the sour for people who like milder Tom Yums Bbq Pork: served with a tangy sauce - great sharable dish Khao Soi: this was a table favorite - so much so we ordered seconds! Curry is plentiful so make sure to save some rice or get a separate bowl of white rice to really indulge. Served with a chicken drumstick that is fall off the bone tender and flavorful. And even you don't have rice the noodles are a great vehicle for the curry! Also spice is not a problem if you are hesitant because they can serve it to the side and you can adjust to your liking. Service was great - always attentive and they were very sweet even when we had such a great time chatting over the food food we stayed 20 mins over! (oops) gotta try if you're a local
