We went in to Orchid Thai for a Saturday lunch, and Orchid Thai did not disappoint. I had the Thai Beef Salad, medium heat. The salad was crispy, the beef flavorful, and the dressing amazing. The salad is a main course size, or easily shared among three. The medium spice was spot on. I would suggest a bit smaller cut on the tomatoes and cucumbers. My guests had the Yellow Curry (very low spice) and Orchid Thai Pork, medium (can't remember the name of the latter. Both dishes were quite good and prepared to the specified spice level. As we were seated, our order was taken and in just a few minutes, our large order was already coming! First, we received our vegetable egg rolls. I've been coming to this restaurant for YEARS. My family comes here and we've spent a lot of money over the years. Usually the male waiter is the one that is working when we come. September 24 I came with my kids to have dinner. We walked in and was waiting for the female waitress to attend us, she saw us and ignored us and kept attending everyone that was obviously Asian. After what seemed like forever she finally sat us down. My son which had a disability was making a lot of noise and was shushing him saying "why you do that" I told her "he's autistic, he has a disability he can't help it" and didn't say anything after that. We ordered our food and there was other 2 customers that were Asian that she was assisting and never came to check on us and ask if we needed anything or refills on our drinks. I felt like this waitress racially profiled us and was very rude and unprofessional. I will not be coming back to this establishment and I will definitely let my family know not to waste their money here any longer. I'm very upset by the lack of respect this waitress had. read more
